I bought a bicycle! I know it’s nothing compared to the bikes you guys got, but I haven’t owned a bike since I was a kid. My fiancé and I decided to buy cheap Walmart bikes, see how much we ride, then if we see we’re enjoying it, we will buy more quality bicycles. I got a 700c hybrid and she got a cruiser.
Rode the bike the cardiologist restricted 20 miles and put the Shimano cleats on my new Sidi Genius 7 Mega shoes. I keep saying I've turned the page on the 20 mile limitation, but it's hard, before the HA I rode 700 miles the month of June 2017. I have said it many times and it's true, if you asked me to go on a 20 mile ride I wouldn't even get dressed to go for a 20 mile ride. Got to turn the page..... glad to be alive and able to ride!
Then do what you must to collect them and exit the house? The goal is not saving the house. The goal is exiting the scenario with minimal loss of life. What happens to your family when you get shot trying to hunt down an anknown enemy? Now they are 100% defenseless because the only person with a "plan" is now dead. You have zero idea how many, what they are armed with and how serious the threat happens to be. Looking for the baddies doesn't make sense from a tactical perspective.
This goes to the actual preparedness of your family in case of an emergency. Figuring it out beforehand is what saves lives. Playing "John Rambo" when actual lives are on the line is ignorant.
This answers my question on if ill ever give CL another go now that they are charging. If they charge and weed out the BS spam and BOTS I'd give them a go. Hearing this, fuck them and their $5.

Honestly, she should take the beginners course offered by either BMV or MSF.
They will teach her EVERYTHING.... And provide the bike. If she hates it you are out less than $100. No bike to purchase, no insurance to worry about etc... If she loves it let her pick her first bike.
I took the course and it was less stressful than having my hubby try to teach me. And, it kept us from fighting... I had no bad habits to break and I took my test during the class, no separate fees for a test or worries about setting up a time. She stills a temp. permit before taking the class or you teaching her.
A good first bike is a ninja 250 after she learns to ride.
