As redkaw pointed out, you're paying for the support system -- how about you give me $45/mo (half what your local "Box" charges you), and for that I'll text you words of encouragement for an hour while reminding you to write down your reps? Don't even need to critique your form, Crossfit doesn't, they'll just wait until you injure yourself or get rhabdomyolysis.

Cross fit turns people into kool-aid drinking cult followers. Next thing you know, you only wear shorts (no matter the temperature), flip flops, and drive a Jeep.

There are a lot of us who lived on this site back in the day. It's still a great community and Ben is still doing what he does best by making this place a killer. I wish I still had the time to come around these parts as often as I used to. I vote for a 10 year Anniversary scavenger hunt. Just Sayin'

updated my wireless router in the house....the last one I bought in '99 and was starting to be a bit of a bottleneck in performance.... upgraded to a Cisco RV110W-A-NA-K9 Small Business RV110W Wireless N VPN Firewall Router damn thing has more features than I'll ever use, but for $60, I think it'll do for the next decade or so!

This is different. Before it was illegal to make these mods. Now it is going to be illegal to sell these mods. I believe that means pci's and aftermarket pipes for our bikes might very well be illegal. And they no longer have to try and find us, they just need to bust the manufacturer. Enforcement becomes easy peezy.

Sounds like my ordeal with our old Ford Exploder many moons ago. Took it in for the tranny slipping between 2nd and 3rd. 4 days later got it back with a Ford rebuild but now it's slipping between 3rd and 4th. Took it back and 5 days later got it back again. About 3 weeks after that we were back to slipping between 2nd and 3rd again. This time the tech is calling me a liar and says it's not and he can't get it to do it. So I take him for a drive and sometimes it would do it on its own but I knew how to make it do it. I had to floor it up a hill and make it shift hard to make it do it. At this point he doesn't deny that it slipped but said "you're not supposed to drive it that hard". And they denied my replacement. At this point I'm pissed the f*** off so I get a hold of Ford's customer service directly, and basically throw idle threats at them like lemon law and talking to my lawyer. 2 days later I get a call from the service manager of the same dealer telling me to bring it back. So we do and at this point he says it's going to be a little over a week because they're going to send my transmission out too hard shift in Johnstown and have it Heavyduty rebuilt. To make this long story shorter that took care of it never had a problem with the transmission after that. The engine several years later was a different story but that was out of warranty. That was a vehicle that burnt me on never buy a Ford again. Three transmissions and two engines in less than 120,000 miles. And I'm pretty sure the engine was on the way out again when I traded it in.

I thikn xfit can be good if you are already in pretty decent shape and don't get crazy. People are getting hurt all over the place from xfit activities because a) they are not fit or instructed well enough to attempt some of the things they are asked to do b) they are doing activities that are inherently dangerous. Personally, I'm thinking of doing boxing. Years ago I did kick boxing training and it was an incredible workout and whipped me into shape in no time. Plus it's fun and gives you skills you could use in the real world to protect yourself
