  1. I would love to upgrade the SSD and the video card in my PC, but my second monitor decided to die last night, and I use it quite a bit for audio editing. I think the monitor will get repaired or replaced first. I think I'm going to go for a 23-24 inch that's "full HD 1080" resolution to replace the 22 inch 1680x1050 monitors that I have now.
  2. The typing cat is back! He's not as "cuudly" anymore though. Well done man! I will try to remember to send you a few $$ on payday (Friday.)
  3. Really? The Sandlot? Ugh... You're killin' me smalls...
  4. Magz? Oh wait, he'll stop you with his lethal elbows!
  5. Don't have any accidents to need that data? This is a seriously awesome application for the pi! I have seen people use them for entertainment system stuff, too.
  6. Magz covered it pretty well, other than I'd say AT LEAST double it!
  7. I'd like to help out, but I'll have to see what I can do. My wife works that day, if I can get a sitter, I'm in.

    Hey Cbrgirl

Who is this CbrGirl? Happy birthday Carie!
  9. Not as easy as it sounds. I don't think they offered a manual trans in them in 2003. The security thing is easily fixed, probably needs a lock cylinder, or just use the remote start all the time, since it "bypasses" the lock cylinder security for starting.
  10. This... I know several, and most of them are at least a little "off." My dad has had mini horses for years, at times he's had 10 or more. Lot's of work. The mini's can't be ridden by adults (I think around 75 pound weight limit) but they do great pulling carts, etc... My dad hitched 8 of them for parades! He's actually backing off and doing 6 these days. My neighbor has 3 big horses (rescues) and is using them for equine therapy, riding is good for people with various disabilities, such as my son with cerebral palsy. From what I've seen, a big part of their temperment has to do with how they are trained, in addition to their breeding. I highly recommend getting with someone with years of experience taking care of horses to help you along, not just in getting started, but over the next couple of years, as you WILL need help!
  11. I discovered how to give false memories to humans... Hint: it involves alcohol.
  12. I wouldn't mind building a Hackintosh for some audio stuff... Maybe one day...
  13. Didn't realize that you broke up with iOS... Will it run windows?
  14. I call BS. Photographic evidence?
  15. Navigation is still there for me... Oh wait, I don't let apps update on their own! (Maybe I'm just a control freak when it comes to software on my devices/computers?)
  16. Those V-10's (and the Dodge V-10's) are terrible for fuel mileage! The make good power, but it costs!
  17. From the looks of a few recent threads, you may need to come up with a way to limit access to posting in the "For Sale" areas again...
  18. Sorry I can't help this time. Work gets in the way Friday (not to mention I'll be out of work for 2 days for training) and Saturday is already booked up for a road trip, unless it was later in the evening.
  19. So, just go one day without blow, and you'll have a couple extra $$ to send!
  20. I still say that the Carolina's that used to buy are the best boots I've ever had. They discontinued them about 5 years ago, and I was lucky enough to find a pair of them a year or 2 after that. These Red Wing's that I have are about a year and a half old, and they're not holding up as well as their price tag say they should. I bet the comfort would be better if the salesman didn't insist upon me getting a 12 instead of a 10!!!
  21. That's funny, they put me in a boot 2 sizes BIGGER than I wear in any other footwear. They DO fit a little big, and after they broke in they were ok. My feet were hurting pretty bad through that time though.
  22. This sounds like a very good idea for the future! Although this makes me question why big companies can get away with this same stuff. Directv is notorious for charging a credit card that you have used in the past, even if you don't have it saved and authorized for auto rebilling. I've had it happen, and it seem that it's a common practice of theirs. Now, from reading what you posted from their email, is there still a problem that you did not take care of, or is that something else? Butters just might even give you a reach-around...
  23. I've been planning to do some concrete squares for mine, I just haven't done it yet (been 4 years now! )
