I have owned a Ninja 250 and a Busa plus several others in between. I never felt inadequate on the 250. If you are sure of what you will be using it for then you are right on track with the 750 and smaller wouldn't hurt either. I ride a 250 scooter most of the time and can't find anything it won't do that a big cruiser can do. Yes, I have even owned a Road King Classic that I don’t miss at all, the scooter is shit tons more fun and practical.

First impression from the options you presented and the information given I thought you should go with M&P .40, that was until I saw that your "stockpile" of ammo was only 1K. (One weekend class.) That changes things, still using your initial post parameters I say M&P 9mm. If you are looking at this style of handgun though, as others have suggested, a Glock is an excellent choice. If you have some sort of bias against it I understand some peoples unwillingness to change their minds, you don't know what you don't know. If this style of handgun is an interest of yours I would suggest getting the Glock first because you will end up with one sooner or later and be pissed at yourself for wasting money on the others. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Much better clarification. Selling of alcohol is covered by class D permits; there are sub sets of D permits. We have covered open carry and class D carrying is there anything else that needs to be cleared up? I felt that you were making blanket statements as absolutes that needed to be addressed. If you intend to instruct expect these questions to come up. This could have been misunderstood without clearing things up.

When did this site quit being over moderated to the point of allowing this discussion to carry on outside of Ranting and Raving? We have had discussions on this subject in the past but it gets moved out of sight. Is this a change in management policy or the lack of certain moderators who had strong opinions on the subject? People who produce media type video are doing it to drive views to sell advertising. They have little integrity or obligation to the truth. To show all of the content that leads up to the snip-it shown would make what is shown not quite so sensational. If you choose to be led around by media hype to form your opinion on things your opinion has little integrity in my book. I have sought out or accidently seen the full versions of the snip-its shown and come to the conclusion that there are some justified actions, some accidents, some officer discretion calls and some absolute abuse of power. Just like the judgment of our everyday actions would look like. What most of us do for a living doesn’t have the ramifications on others that LEO mistakes can have so I can see my way clear to a higher standard for them. To state that they aren’t scrutinized is ignorant and uninformed.
