Great ride guys! Sorry to hear about the off Nivin. My wife works nights and can relate, all to well, to trading sleep for fun. I have to be honest, when you post that you're foregoing sleep to ride, I worry about you. Imagine we all do. Anyway, glad you're ok brother. Ride was a blast. The more I get comfortable on the FJR, the more I realize you guys on legitimate sport bikes are slow4 points

That sucks, doc but looks mostly cosmetic. Fix her up and ride again! had a great time as usual with you OR Bubby's. Nice to put more faces with the new names. Really great turn out and fantastic route. I'm going to have to start riding with the old guys though because Jacob's lack of stops has kicked my ass and damn this fat kid is hungry! 392 miles! Great day!2 points

Sorry to hear doc. Hope all heals well. About 250 miles for me. Great pace...even did some serious air over the jump (I believe it was 676?).2 points

Glad to see you're ok Doc. Bikes can be replaced, people can't. Back in the big burg of Belpre. Great meeting all the new faces today. Thanks for letting me tag along in the back of the group. Hope i didn't hold everyone up too much. Look forward to riding with you guys again.2 points

1. Definitely need to get this suspension figured out. The fork seals and get rid of this heavily sprung rear shock. 2. Throw some tires on that I actually trust. 3. Get out and ride the streets more. Not making excuses. Ourgreatest fear is coming to fruition, Tonik now has a sporty bike and is learning how to ride it. Great ride today fellas. Thanks for the tow Jim/Tim it was fantastic pace. Still hate blind rises though. Nivin I'm glad to hear you are ok.1 point

Your profile says NEO. So depending where in NEO I would suggest you buy them as mentioned above and have them mounted at @whaler 's in Medina.1 point

I have 2 left from a pack of copper crush washers I got at Jeg's. Earl's is the brand and they're 10 x 15 x 1.5. PM me your address and I'll put them in the mail Monday if you want them.1 point

Dennis Kirk has a bag of 10 for less than a small value meal. They work great and fit as they should. I have sourced from auto stores and they are not exactly the correct size and won't fit into the machines recess on the master cylinder or some calipers. The auto store sealing washers have the correct ID, but OD is usually a little larger. I have had success with buying the multi pack which will give you two that are 10mm ID x 13mm OD. The typical Japanese supplied washers will be 10mm x 12mm. The larger OD will seal, but may not if you have a machined recess on the master or caliper. The outer sealing washer will be fine if larger, as it only needs to mate the bolt flange and banjo. Also it is a sealing washer not a crush washer. Crush washers do not typically have the strength to seal hydraulic pressure.1 point

Ohfercryingoutloud Tonik, stop fucking with the guy. He's right about the ones supplied to Kawasaki having to meet a certain spec and the NAPA ones maybe, maybe not, but we aren't talking about a fuel nozzle for a rocket motor here. It's a loop of metal the crushes to form a seal. I've used both OEM and off the shelf from the parts store. If you install it and tighten it properly and it doesn't leak once you get it all bled out and apply full pressure, then it'll be fine. It's not something that will develope a leak over time, in my experience. It'll either work right off or it won't. The question should really be - are you willing to risk additional down time if the cheap substitute fails on installation?1 point
