  1. Fair question. I'm not opposed to electronics (I said the GPS-based race tech is stupid and I stand by that). I've owned 3 bikes with ABS. I like the simplicity of riding...just me and the road. I can ride as smoothly and quickly as I want without aides. I have fun every time I toss that little 400 into a corner, which is why I ride in the first place. If I bought something with cornering ABS and TC, chances are it would probably lure me into a faster pace, which is not a current goal of mine.
  2. That's a good friend right there 😂
  3. It's going to be a long winter. We just booked a trip to Mexico in Feb to escape for a bit.
  4. I could have paid cash for any motorcycle I wanted, and I did. I specifically wanted something light and maneuverable with no electronic aides. That is what seemed like the most 2 wheel fun for me. Is my Ninja 400 (non-ABS) an EGO bike 🙄 I mean I could have bought the H2 to be "safer," I just didn't want one.
  5. No. I'm saying it's more interesting when the best rider wins. It's less interesting when the best tech wins. I'd rather watch Moto3 than MotoGP. Now, if you put the MotoGP riders on the Moto3 bikes that would be some competitive, entertaining racing that wasn't "over" halfway through the first lap.
  6. So, the riders lack the skill to race their own motorcycle? That makes the GPS race tech sound even more stupid.
  7. I agree they're the best is the world. But, I'll bet they'll develop the TC profile to match Tony's throttle modulation. At that point, why even give the riders a throttle or a brake lever...I mean the GPS link already knows the throttle and braking points. The rider could just be leaning weight like the "monkey" in sidecar racing.
  8. Watching MotoGP a few years ago...they were talking about GPS linked traction & abs profiles for each corner. I think that stuff is stupid as fuck. The bike can do things the rider just can't. IMO, it takes away from the competition and necessary skill. It's not even tech that has any sort of benefit for production bikes.
  9. Idk. I specifically bought a bike with no rider aids. It's fun for me. In racing, I think the over the top rider aids like gps-linked fueling and braking profiles for each corner are kind of ridiculous. There's a balance obviously, but I'd rather see the best rider win than see the best tech win. IMO, the racing in Moto 2 & 3 is usually better than MotoGP, partly because the tech advantage is minimized.
  10. 👍 I also considered a CZ 457, but it's new model and some seem to have some teething and accuracy issues. I'm sure CZ will make them right....but for now the 455 platform is proven, well sorted, and accurate.
  11. Yes, that is going to happen. I haven't looked into a trust yet. I like the CZ suppressor, but open to other options https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-rimfire/
  12. I know you are all dying to know what I wound up buying. I got the CZ 455 .22LR Tacticool Suppressor Ready. Costs more than something like a Savage or Ruger rimfire , but more accurate and the build quality is on another level. Stock, these are capable of shooting 1 MOA or slightly better with good ammo, probably closer to 1.5 MOA with cheap bulk ammo, which is fantastic for a .22. A stock 10/22 is typically in the 2-4 MOA range.
  13. I have a NIB Buell 1125R Maisto model you can have.
  14. It's not just Kent. There are many factions of people that hate Morrissey, quite a few seem to people that know him personally & professionally 🤣 https://music.avclub.com/viva-hate-15-anti-morrissey-songs-1798222021 cream of the crop right here
  15. If it wasn't for the Dave Chappelle Show, I probably never would have heard of them.
  16. I have an XDS 45 that is eligible for friend prices.
  17. That's why I bought the N400. Not the most capable bike I've owned, but it just might be the most fun.
  18. Ninja 400 is as capable as the RC390, but it won't blow up like the KTM.
  19. The more I look into it I'm leaning towards a full target model. The Ruger Precision Rimfire & the Savage B22 Precision can both be had around $400. They both have crisp adjustable triggers and are both MOA bolt rimfires out of the box. I don't think I could build a comparable 10/22 anywhere near that price. Plus I'll still have the 10/22 and 15-22 for plinking abuse.
  20. Thought about that, but for the price of the mods I can probably get a bolt gun that'll be more accurate.
  21. I've hit a couple bulls eyes Some .22s are capable of hitting a golf ball at 150 yards...some aren't regardless of the shooter.
  22. What's the most accurate .22 rifle around $5-600? I have a 10/22 and a 15-22 that are fun for plinking, but thinking about a bolt action .22 for accuracy out to 150 or 200 yards. Any ideas? I been looking at a some of the Savage .22s.
