Not an uncommon problem in wet clutch assemblies that have sat for a long time. Had the same issue with an old Z1A that was thrown down the road and had been sitting in the back of a friend's garage for a decade or more. The clutch plates basically freeze together--old thick oil, rust, oxidation--and the release springs don't have enough pressure to force them apart. Once I got the motor running, I actually had to get the bike rolling and drop it into 1st and then take it up the street banging shifts thru 2-3-4-5 under power while holding the clutch lever in. It eventually came free and worked flawlessly from then on. If that doesn't work, you'll have to pull the plates and either soak 'em to loosen them or replace with new. Also, if you're not familiar with the tranny in Kaws, they all have a 1st-2nd lockout--a simple spring-loaded ball detent--that prevents the shift forks from selecting 2nd gear from neutral unless the bike is moving.1 point

thanks guys! IT SOLD TODAY... And guess what.. For what I was asking! So you all with your price is too high bullshit, go troll someone else's ad. I know how to price my vehicles. I've always sold my vehicles for less than KBB says it's worth. I had 5.. Yes 5 people with cash offers of $8500.. I got what I wanted, the guy that got it got what he wanted and was extremely happy! Now time to search for a truck1 point

Every excavation contractor I ever dealt with was that way. Unorganized, scattered brained, hard to get in contact with. Guy that did the back fill and tile for my garage was this way. I was ready to say fuck him after 4 weeks of waiting and one morning he called and said he was on the way and knocked it out in two days. Dude pissed me off royal getting him out there but once he was I was very happy with his work.1 point

The bike has a title... It's just not in the name of the person selling you the bike. Ask yourself why. Another option is to hunt down the title if it's worth your time. Where did the seller get the bike from? Follow the chain back. I would never buy a bike without a title. Not even for a track bike. You always run the risk of the actual title holder claiming the bike back. Do you have the VIN? Can you do a title search on this page: https://ext.dps.state.oh.us/BMVOnlineServices.Public/TitleSearch.aspx Then you can at least figure out how long ago the current active title was issued and which county it is in (if in Ohio). As far as contacting the current title holder... that might be more difficult. The title division might be able to help you.1 point

oh come on, rim jobs have been around for EVER! Long before rule 34, or even before rap existed. Let's not forget the donkey shows, ping-pong girls in the Philippines, or basket girls....I could go on and on.1 point

Only was in a cop car one time and that's because some dickwad ran me into a concrete barrier, drove off and the sherif deputy was taking me to a gas station so I could get a ride.1 point

Understood...I personally try to support the small businesses when I can. My wife and I are small business owners and had a retail small business for a time but sold it several years ago. You used to be able to make a nice living with your own small business...now you get by and it doesn't helped that the gov't ass-rapes small business owners in taxes.1 point

And what no one seems to understand in simple terms is a small business needs to sell 10 dongles marked up $10 to make the same as big online retailer sells 100 dongles marked up 1 dollar. But mostly because the big online retailers and box stores strong arm companies into either wholesaling at a deep discount so the manufacture starts making less OR running a giant e commerce/scan to pay/ consignment scheme.1 point

trust me, its not so ripe... unfortunately, video killed the radio star. With big places like revzilla, MS, IP, and a bunch others, its hard for us small guys to compete in the retail world. the only time we make any profit whatsoever, is labor sales. if we try to mark up parts/accessories/apparel, its always "i can get it cheaper on the internet". We actually accept 'bring your own parts' to help customers save a buck. its ruthless out there. its so easy to lose business over a $5 bill. saying all that, i'd still love to open a retail store front in the downtown cincinnati area, maybe someday...1 point

What, it's true., And there is nothing wrong with Harley gear. It's all re-branded and made by the usual manufacturers. For example their touring seats are made by Mustang and cost the same as buying it from Mustang.1 point

Harley riders buy Harley branded gear 99.9 percent of the time. So that is not their market.1 point

I might take you up on that. My 40x34 work jeans im wearing now i don't even have to unbutton or unzip them to put them on or take them off I have to really tighten down the old belt. We will see how the next couple few months go, but I'm pretty confident is coming off to stay off this time. Ill probably need to drop about 30 to 40 lbs more to get into a 36.1 point

Didnt say she couldn't lose weight just said her goals weren't obtainable. And the PT recommendation was for her to talk to some specialist doctors (which we did) and this is the course of action they/we decided on after a shit ton of testing and a lot of trial and error stuff. This wasn't a spur of the moment thing for her it's been a year and a half ordeal and thousands of dollars in medical bills just to decided this is her best option. Didn't think I needed to go on that kind of depth, and there are still things I will not disclose that were factors. All I was saying is it got kicked off by the PT pulling her to the side and giving her a heart to heart and telling her what she wanted to acieve wasn't going to happen. And with what we found out with all the testing probably saved her life.1 point

He didn't recommend the surgury just told her that her goals weren't obtainable with what she was doing or was able to do. Like I said too much info you don't know to assuming that.1 point

You obviously don't have enough information to make that statment. And I'm too polite to call anyone a idiot that I don't know.1 point

I come here to be the voice of reason and tranquility only to find so many changes that I'm not sure if I'm able to process them all. Apparently new standards are in place for moderator qualifications and just any old shit stirrer can meet them. Plus it appears that the site has turned into a gay bicyclist club. Does anyone know of a good motorcycle riding forum?1 point

Don't do it. Bill of sale means dick in Ohio, there is a cumbersome process to plate an abandoned vehicle but from what I've read it's a pain and won't result in a clear (non salvage etc) title, which means insurance companies won't touch it for anything more than min coverage/liability.1 point
