  1. Yes it does ask WEASE on here. Or look at his Formula in his signature. Audi guy Zaino guuy says only alcohol will remove zaino. But I still use z7 when washing my car.
  2. Just make sure that you wash the cars the first time with Dawn before trying to apply Zaino that first time.
  3. Umm if you got the part new from any parts store or dealer it is warrantied for a little while. Take it back to the place you bought it and get another one.
  4. Warped rotors maybe? It is a GM afterall.
  5. Columbus Joint and Clutch did mine on my old stock steely, and I had no problems with it.
  6. Auto Zone rents them.
  7. The fans will not come on until the engine is heated up. You need to let it run and heat up, then the fans should come on. If they don't then you might want to check the thermostatic switch.

    Civic's

Ben I corrected your post there were also Coupe EX from 92--95 I should know I owned one. smile.gif
  11. To add to this thread I had some infinity's in my civic when I had it and they really sucked the big fat one. They constantly popped and made random noises on me and I know they were installed right. I even got another pair and the same thing happened, I then put in some Audio Art components and I had no issues at all. Infinity has not in the least impressed me at all. Doug you can get a descent sub, enclousure, and amp for a good deal if you just look. And one in a nice sealed box in the corner of your trunk won't take up much space at all. smile.gif I still don't consider MTX amps at all excellent, this is however my opinion. smile.gif I always had Eclipse(good sound quality not so powerful) Memphis(great power and sound), and Audio Art(Takes a beating and keeps on ticking) For some reason they stopped making some of their best amps, the one I had in my civic was pushing two DVC American Bass subs @ 1.5ohm mono It got hot but never cut out on me, that thing was a tank. And it HIT HARD!
  12. I wouldn't consider MTX excellent by any means. They make entry level subs and amps IMO mediocore at best. Excellent is something like JL, Audio Art, American Bass, Eclipse, etc..
  13. Or you could go the el cheapo route and get a 1K ohm resistor (I believe) and put it in there which would cost like 5 cents instead of $30. Also mine is not eliminated and hardly ever works....I dont think most of them do, and how many guys who drive these keep them below 2500 anyway?
  14. No one ever said Howard was the smartest hick from West Virginia. No he did not wreck his car he isn't THAT dumb. smile.gif
  15. EAT SHIT That is because you drunken fools still eat there when there is nothing else open. tongue.gif
  16. I have never seen these tests and like I said I have no issues with their filters and will continue to use them until one fails on me. I think maybe you guys got some bad production runs, I fail to see how all their filters are crap when they are still in business. Something tells me that they would be out if this was the case.
  17. I still fail to see where you are getting your information from. Like I said most of my family has used them for years and we never had any issues with them much less losing an engine to one. Something tells me that they would be out of business if this was the case that their filters caused those blow ups.
  18. jesus christ. NEVER EVER NEVER put a FRAM filter on your car. They are ABSOLUTE shit, I know 3 people who have had engine falures related to fram filters.</font>Hmm that is funny all I have used is FRAM filters and not one problem with any of the 6 cars I have owned. Methinks that is some old wives tale that circumferenced the internet many times over.
  19. Nope was an Lexus IS 300 forum. I remember that thread.
  20. I have to remove the driver side axle on my sentra because of the way it is in there. On the pass side you just pop it out and let it lay. And I don't mess with the axle nuts those things don't just pop loose. I just take apart the suspension. If I did do dual exhaust on my car I think I would make it so that I don't have to remove it to get my tranny out. tongue.gif [ 19 November 2002, 01:18 PM: Message edited by: GRN96WS6 ]
  21. I don't have to do any of that in my rear wheel drive car. tongue.gif The sentra tranny is not hard to get out I took mine out myself and put it back in myself. All you need is a trusty jack and you are set. There are a lot of bots to relmove though and you need to remove both axles. If I was still out there I would offer a hand but I'm not so I can't. smile.gif It is not that hard though trust me.
  22. Sam(SamZman) uses it if he sees this I am sure he will comment on it.
  23. Well, i didn't dyno it, i just acquired it a few weeks ago, but the old man who owned it before me had it dynoed, and he said that he always ran the cheapie 87 gas, and when he dynoed it on 94 octane it went up to about 421...but of course he lost that dyno sheet...the only one i have says 410 on it. oh well, soon i will dyno it with headers w/o cats and see what kinda gain i get. Mark, btw, it's a '99 GTS.</font> Wait when did you go from a Vette to a Viper?
  24. They should not have to pull the motor to put heads n cam in it. The radiator will come out and the cam slides right in and the heads are removable without removing the motor. You could get AFR 195's and a CC306 but it would be a little more then $2500, they are probably porting your stock heads and putting in a CC306 cam. Definitely get the 306 cam regardless of the heads its a good package. A guy in our club has that cam and ported LT1 heads and put down 384RWHP.
