  1. Here's a clean 2006 at a decent price http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/4599496387.html
  2. I like the 2010+ alot. Never ridden an earlier one.
  3. The description says 3 wheels, but the picture shows 4. Assuming the rest of the project is as well thought out...I'll pass on this one.
  4. Check ebay for the best price on a new bike then see if a local dealer will match it.
  5. Tell them what you think contactus@goodwill.org
  6. What bikes are you going to look for?
  7. First you said 40% now 35%. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?
  8. This is more accurate Than this By moving to Canada the'll avoid being "double taxed" on income generated outside the US.
  9. I was a machine gunner in the USMC. The first time we live fired a full auto weapon it was with a single round to get familiar with it's operation. Then 2 & 3 round bursts.
  10. I just need to get the waist reduced. I guess I could call a few tailors.
  11. The instructor did just about everything wrong according to the article I read.
  12. No. That is not accurate. Income from corporate operations are not tax as capital gains unless the operations happen to be related to investments or interest. Corporations do use loopholes to their advantage to shift income when possible. By definition, returns for shareholders are taxed as capital gains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_tax_in_the_United_States#Tax_rates Keep in mind that if capital gains were suddenly taxed at the income tax rate, the entire stock market would collapse. It would create the worst depression the world has ever seen.
  13. Who in NEO does alterations?
  14. Not sure what you are trying to say here. Capital gains for individuals are also taxed at a lower rate than income.
  15. If I could start over from scratch, I would have a 20-25% corporate tax rate with no further loopholes. I would also want a team of union busters dressed as Imperial Storm Troopers.
  16. I doubt that would satisfy the financial goals of their shareholders.
  17. BMW already has plenty of funky bike designs. I was happy to see them come out with the 1000cc I4.
  18. These are the base rates. Obviously, the effective rate can be different. Still a decent reference:
  19. The S1000R in white is on my short list.
  20. The SV was in great shape. I'll bet after he parts it, he'll have paid almost nothing for the peices he keeps.
  21. Let's say you were trying to stimulate the economy & create jobs in you country/state/county/etc. Would it make more sense to: 1. Create a business climate where the corporation will always pays their perceived fair share of taxes, or 2. Create a business climate where the corparation has a lower tax burden and is likely to remain profitable long term, then tax the employees to pay their fair share? Hell, I recently moved from Cuyahoga to Lorain county. One of the reasones was to avoid higher propetry, local, and sales tax. Cuyahoga has the highest sales tax in Ohio, Lorain has the lowest (btw, they are next to each other).
  22. Lots of Americans (let's call them democrats) have been screaming for corporations to pay more taxes and for CEO pay to be limited. All this will do is motivate corporations and talented CEOs to go elsewhere. Corporations have been doing the same thing between states for decades. Lots of companies choose to incorporate in Delaware for example. http://www.bizfilings.com/learn/incorporate-delaware-nevada.aspx Ohio on the other hand has some of the highest tax burden in the US (Income + property + sales tax + local tax), so why would a company choose to have operations in Ohio?
  23. I didn't have any emotional attachment the SV. I thought I would like it a lot more than I did, but it just wasn't the right bike for me. I will say that the revsions they made to the motor on the Gladius make it significantly better than on the SV.
