  1. I've been super impressed by BMW's adaptive suspension. It feels comfortable, sporty, and planted all at the same time. It soaks up the bumps then sticks like glue in corners...other bikes are usually one or the other or a compromise. It's confidence inspiring and the lack of getting bounced around prevents fatigue.
  2. Today I made a mockery of speed limits for about 350 miles.
  3. Honestly, I think that is something that is supposed to be disclosed on the sales agreement. ALL keys/openers are supposed to be turned over to the new owners. Any access that is granted to the property should have been disclosed also. I'd call your agent on those.
  4. I wouldn't do anything other than tell them what ever arrangement they had with the old owners ended when they moved. I wouldn't make it a confrontation because you're going to have to live next to them.
  5. When I moved into my old house, the neighbor came over and told me that the previous owners would cut their grass for them and they didn't even own a lawn mower. I told them them that I don't even like cutting my own grass, so they should buy one or hire a lawn service. Point = new owner, shit changes.
  6. Changed oil on the beemer today. It's ready for good weather, hopefully.
  7. Financial distress like bankruptcy is a major factor behind suicide. If bankruptcies double or triple I wonder if the suicide rate would be impacted. It's something else to factor into all this.
  8. Sold the Vulcan...finally. I'm done trying to like cruisers.
  9. Maybe a surgeon botched his operation intentionally? Or he had all his fat sucked out and will come back skinny Ina few weeks?
  10. Last year I took the Ninja 400 on a 3 day WV trip. It was super fun pacing @Pauly on the Hyper Duc. On tight technical roads I was absolutely having a blast riding that 400 at it's limits. But if he gapped me, I really couldn't reel him back in.
  11. This is true. But...I have sold a number of bikes on CL. PITA, yes. But for $5 you do get in front of a good number of actual buyers. Online options are few. FB Marketplace pretty limited, and you are subject to Facebook rules, they cancelled the add for my Vulcan twice because it "an inappropriate item to sell on Facebook."
  12. Post 2016, FOX is closer to reality. Before that, I would have said the opposite.
  13. If your point is that national cable news outlets suck, I'm on board. The thing that burns me up about CNN specifically is that it used to be a pretty reliable source. Now that Zucker runs it they are basically Democratic State Media. He's had a personal history (vendetta) with Trump long before he ran for office. CNN in 2001 vs CNN today = Olympic Wrestling vs WWE.
  14. CNN actually took a break from their Trump hate opinion pieces to cover this story. It even seems to be written without political bias, so you better watch it quick before CNN kills it. https://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2020/04/16/china-transparency-covid-19-spread-pkg-culver-lead-vpx.cnn
  15. Agree. If it was from a lab, that would be pretty terrible, but not as bad as trying to cover it up afterward.
  16. FWIW I know people love to bash Foxnews, and I've never read Foxnews articles until about 2 months ago. I've read CNN articles for a long time. Lately, I've been watching the Trump/Covid updates then compare the FOX/CNN articles vs what I saw with my own eyes. 9/10 times Fox has been more accurate. CNN posts headlines like "Trump Throws Presidential Tantrum During Corona Update" after refusing to air the actual press conference, where nothing like that actually occurred.
  17. Many nations would pull manufacturing out of China (this is already going to happen for medical supplies). Nations would also demand restitution, which of course China would refuse. International tensions would rise, China would likely drop their charade of "Communists playing Capitalist" and there would either be a cold war or an actual war.
  18. Just to be clear I'm not claiming the story is true, but it does seem to be worth investigating. I believe China is capable of letting a virus out in the wild, their lack of precise standards & quality in manufacturing is ingrained in their culture, unlike Japan or Korea. I also believe China is capable of this scale of cover up...but that doesn't mean this story is true. I believe this will be one of the items that is investigated in the upcoming WHO inquiry. Honestly if this story was true, anyone in China that could prove it is likely dead or imprisoned already. Edit.. It's also a strange coincidence that there is a Lab in Wuhan, near that particular wet market that just happens to research Corona Viruses.
  19. I'm hearing this more and more. Opinions? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/coronavirus-wuhan-lab-china-compete-us-sources
  20. It came with a solar cover. It's about 1600 gallons... figure I can dump a few 5 gallon buckets of hot water into it before I get in 😀
  21. Well, aren't you hotter than a goat's butt in a pepper patch
  22. I just ordered a 12 ft inflatable pool for my patio. That's where I"ll be drinking bourbon for the rest of this quarantine. Now to find some floating drink holders.
