This reminds me, I need to work on my windows home server box. It died months ago, and I never did get it back running, just haven't taken the time. I'm gonna NEED the backups one day!

Are the keys in different places on that keyboard?
No, the backspace key must be broken?

I could only wish that cagers could understand that also, and stop texting/phoning/etc while driving.
On that note, I was a bit saddened the other day when I was in the Reynoldsburg area, I saw a squid sitting on his bike at a light, texting. Ugh... And WE try to improve the image of bikers, and encourage cagers to be safe, while Mr. Squidly is out there texting on his bike... Frustrating at the least. Oh, and Mr. Squidly was in shorts, no helmet or gloves....Probably those special flip-flop's also.

I've read this entire thread, almost word for word, and I no longer have the disgust that I felt initially about Obama addressing school children. Basically, if parents are actively participating in being parents, not just caretakers, feeding, and clothing thier kids, there should be absolutely no problem with anything that is said in his speech. I do think he should keep it to the stay in school, why it is important to do so, etc...
Last thing is about how Obama is being scrutinized on everything. Let me what you think on this. I think it all goes back to G.W. Bush. People had such a hatred of him, and all that he did, that people are now overly cautious now that things have gone to the other side. That, combined with neither candidate in the past presidential election being such weak candidates, people have become scared of what is coming out of the White House.

+1 on arguing religion. institutions of many, collected, interpreted, organized and always compiled by mans need to promote man, mostly at the expense of keeping women down...there's always an agenda, and no good has come forth where the bad hasn't equally following, creating a zero sum.
I'm glad I go to a different kind of church, compared to what you describe! It boils down to Love God, and love your neighbor.

2) to avoid the stupid rt16 pavement seams I was standing off the seat for about half the ride in the wind.
That road is horrid between Granville and Pataskala! I try to avoid it!

Fixed...
(The donkey's name is Fred...)

I'm open to recommendations. Roosters just has the consistently biggest wings and gotta love the Donkey sauce. Or, if you know how to order it, extra wet naked Donkeys.
Oops! I wasn't awake when I posted that! I thought I was reading Hooter's wings there!
I totally agree, Rooster's, Donkey Sauce, winar! I usually get fingers in Donkey, since I'm lazy, and eating wings is too much work for me....

Like this guy?
Purdy much!

It's seems really hard to find riders who can find a happy median with there bikes capabilities, their skills being content in the middle. Always one extreme to another.
I use my lack of skills to the best of my ability!
-
+2 For most riders it has less to do with can the bike do it and more to do with can you ride that machine well enough to do it?
Exactly. And most riders (myself definately included) only touch a fraction of what a bike can do. I know there are some riders on here that are the exception to that, and you can tell. The better riders almost never talk like they are that good.
Myself, I am sometimes lucky not to drop the bike taking it off of, or putting it on the side stand! (True story!)

Anyway, great turn out. Now if only BWR could take on Rooster's wings...
THEN they would have ANOTHER step to go before calling them good.
But, that's an argument that could go on forever!

Just DO NOT speed through Pataskala. I have a long story about it, but I wasn't even speeding, didn't get a ticket for it, but was a DUI. About 10 years ago, learned my lesson fo sho! I think he was profiling, because my car WAS an old beater, looked like it was falling apart (body was) and I DID get profiled in Granville a few months later, the officer pretty much admitted it!

This sounds judgemental but on first contact I assume everyone is a squid, because. . . well . . . most riders are.
I never actually thought about it that way, but I have to agree.
I had a guy ask me yesterday if my VF500 will do a wheelie, I said I had no reason to try it (it would take some skillz to get the wheel up on it, I would think) then he proceeded to ask if i had done any burnouts. I didn't think there was much point in explaining how much bike tires cost, and how quickly they wear out (compared to cars) so I just said no.
No offense to those around here that do stunts, wheelies, or whatever, but the bike has 2 wheels, and I prefer to keep them both on the ground, as riding well is enough of a challenge to me right now!
I deal with the squidliness enough, guy at work is a total squid! I think he even has a pair of flip flops with the toe cover thingy for the shifter....
(Ok, that last part was a total lie, just messin with ya! You know who you are!)

Need another? I just noticed this on CL:

how much do the kawi 250's have nick? i dont think it is much more than that.
Even though I'm not Nick....
Supposed to be 36, according to Kawi. Enough, but really never enough!

hahaha! okay I get it! yellow bad, pink badder... I was like huh? what?
Took me a sec to figure that one out, too. In fact, I didn't notice it here, then I went to their site, and in the smaller pic it isn't obvious. I caught on when I saw the larger version again. I was actually thinking maybe it was something in the colors on you helmet, that's why I looked closer at the larger pic!

When you can't find a local boy to lead, the default rule for riding Coshocton is "King of the Hill".
Last one to go down, wins!
You can also do special awards:
Farthest offroad into a pasture award
Amish "spook" award
Most guys necessary to get the bike back on the road award
Longest asphalt slide award
"I Like Turtles" award (slowest guy, and likely also winner of King of the Hill)
You sir, have earned pos rep for that one!

Some people.

A couple of the guys I know rebuild cars all the time. The last time they called for an appointment at the Alum Creek location, it was just a couple weeks out, compared to the couple months it used to be.
They have ALWAYS driven the vehicle to get the inspection, with NO plates. Myself, I would just trailer it, to be sure, and avoid any encounters with LEO's that aren't needed.
-
Good idea, but like some others, I don't know what I would do with my day!
Actually, 3-17 is already a special day for me, as that was my mom's birthday. I always remember that day much more than the day she died.
I'm also all for a memorial ride. Of course, everyone had better have all their gear on for it!

columbus car audio usually isnt to bad
They're really the only one that I know of other than the big-box places, like Worst (Best) Buy. I would stay with the local small business type shop, as their installers usually are better.
I install all my own electronics, especially since the only shop I would trust with my vehicles clsoed and sold out to Columbus Car Audio a couple years ago.

Getting an alarm the day the truck gets out of the shop.
Make sure you get a good one, not one of the cheap-o's! I really like my viper, any of the Directed brand alarms seem good.
