that vrod was actually not horrible except that the forward controls would drag if you tipped it over more than 5 degrees.   a really neat bike otherwise.

I briefly owned the Street Rod version of the V Rod.  It had a shorter wheelbase, mid controls, a higher seat, and Showa suspension.

The riding position felt pretty similar to a Street Triple...riding it felt like strapping 200 lbs of unnecessary steel to a ST.  The steering was sloooow, the brakes were garbage, and the power delivery was very peaky.  It did have good ground clearance & was reasonably planted in corners, but you had to pick your line early.

It was definitely designed by someone that had little experience with sporty motorcycles.

Sills is $20? I was quoted more than that when I took my GS wheel to them.. and that is where I bought the bike. I believe she quoted me $35.

They could have raised prices, but I've probably had them change 20 tires and it's always been $25 off the bike.

I should be able to do a ride during a weekend as long as it doesn't take forever. Got heated gear and shit.   Gixxus, you should get a diavel, it's the only cruiser like bike that is super comfy, light and fast as fuuuuuuck. Also cause I don't want to be the only moron who got suckered into buying a diavel

What kind of pace can that be ridden in tighter curves?

Can't deprive ourselves of one of the best mental health outlets during these stressful times. Plus it actually keeps you away from a lot of people!

Plenty of distance, gloves and a face shield...and a motorcycle is way faster than Corona virus.

I haven’t done anything to my bike or even rode it this year. Been being good and staying home. Done with that shit. Need to put the battery in her and change the oil and front pads.

Riding is 100% ok per Ohio's social distancing guidelines.

I really wanted to own one with active suspension, when ever I had rode rentals always been impressed by it. One of my biggest weakness/fear is uneven pavement or irregularities could never managed to pick speed or rhythm in there.

It took me a couple rides to get used to it.  Like if there were bumps before a corner I'd expect to feel the chassis get unsettled a bit before  I leaned it in. I'd see bumps and prepare for them....but the bike stays planted over bumps and through the corner.

The learning curve is short. I notice the difference when riding the N400.

Easiest miles I have ever done. The ride quality of that giant bike is unreal. I left my house at 7, took 77S to 800 in Urichsville to the river, and was parked at the Certified in St. Marys at 9:30. It just goes without so much as a wiggle or shimmy.

I've been super impressed by BMW's adaptive suspension.  It feels comfortable, sporty, and planted all at the same time.  It soaks up the bumps  then sticks like glue in corners...other bikes are usually one or the other or a compromise.  It's confidence inspiring and the lack of getting bounced around prevents fatigue.

I think they do have one. 2 doors but only 3 remotes for the car.  One is missing.  First thing I did was reset the codes and reprogrammed the remaining 3 openers. Thankfully genie has that as a feature on these models if you lose one.  And I reprogrammed the keypads with new passwords

Honestly, I think that is something that is supposed to be disclosed on the sales agreement.  ALL keys/openers are supposed to be turned over to the new owners.

Any access that is granted to the property should have been disclosed also.

I'd call your agent on those.

  9. When I moved into my old house, the neighbor came over and told me that the previous owners would cut their grass for them and they didn't even own a lawn mower.

I told them them that I don't even like cutting my own grass, so they should buy one or hire a lawn service.

Point = new owner, shit changes.

I'm more worried about the severe economic impact of the lock down than I am of the disease. My family is most likely going to be OK, but there are going to be many who are really going really impacted by this. The foreclosures, bankruptcies and business closures is going to be a severe drain on the economy for a long time.

Financial distress like bankruptcy is a major factor behind suicide.  If bankruptcies double or triple I wonder if the suicide rate would be impacted.  It's something else to factor into all this.
