Sometimes you can plug the drive into your usb port via an adapter and grab what you need off of it, as long as it didn't have a mechanical failure. If it had mechanical short it sending it somewhere you are SOL. Back up your data!!! I external HD is cheap these days.

Jesse they to wear out but I think that is mostly because people do not keep their chain in spec ie tightness and such. Ryan that's awesome I need to get mine into a shop to get the fork oil changed...I don't know how to do it and am afraid to attempt it without someone looking over my shoulder. I also need to flush my coolant and change the oil adjust the chain etc before riding season comes around.

I'm sure it serves its purpose well but it is ugly Ben. If you're doing long rides being comfortable is a top priority though.

I haven't had a fast car in a while like since 02, bought a bike in 07 and haven't looked back. I'm thinking I'm going to get a VFR either next year or sometime over the winter. I won't say I won't own a fast car again but I doubt I'd mod it much as they are pretty decent from the factory these days.

You sure there isn't a bolt holding it in towards the rear? I know the fords used to use those keys but also had damn nut on the back of them in some models. That's the only thing I could think that is keeping it in.

I didn't glue mine on I cut the old ones off then lightly coated the new ones with hairspray and slipped them on.

I'd think the issue with buying used is finding a reputable person and not buying a fake. I want a nice watch so bad but am not about to drop a few K on one personally.

My insurance is like $380 a year for full coverage for a 600CC supersport....dropping it for the winter would really not help me in savings.
