I always keep my tourmaster 2pc rain suit in my Givi trunk. and Will be wearing it the whole ride down that morning. Rain suit makes for a good Wind Breaker to help keep you warmer when faced with colder temps!

I think the North Carolina mountain folk in charge of tourism need to hire a marketing person. All the Dragon stuff is kind of silly and redundant.

Don't really give a shit that it's named or what it's named but the loop routes look like they would be fun. And they are new roads I've never been on. Everyone always ask me how I find all thr kick ass roads that I ride, well this is how.

Regardless of the health affects (good or bad) I would much rather have a person that vapes around me than a person that smokes. I can put up with them exhaling something that smells like apple pie or some fruit/berry rather than cigarette smoke that smells like the ashes left behind after a warehouse fire.

Just returned from the 14th annual V-Strom event at Iron Horse M/C Lodge. It's been awhile since I've attended this but this year many of the original (old) track gents from Barbers Motorsports park area came and it was like old times. Great weather and Riding for all. My new Strom with the 50/50 Mitas tires worked great. Road a little forest service roads but 90% was the good stuff. Nothing new to report down at the gap. The Mini Coopers were out in force but they don't take up too much room in the lanes and it was easy to deal with them. Standard Photo's

I have only spooned on 1 set of tires, but my experience was just the opposite. Removing the wheels was the easy part, removing and mounting the tires was the pain for me. Granted I have removed the wheels multiple times. If it eventually becomes easier to mount the tires I will be so happy.

I know its only Monday, but the weekend forecast is looking pretty good (Especially Sunday) I live just west of Akron/Canton (Wooster, Ohio) I'll be down to ride both Saturday and Sunday if anyone is interested in getting a group together. I've been riding when I can since 2009 and just got my first bike (2000 Gixxer 750) still learning everytime I go out so it would be nice to meet some of you folks as well (I still dont know any good routes other than 83) Hopefully we can get something going. Idc where we meet up (Cleveland,Akron Area,Wooster) I just wanna ride!
