I understand that it's easy to confuse a weak mind; I'm starting to have my doubts about anyone’s ability to be much dumber than you. There is nothing wrong with lacking knowledge about a subject; everyone has a deficiency in at least a few subjects. Where your failure lies in is a delusion of having knowledge that doesn't exist. Knowing how your stated "information" of other people’s opinions are formed by flawed information, how the information is reported and the history of the changes in that reporting over time only proves the depths of your ignorance. This is compounded by your need to spew it out as fact by some weird compulsion to show you have something to add. I wouldn't expect a mental midget like you to have the ability to glean the correct information let alone retain it. This is why you feel the need to put out others opinions as information because you have no knowledge base to draw from. You might have been okay with using others opinions to make a point until you decided to muddy the water with information that wasn't relevant to the subject matter. It's hard to take someone’s ramblings serious when they start to throw more information into the conversation that doesn't apply. I guess "baffle them with bullshit" applies in your circles but around here it doesn't fly. What’s really glairing about your inability to speak on the subject is that you don’t have a clue about why you are so wrong, it’s sad. I’m certain that taking the time to educate you would be a waste of everyone’s time and unlike you I’m not compelled to bring in information that adds no value to the conversation. While this conversation between us doesn’t add value to what was being discussed at least I’ve made an attempt to keep erroneous information from poisoning the landscape. Beating down a blow hard is a bonus.

I was flabbergasted by the ignorance of your post and had a hard time trying to piece it together into something coherent that would follow any logic or conclusion. The conflicting statements started my doubt that you were driving at a point with any thought process other than to hear yourself speak. Then you use poor information to further your points that has been disproven when looked at by people who actually have knowledge of the subject. There are no hard numbers to draw any conclusions from because they all lack factual information. Linking to opposing conclusions drawn from bad numbers proves nothing other than that there are two different opinions which was something you stated that you were trying to remove from the discussion. Showing your lack of knowledge of the subject matter even more you bring in another breed of dog into the discussion that shares no common traits with the breed at hand other than the fact that they are both dogs just like any other breed you could have included.

Proof that identification from witnesses is unreliable and that the statistics are meaningless. We started out with a pit bull and ended up with a mutt in this case. The owner of the dog is most likely wrong about what mix he has to further the confusion.

My point was the assumption that it is bad owners that make bad dogs while that is most certainly one of the ways to end up with a bad dog it isn't the only one. Genetics from poor breeding lead to poor dogs regardless of good or bad owners with or without proper training. Bad dogs can be managed but they are not usually stable social dogs. You are making a generalization that doesn't include all of us. Even dogs used for fighting were kept as ideal family pets. Don’t these two quotes cancel each other out? Using the C.D.C. numbers or any other numbers for bite statistics is unreliable because identifying a pit bull is very unreliable. Believing in bad statistics and using then in a debate leads to poor conclusions. Does it matter the actual volume of dogs when using statistics or just the numbers? Putting pit bulls and rottweilers into the same category is proof that people don’t understand the subject matter.

I wouldn't hang my hat on this as a point for your side in an argument it is factually wrong.

While I would like to perpetuate this thought because it would be a nice place to defend from my over 30 years experience with pit bulls has shown otherwise. Now that the dog is no longer bred for its intent people have been free to breed them to fit what their intent is. Some people have purposely tried to breed dogs that are aggressive when in the past they would have been culled out as a liability. People are getting dogs that aren't stable without knowing what they are in for, not all dogs are good dogs and that statement can be true for all breeds. A few decades ago your statement might have been true, regretfully now not so much. Conflicting statement and thought process. Your post was correct in almost every aspect. Staffordshire bull terriers are referred to as nanny dogs.

You gotta watch them chows they bite.

It is not the nature of a Pit Bull to bite a human...Very often a mutt or mix is mis-identified as a Pit Bull by the owner, witnesses and victims....

Old news, it was a bullshit law and has been repealed because it was bullshit.

Looks like not having a bike is expensive.

Trying to understand under what litmus test we should be subject to that deems us worthy? Your version might not be the same as mine. I hate the Amish for using our roads and not paying gas taxes that pay for them, therefore I find them unworthy of freedom.

Yes, I am aware of that law and thought it was a stupid fucking law as well. More laws we don't need. I think we should make a law that would forbid any business executive from making any anti gay statements. The gays are just innocent people trying to live their lives.
-
Fill in the blank for the next place to ban free speech or make a law banning it. KKK rally, NAACP rally, Republican convention, Democrat convention, Gay pride parade, Christian candle light vigil, etc... All of these people are innocent in their minds as well. I reserve the right to protest any and all of them, with repercussions for my actions. Those repercussions shouldn't be at the hands of government. Much like free enterprise deciding the fate of business government shouldn't be picking winners and losers. I don't need "you" or the government to decide my values or who is innocent or guilty by moral standards. This is simplified but I see no need for additional laws. People have died, served and sacrificed to protect their right. Just because it is an affront to my senses doesn’t mean I get to change the rules to fit my senses. In most cases this country is divided in half on issues, not allowing discourse shows you don't have a firm grasp on your reality or have the means to defend it.

Stupid fucking law.

Look at the post whore, starting her own thread with a funny picture that belongs in the funny picture thread.

I heard he took big losses and will not be paying taxes for the next five years. I don't think he is qualified to be president if he can't run a business any better than that. Trying to equate a business owner’s tax liability to personal employee taxes makes the point of debate pointless.

They should make violence illegal, that would fix it.

It is a rare occasion when hard braking is needed on group rides. I will touch my brakes as a preset when riding a fast pace in case I need them when riding along with experienced people I trust at an accelerated pace. I have boiled off my brakes trying to keep up with faster people at a way too fast stupid pace that doesn't belong on the street or around a group ride. I have never had an accident nor had one of the experienced guys go down at that pace. It seems the accidents occur with people going too fast for their skill set and not understanding that their survival instincts are telling them to do the wrong things. The pace has little to do in these cases because it boils down to the disparity of skill among the riders. I can't recommend a track day enough to people, not because it will make them faster but because it will make them safer. I was having just as much fun going slower before I had any track time as I do now but wasn't as safe so speed is not the end all of having fun. The pace works out great if you ride around others of the same skills. I like to help people out when doing group rides which means riding with people that have less experience. If you don’t have someone else in the group that is willing to lead and that knows the route it’s hard to help others because you are leading. I have seen disastrous results from passing roads and stopping to turn around to make a turn. If I am leading I try to make sure I know the route. I’ve had lots of fun on group rides but am getting discouraged with the accidents. Riding with only experienced riders would probably change this but I never would have known the roads or gotten the experience I have now if it hadn’t been for more experienced riders taking the time to ride with me.

I would have prefered to ride sweep on a group ride with new people that way I can evaluate and offer help but Jinx rides too fast up front so I thought I could keep things under control better from the front. Guess I was wrong, I think Jinx needs to quit riding it would be best for all involved except him, this way he gets to sell more bikes to the crashers

What a crazy string of events, I'm not sure what to think about it or how to prevent them. We had another guy go down real close to where these guys went down on the first ride out this year. I know anyone of us could go down at any time but I'm starting to think I should only ride with people that I have ridden with in the past. I try to give them a pre ride prep about how things are going to go and what to expect, maybe when I tell them the ride mood and atmosphere will change once we get south of 62 puts too much pressure on them. The pace in the curves quickens but we slow down to 70 between them so we never get too far ahead plus we always wait. The surviving riders rode 83 to 541 to 60 back to 83 we had a Busa with us but it wasn't us that far south. I thought I remembered TigerDoug from a few years ago but he says no it wasn't him. He is a very good rider and had no problem keeping up with the pace; I would suggest he look into C.O.R.E. if he wants to do some longer group rides. He is geared up for distance and went out farther once our group decided it was time to go home.

But you have to get back home so that makes it two hours of boring if you want a good ride.

Metal printing has been around for almost as long as plastic printing, currently you have to add a sintering process to the steps. I would imagine that having a furnace in space isn't practical at this time so the process will need to change. The weight sent to space would be the same it's the volume that offers the benefit.

New rear tire that only had 90 miles on it before today. I didn't look too hard trying to find it, just put bike in the garage after a long day. Depending on where it is I will hopefully be able to plug it.
