  1. The free shit army is being misled for votes. They drive this ignorant, false, "hate" the successful person/business mentality. I've never looked at someone rich or better off than me and thought damn he/she should give back so I can have more. What I think about is what are they doing right, so I can copy it and be more successful.

  2. I would like to know if anyone believes the top 20% of earners are paying "Their Fair Share", based on the IRS figures the top 20% pay 84% of the taxes. I consider this more than their fair share.

  3. I might have been the one who posted those roads, they are all favorites of mine.As for conditions...I was down there early this year ...217 from 141 to Greasy Ridge was paved last year and still very good.217 from Greasy Ridge to 7 is older and getting a little rough.I would still run it though because 217 from 218 to 7 is one of the four twistyest roads I know in SEO.From what I remember 218,141 and 790 where all in very good condition although 790 was very dirty for some reason.I hope it's clean for your trip because it is a very good road. Two county roads in that area worth trying ...Hannon Trace from 775 to 790 is very good. You can pick it up on 790 about a mile from 218. Greasy Ridge road is a fun tight sweeper road.It parallels 775 and crosses it two or three times. The bottom part was paved last year but the top part is still older pavement, but still fun. Sadly the best part of 775,Wilgus to Lecta,is full of tar snakes.

  4. Gump. You are going to get me all fired up first thing. Allt hat I am going to say is that the Free Shit Army is taking over this country. Makes me insane every time I look at the tax portion of my paycheck and then I hear that I should be paying more.

  7. Were you looking in a mirror when you typed this? Because you're basically in the same wrong by blaming the non-mod regulators for not kicking this kid back onto the sidewalk, forcing your hands around the ban hammer handle, when it looked to me like you had stepped in on the Epic thread and blew the warning whistle before TimTheAzn could really muster much of a retort. At least that's how it appeared, but I haven't been as active this last month either, so I surely missed out on some of the other backstory shenanigans. BUT, I'm having trouble wrapping my head around your theory in where you prefer a referee free debate, that is ultimately being refereed all while the referee complains he even needs to be there refereeing, dissolve itself? I thought mods were here to moderate, not spectate?

  9. prolly am gonna be flamed from both sides, and I am doing this against my better judgment of being active only in rides/ events and staying away from drama and socio economic discussions. fore word: don't know the whole story / don't know if he was banned or he quit / don't know how extreme he went or if he deserves it. I am no judge. But to keep the discussion alive will just post some blabbering wandering thoughts 0hi0 despite being little too brash was fun to have around, was making the forums lively, was giving a little bit of chuckle now and then and never ceased to entertain with his posts. He picked up fights with very little baiting but still was within the margin of trolldom and civility of this particular online forum. On top of that he used to join rides and post rides which is another productive thing which previous trolls failed to exhibit (I think) My humble opinion is just to ignore him and his outburst and approach this scenario with libertarian dogma this community has adopted on every other issues. Post and let post. And intervene only when he crosses the limit, which is pretty wide extreme for us here with our rhino skin genes. The beauty of OR is the no holds barred pure beauty of evil obnoxious dark borderline unacceptable yet funny stuff coming from most people without being filtered or hindered. No baby sitting, and no ranking, no authority figure made this a riding community rather than a club. Problem with the new bobs (possible aka ohio) was he thought there was some kinda "click". He failed to understand the sarcasm and long back stories behind most of the comments made here. For sure that would make them feel like an outsider because of not getting the jokes. Just let him fuss a bit and just laugh at the fiasco and brush it off. The soon he understands there is no "click" here and literally every one shows tough love for others here the better he fits in. Trust me Winter is coming we gonna miss them folks . PS: Just ignore this wall of txt and ignore me and forget I even posted this , gonna go hide in my empty dark corner and will just relegate myself to post in rides and events only as I have done for all these years.

  10. Hello, my name is Kyle and i just recently purchased my first motorcycle after wanting to for the last 20 years. It was part of my list of things that i have always wanted to do which I promised myself I would complete while i am still semi-young. I have a 2010 Harley Davidson Sportster XL883N Iron and it has a bunch of extras. I have always beena bit of a thrill seeker and really mechanically inclined so after working on cars i hope i have an enjoyable experience. I am currently in the process of installing new floorboards, seat, highway bar, usb ports etc so a few extras to keep me busy.. looking for a few cool cats, sorry, to ride with while getting acquained with my new woman. anyone interested let me know! i kind of have a spontaneous sense of humor and it can be crude sometimes but its all part of the fun. i would love some good company, and i dont care what you ride, as long as you can keep up.

  11. The ad that states she wants to make those at the top pay their fair share of taxes then penalize companies who move operation over seas. Is it one topic or two.. I get furious every time I hear this ad. Define fair share you misleading, propaganda spewing, ignorance catering, vote snatching bitch. Tell me exactly what taxes they are not paying because I want to know!? What loop holes are the ultra rich or profitable companies taking advantage of? Why should companies or people pay a higher percentage then someone who pays nothing or a tiny %! You want to tax the profitable more yet are upset they move overseas.

  12. The other dodge was my wife's cousin, Roger Reuse, car number 74 Roger normally races late model race cars all over the south. They are from Birmingham Alabama, This year, that second car on paper was owned / leased to Mike Harmon racing. They were still out there racing, having fun, but no way do they have deep enough pockets to get a top 5 or top 10 against the Hendick's, elliot's and Penske's. race team. A four year old Dodge is affordable enough to get you in the game at a kinda high level.

I'm glad we got to do the WV ride before you got dealt the shitty cards. If you need any help because of the logistics of being laid up don't hesitate to call or text.

  25. FFS stop believing the first article you click on, click a few more and find the whole truth. It's the internet, it is full of shit and when you parrot it then you are full of shit. A US gold medal winner also gets 25K cash from the US Olympic Committee. That is what the taxes are for.

  28. Anyone else see the article that said each Gold medal winner will be responsible for $9,900 in taxes for each gold medal they won at the games? I understand some of these athletes are millionaires but there are many that are not... @Gump I think the rich people should have to pay for this!

  29. @Idiot I'm not necessarily espousing Clarke's rhetoric, merely quoting it. In truth, it's no more or less inflammatory than the rhetoric put out by BLM and other liberal media outlets. Does language like this lead to a more productive conversation about finding a solution? Don't know, but I'm in my mid-60s and I've seen the the cold war fear of nuclear destruction on my parents' faces as a kid in the 50s, race riots of the 60s, the peace protests during the 'Nam war era, the emergence and justification of rabid extremism in politics and religion, and we don't seem to have crawled very far out of the sewer yet.

  31. Speaking of a media circus, anyone see the editorial by Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke? Strong words from a public figure. Quoted: "The Milwaukee riots should be the last time the policies of liberal Democrats are held up as anything other than misery-inducing, divisive, exploitative and racist manipulation of the urban populations. Unfortunately they won’t. As Sheriff of Milwaukee County, I am furious that the progressive left has put my citizens in harm’s way and that I had to send my officers into cauldrons of anarchy and hatred that were created by the left. As an elected public servant I am livid that Milwaukee’s pathetic, kowtowing city officials and aldermen take this opportunity to abandon their citizens and preen before the Black Lives Matter-enabling media. As a leader who understands that freedom and earned success are the pathways out of the ghetto, I’m disappointed, too, in any Republican that feels they need to tiptoe around the patently obvious issue at-hand: we are folding our society of freedom ensured through law-and- order over to bullies of the left. The politicians and talking heads on both sides of the aisle who offer little resistance and total cowardice." "The failed progressive urban policy causes anger and resentment in people that simmers below the surface. The officer-involved-shooting was simply a catalyst that ignited the already volatile mixture of inescapable poverty, failing K-12 public schools, dysfunctional lifestyle choices like father absent homes, gang involvement, drug/alcohol abuse and massive unemployment. Here are the facts: Milwaukee is run by progressive Democrats. Their decades-long Democrat regime has done nothing to reduce these urban pathologies, in fact, their strategies have exacerbated the situation by expanding the welfare state. That things have not improved and in fact worsened in the American ghetto after eight years of Barack Obama is remarkable only to those who have not been paying attention to our nation’s cities." "There’s only one answer, which is for the citizens of America to expose and heap scorn on this lying and dangerous triad of big government, liberal mainstream media, and the lost souls of the urban ghettos both these institutions feed upon for their power. A self-examination and self-criticism by the underclass is in order as well - as is an admission by Progressive Democrats that they have failed Milwaukee would be the first step in reversing this urban decay and reversing the growth of the underclass and their accompanying cultural rot. What happened Saturday night and again Sunday night had little to do with police use of force – it was a collapse of the social order where tribal behavior leads to reacting to circumstances instead of waiting for facts to emerge. The law of the jungle replaced the rule of law in Milwaukee Saturday night over an armed career criminal suspect who confronted police. Four other people were murdered in Milwaukee in separate incidents before the cop shooting and no riots ensued." "The actions were the manifestation of a population with no hope, no stake in the American dream that could provide advancement and purpose and pride of self. They are the ones lied to, exploited by and ultimately manipulated by the Democrats who claim to care. They are victims of the left, but they are not without blame. It’s time for them to remember their own humanity, their own dignity, and to fight for that return to the American Dream that the left would withhold from them." http://www.thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/crime/291435-sheriff-david-clarke-liberal-politics-and-media-fueled-milwaukee Waiting for instructions from the electorate as to how much I need to send as reparation for being self-supporting and independent. And in case you hadn't noticed, our money isn't buying much in the way of quality roads. IJS...

To note: "It's sad because you know, this what happened because they not helping the black community. Like, you know, the rich people, they got all this money, and they not like trying to give us none." http://www.dailywire.com/news/8361/watch-rioter-tells-reporter-rich-people-they-got-chase-stephens

  43. I'd like mod status. I've spent...er wasted 5 years of my life on this board. I'm universally hated and reviled and mod superpowers would totally make up for my physical shortcomings and mental issues. I'm only just barely emotionally stable enough to function in society and I masturbate almost compulsively. This should be a no-brainer.
