  1. Glad you got some therapy in today!! And i even got to take a real ride and not a down the street kind of ride talk about a confidence booster Yaay me!!

Yes! I hope you also learned not to worry about starting out on thaqt hill that you had to deal with!

You could have gone the other way, down to Loudon St., but there's a hill down there to start out on, too!

  2. They'll probably just tell her she has the right to punchisize her landlords face.... for free!

Don't tempt her! I bet MJ would be all over doing that!!

Or' date=' you get about a dozen of us to show up at your landlords place and ask her wtf is up?

We could politely ask that she rip up your lease agreement and everyone go their seperate ways. Just a thought :D[/quote']

    Woohoo, mob rule FTW!!

If ya screw with one OR, you screw with ALL of us!

When are wee all meeting up to take care of this? With all the nerdage here, there has to be someone that can help out with the legal end of it, and make sure we don't go too far.....

  3. I had every intention of making the M&G, and on the bike instead of caging it this time. It didn't quite work out that way.

It all started yesterday, wife's cage was at work, we needed it, so I left the bike there. On the way there, the speedometer didn't work. So, today, I was thinking about going to the M&G, went to get the Hon-duh. I pulled it into the shop to check out the speedo, and the drive for the speedo cable is busted, probably from where I had the wheel off the other day to balance it, I must've f'ed it up (got one coming through Ebay.) At this point, I could've just come up there on the Ninja, but I was disappointed and really needed a ride, so I just headed out on the Ninja, no destination in mind!

I rode into Newark, and on the way decided to hit 79 to 541 back to 62 back to home. On the way across to 79, I remembered talk about Cheech's spot being marked. I wondered how it was marked, until I got there! I about lost it there (not really, but it makes the story better) laughing when I saw it!

I had a nice ride behind a cage (kept me in check) until just before 586. The pace was ok for my lack of experience. As I was approaching 586, this nice yellow Squidwing pulled out. Ugh! This guy was slow (even by my standards) and couldn't hold a line! TO top it off, everytime the road would open up, he would speed up just enough to make it where I didn't think the little 250 would be able to make it around him! He kept going straight at 541, which was good and all, but that part of 541 was boring (except for the curves in New Guilford, that left when headed west was a bit intimidating) and the rest of the ride was mellow, but the whole experience was therapudic! Not exciting, but what I needed.

  4. I've found that the ole Interceptor shifts great without the clutch (as long as I'm not an idiot and do it wrong going into 5th or 6th...) and even downshifts well. I don't do the downshifts often, more as a proof that it will do it, and somtimes when slowing down gradually.

  5. Haha.. why I gotta be Lyle Lovett???

That was back in 88 in Colorado Springs. Bad hair day I guess. I was just posting up the 500 for jporter.

Yeah, that look is def the 80's all the way! Don't worry, it was cool back then. Now, not so much.

Thanks for posting that up, and taking the ridicule! I'd like to have one of those full farings for my 500 now! They are near impossible to find!

Edit: the aftermarket exhaust on it would be worth a small fortune now, too!

  6. bring the family... I might break out the gamecube for the kids.... :D

I'll run it by her! She doens't like to cook on Fridays anyway, things are usually hectic, running to the bank, other errands, etc...

  7. Sounds like a plan.

If he's goin, I won't. He makes fun of the little two-fiddy.... Makes me sadz...

Ok, I was kidding with that

I don't think I'll be able to make it, we have a kid's birthday party the next day, and the wife will probably be wanting help around the house. We'll see if I can get a pass for a while though!

  8. Actually, they did. It was in episode 28 that they did the buttered toast experiment. End result...mythbusted.

Now, all they need to do is toss kittycats off a building to see the end result. :D;)

I saw that, now that you mention it! I had forgotten!

I would like to see them go all the way with the cat part of it though.

  9. Oh, and btw, they need to stop all that suck-up clapping bullshit and just let the guy talk.

I'm Mr. Obama. Thank you everyone.

OMG the total time for applauses is always longer than whicheve president is speaking. F'ing kills me!

I just wonder what the whole deal would have been like had it not been televised?

  10. He SAYS it won't cost the taxpayers anything, or add to the defecit. I just fail to see how!!! I can see it happening through savings over the years, but it would take some time for the savings to get it rolling without putting big amounts of money to it to get it going.
