Done with the ortho. No surgery! He said with where the brake is that it will heal stronger than before. Apparently I stuck at reading xrays and it's only broken at one end.4 points

So I've been wanting to make this trip all summer and yesterday I finally got to do it. @thompsonian, his uncle, and I all left yesterday morning from Parkersburg to make an epic one day loop through some West Virginia mountains.Weather was perfect, low traffic, and no phone signal. Couldn't ask for more. My total mileage for the trip was 427 miles, but they were awesome miles. Here are some pics from the trip.3 points

Now that things have calmed down and I'm getting back to normal, I would like to thank everyone that helped me pack up or made sure we had everything covered. Situations like this really make me happy that I have a track family.2 points

Okay guys... mother nature is a bear and is forcing my hand. We will have to POSTPONE UNTIL SUNDAY SEPT. 11, 2016. Thunderstorms are up to about 60% from 2-6 and that's just no fun and would be a complete drag. Plus Sunday looks fantastic. All the details remain the same, except the date. I've also worked my schedule around to also still be able to attend when I didn't think I was going to be able too.2 points

Just headache but that's going away. I'm sure I had a concussion. Ryan or Jeff may be able to fill in anything odd from after the crash.2 points

unfortunately it looks like it, plus very muggy and cloudy plus starting to rain right in the middle of the ride not even towards end. Compared to that sunday looks like wonderland with 77 and sunny and no humidity.2 points

Not to shit in the cereal, but chances of early afternoon rain have been steadily increasing the last couple days....so, Sunday just might end up working out better2 points

Other than the couple red flags and injuries.....it was a great 3 days at Mid-O! The new, extended, patchwork in the keyhole was messing with me. It is smooth and you can run right across it with very little issue, but I was accustom to using it as a guide to my inside apex marker. If you stay inside the patchwork now, it results in an early 2nd apex and holding a constant radius for too long, late throttle pickup and losing drive down the back straight. Have to work on getting over the mental hurdle of rolling over it at pace. Tons of bike video from Tuesday and Wednesday.....some off-bike of groups circulating from Monday as well (hopefully it turned out OK). Will get a couple more clips uploaded tonight. For now, we have TimTheAzn killing it in his 2nd intermediate session....6th of the day Tuesday. We discussed a couple things , but overall one giant: Cannot wait to get back out there.2 points

In the Month of June it's hard for me to get extra one day vacation days, full weeks are easier for me to get which are Monday to Sunday. That's why going early works better for me. Weekly vacations take priority over daily's when they approve them(regardless of senority) and everyone wants the summer months off. Plus that will be my third of my 5 weeks I'll get off next year, gotta save some for the fall.1 point

Just in case you haven't heard, @DerekClouser moved the Epic ride to the rain date, so we will be meeting this SUNDAY at the NEO meet spot in Wooster. Time is still the same, meet at 7:00am and kickstands up at 7:30am. Excited to see everyone!1 point

Good call Derek. And being on 9/11, it would make for some cool photog if everyone wore something in remembrance and we memorialize the ride.1 point

Awesome, good call Derek. I will be riding tomorrow/Saturday as well. I took this weekends off trading for straight 22 working days ahead. Gonna ride 22 hrs to make up for it1 point

You damn lucky punks literally zero miles of "non twisty" roads in that loop. Its almost like you live in a playboy mansion of twisty roads. and here we have to ride for at least an hour to get to some good stuff, ( well I shouldn't complaint, I super slabbed for 3-4 hours to get to some fun roads a year ago. ) ps: I simply love that red fjr, looks so cleeean1 point

I just bought a pair of PR4, on one of the 919. Running stock 36f and 42r to start. Seems acceptable. Thinking that would be harsh on a Dunlop rear. Might lower the pressure in the rear a bit. Running RoadSmart II on the other 919, at 36f 36r. Might raise the pressure in the rear a bit. The 42r is stock with two passenger. Pretty much ok to drop up to 15-25% of that pressure, and be correct for single rider. But I'd stay a bit on the high side of the choice of pressures. Not using anything else other than stock 36psi for the front tire from now on. 425+lb bike w/ 170lb rider - 120/70-17 - 180/55-171 point
