That probably went away when Casper Fu... I mean upgraded the site. Speaking of zombie threads, I haven't seen the Peni thread lately...
  2. Ha! I remember that! It was in Lancaster, IIRC.
  3. If you got it in your change at Taco Bell, how is it uncirculated?
  4. And ohio-riders.com doesn't even bring you here anymore. First ipboard, now this. What else are you going to ruin for us ghostly one? (Said in my best Tonik voice, even though I have no idea what that sounds like!) I really don't care what the URL is as long as I can still get here!
  5. That took long than I expected...
  6. I hear ya. My 50/5 through Time Warner sounds like dialup in comparison... My cousin in Baltimore (MD) has fiber, getting 75/75.
  7. Yes it is. It's ALL about them, not you. You are nothing. This sort of stuff frustrates me, too.

  9. All of my ratchets that I use on a daily basis are snap-on. If my old Snap-On dealer was still with Snap-On, I'd give you his number, he lives right in Freddy-town. He got out of it over 5 years ago. If you were closer, I'd have you drop it off to me, and I'd get it taken care of through my current dealer.
  10. It looks like someone's phone got caught in a pornado...
  11. I've read that anywhere from 2-4 hours for it. I did mine right around 2 hours, around 200-225 range (I didn't watch too close, I was just doing pork chops, I wanted to keep the temp on the low side.) Being a fast smoke, I knew I'd need a stronger wood, so I used hickory.
  12. So, I decided to do smoked pork chops tonight, and decided to just cook the corn on the cob in the smoker at the same time. THAT was an EXCELLENT idea! The pork chops were a little dry, I think I left them in there a little too long. Next time I will get a thicker cut, for sure. For the chops, I just salted them kinda' heavily, then tossed them in. I like them that way, but next time I may make a rub. The corn, I left in the husk, soaked them for a few minutes in water, just put them in the smoker that way. They were in for a couple hours. Took it out, peeled the husk and buttered. There was just a light smoke flavor to it, just enough to set it off!
  13. Nevermind, there are 2 of you! I found the right one, the one with OR as a "like!"
  14. Your Facebook page is locked down to not accept friend requests. RIP rider. ATGATT.
  15. Diameter... Think about it a while. They're talking about MPH at the surface, not revolutions per amount of time. The MPH isn't really a "valid" measurement for the non-scientific, IMHO.
  16. Just do it, show them once, they will ask the next time, and they WILL get it, or they don't get to watch! I'm in the middle of figuring out the same exact thing right now. I'm pretty close to deciding on a Raspberry Pi to run Kodi (XBMC) that all the Android boxes run, and to connect to a plex server for some content that I have access to there. Find someone that has a decent library running on a plex server, and you'll be set!

    Windows 10

Thanks! That worked! All is good in the hood! I got the minor touchpad issue taken care of by installing an older version of that as well. It's looking like the old laptop is well...OLD! LOL It came with Vista on it, as it was before 7 was even in CTP.
  18. Someone put a pad on backwards, or didn't tighten a bolt! I'm pretty meticulous when I do brake jobs, clean the rust under the the abutment clips, do things in a specific order to avoid forgetting to do something, etc... It IS part of my job after all!

    Windows 10

Find me a video driver for the ATI X1250 integrated chipset for Windows 10! That's all I need to have all of my computers upgraded and working properly. (Hint: it doesn't exist, just looking for a workaround!)

    Windows 10

I signed up a day or 2 before release on my desktop, didn't get it until a few days after. Signed up on release day with a laptop and got it the very next day. I think it's kinda random. I don't think so. But you can opt out of a lot of it during the setup, first run part.
  21. Some of the thoughts in this thread are far from random. Jussayin'!

    Windows 10

Click the Start button, right click your user name, change account settings, then it will be under sign in options. If you have it associated with a microsoft account, you're stuck with entering a password, at least as far as I've seen.

    Windows 10

I am very surprised at how well the upgrade went. Back in the day, I would NEVER let an OS upgrade happen, it was clean install or nothing!

    Windows 10

It failed on me twice, then just told it to upgrade. THAT failed on the first try, the second was fine, and I'm now running Windows 10 on my desktop, and the wife's laptop. So, the Get Windows 10 app says that the X1200 video adapter in my laptop will not work properly. I've been reading that several people have been using it with the preview version with no problems. I downloaded the image to a USB drive, as some of them have been suggesting, and reporting that it works) and I'm going to give it a whirl!
