  1. That prior post was my first post from a phone. I don't like doing that at all. This may have to wait until I get back to work next Monday. Unless one of you guys can force me to reply. If I'm getting close to a ban make it for the next week. See this over moderating job is easy.
  2. I was working on it. Was well set up for it but it never got to play out. It appears that I got here after the aggravation began, I was only signed in one day from a long layoff. This site has been over moderated before it will survive this current assault.
  3. I find it interesting that the majority of popular contributors are moderators. It's like you guys enjoy the nanny state.
  4. Moss was on the same side of the street as McDonalds in one of the old Spitzer buildings.
  5. This new place, is it where Moss's used to be after their move? I think it is the new Unicorn North.
  6. There is no accusing, there is only fact.
  7. Son of a bitch, I opened myself up for that burn. Can I get some aloe?
  8. Hasn't Pauly promised to keep his over moderating skills in the fagity bicycling section of the neighborhood?
  9. Mach Retard for a user name, Genius, why didn't I think of it? Just need to keep this right here.
  10. I hate these pulled posts from an existing thread. They are taken out of content and leave both threads lacking a flow that can be logically followed. Over moderators to the rescue again when it's not needed. Since we are here. I have no idea who this OhiO guy is but I keep hearing people saying that he has participated in the past and has even rode with them. Can someone refresh this old mans memory, have I met him? I didn't see him do anything that required banning but there could have been behind the scenes things going on that I don't know about but my instinct tells me that it's just..... Over moderating!
  11. Hey motherfucker did you just call me unstable? Because that's what I heard.
  12. I thought you knew that by the IP address. Bar thing downtown? No I do not know of it. I'm really close to Wolfies. Do you work year round or have you started back already?
  13. You know that was me being a dick making you earn your over moderator pay?
  14. An SV1000 is hardly a liter bike. For a bike to be a proper liter bike it has to be an I4, otherwise it's just too slow and not scary. I don't want to hear about no damn big bore I4 out of your mouth either.
  15. I do not, repeat do not want to be a moderator. I would never do anything except post in locked threads that one of the over moderators has locked because I would never lock a thread.
  16. It's a trap. Who in their right mind would want that thankless job. Plus I hear that the boss is an asshole and impossible to work for.
  17. Don't worry he has more floating around.
  18. Eat shit all you bitches, I'm going to be a moderator, Pauly promised.
  19. It's getting closer to being done. I have only rode one time this year and am starting to see the signs of a mental breakdown. This keeps up and I will be back posting stupid shit all the time. To make things worse I'm going out of town from Tuesday next week until the following Monday so it's going to be even longer until I can ride again.
  20. I tried to allude to this earlier by trolling but I guess it was too subtle. I am probably the biggest whining pussy of the group that doesn't like to ride with new people unless their skills and or level headedness can be verified and attested to.
  21. We might could make it to an explanation but the stupid fucking over moderators keep locking threads just when the dialog gets to the good stuff.
  22. I don't think any thread should be locked ever. Maybe move it to Ranting and Raving but don't lock them. If the new crop of moderators need to lock threads and continue to post in them I want moderator power. I promise to behave myself, honest.
  23. I appreciate the kind words @NinjaDocif I remember correctly your bike had some damage to it from your first group ride yet you were back out there trying again. That willingness will always be met with help as long as there is potential, some people shouldn't ride, and you weren't one of them. @jschaf is correct about the usual pace being intermediate trackday without the straights speeds. Every one of the guys that ride in the faster group is capable of leading the group and keeping everyone entertained and safe. They all are approachable and willing to help other riders with tips or techniques, some are even good at it. Speed is not the ultimate goal of a ride, having fun is. The slowest guy in the slow group and the fastest guy in the fast group should be having the same amount of fun or everyone is doing it wrong. Riding within your acquired skillset at an entertaining pace shouldn't put you or others in danger. Those skills come from several sources and take several years plus not all results are equal. Being one of the fast guys doesn't give you any virtue over anyone else. You can be fast and be an asshole so being fast isn't something that makes you better than others at all things in life. One of the guys that currently rides with the fast group was asked to leave one of these rides years ago because he didn't belong riding with the group he had chosen. If the group is doing its job this is how it should be. I hope he can retell the story but my take on it is that he was unsafe for others around him and to himself. That got fixed with time and him listening to others with more experience that were willing to help him. This ride will have the same opportunities for everyone to have fun and learn from others. I can guarantee that the fast group won't be going Mach Retard by their estimations even though it may seem that way to the less experienced riders. My recollection of the Mach Retard ride is similar to @jschaf in that it isn't how you ride in groups but rather on your own when you know that it isn't how you are supposed to ride on the streets. I went out one day on my own riding fast to clear my head and accidently ran across MidgetTodd and Hutch at a gas stop along with another rider. I told them clearly that they could ride with me but it wouldn't be a group ride and that they would be on their own. Long story short the guy that was riding with them wrecked and in some part I felt at fault because I knew better. Group rides have rules for a reason yet they can still be fun. I do ride with the fast group most of the time but by no means am the fastest rider. I have had a rider on this forum lose me so badly in nine miles that he was waiting for me with his helmet and gloves off when I finally made it to the stop. On our return trip down that road he was passed by an even faster rider. No matter how fast you are there is always someone faster which leads back to speed not being the ultimate goal or necessary for a good time. This clique thing is perplexing to me, having rode with and tried to help as many riders here that I can while also knowing many other riders that do the same thing I find the accusation without merit.
  24. I am here to make a formal complaint about the jack booted thugs mocking the rest of us by posting in locked threads. This torture must cease and desist or you will drive the caring and kind members of this community away. What's wrong with a little Ranting and Raving. This is not my first complaint regarding this matter only the names of the over moderators have changed. What can we be offended by today people?
