What do you expect? We've taken away all respect for life in this country. This is what you get when you can legally murder your child before birth. Reap what you sow, America.

The Mazda is gone! New cage in the garage...

I drove one of those Hyundais as a rental. It was a really decent little car for the money. I actually liked it much better than my wife's Corolla. If it comes down to having economical and dependable transportation along with my motorcycles, or having a nice car and no bikes, it's the econobox every time. -
The point I was trying to make is that, while you can believe whatever you want (free will and all) the Bible makes claims about it's authority and specific claims about who is God, and specifically says that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. Just because you want to believe in the "all paths lead to God" idea, doesn't mean the Bible will back up your claim. My comment was about the idea you presented not having any basis in reality concerning what the Bible has to say. If you are going to use it as a reference to base your idea on, then you have to deal with this fact. Consider these verses: Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Seems pretty exclusive... doesn't leave any room for any other path. If we're going to talk about this, lets talk about it logically, based on facts rather than your opinion or my opinion. It would be really nice to believe that all paths lead to God. It leaves room for everyone to take their own road without all this debating about what is true and what isn't. But just like there are physical absolutes (every motorcyclist knows about them), there are spiritual absolutes. There is absolute truth. Saying all paths lead to God is like saying all roads lead to Detroit. In reality, there is a specific way to get there. It's just plain common sense. So, either you believe in Jesus Christ as being the cure for the human flawed condition, and our separation from God as the result of that condition, as the Bible claims he is (and as He claimed he is) or you don't. If you hold him up as just a prophet and not being God come in the flesh as He claimed to be, you are saying that he is either a liar, or a lunatic, because what kind of man makes a claim to be the only way, and equal to God, unless he is either crazy, a criminal, or... He is who He said He is. His claim to be God and the only way to eternal life force us to make a decision about his character. If you believe Him, you must exclude all other paths. If you don't, you must reject Him outright, because there is no middle ground.

So glad you're back! I was just about to start a thread about union workers. Get your shovel ready.

Cars in the 80's did suck... gotta agree. You know when one of the fastest production cars of the decade is a Buick Regal (Grand National, actually) there is a problem.

Wow! How do you get banned from this site? I didn't think it was even possible. I have new found respect for that dude.

I don't have those, but I do have similar Alpinestars, and I've really liked them. They have a zipper and velcro instead of the latches. The latches look to be superior. The velcro wears out. They are the first pair of motorcycle boots I've owned, so I don't have any comparison. So basically, I just wasted your time with my uninformed opinion.

I've tried that! Riding in the winter that is. I've tried the other too, but only dogs seem to be able to do that. Riding in the winter seems like a good idea until you've gone down on ice. It happens so fast, there is no time to even catch yourself. Hurts, even with many layers of clothes on. I stop riding at 40 degrees.

You missed out on a lot. The 80's were good times... mullets and all.

Bose is to audio guys what HD is to sport bike guys- overmarketed, overpriced, underperforming, and over-rated. There are some speakers in the $300 / pair range that will just destroy anything bose has ever done. Look at Paradigm or Wharfdale. I've been an audio freak most of my life. I build most of my own stuff now. I also play guitar and drums, so I know what music is supposed to sound like. You can do much better than bose (which stands for Better Off (with) Something Else).

Very true. I'm cheering for him.

I like his new logo. Should look good on jackets, and hats, and bumperstickers... oh wait. Harley isn't picking his pocket any more! nevermind. Can't wait to see what this man is REALLY capable of.

Thanks for proving my point.

Keep in mind that liberals never want to debate facts... it's always divert and distract. let's debate about how we're debating. Never mind the facts. Discredit the person to invalidate the opinion.

This is what I was commenting on.

My statement wasn't even a response to you. I'll quote what I was referencing.

I agree about extremists, but there is a thinking these days where, if you make any form of commitment to any religion as being absolute truth, you are labeled a bigot or extremist. I'm not saying using your religion to justify killing people, etc... only saying that your religion is the only true way. I will state openly that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, based on what I read in the Bible. I won't beat you over the head with it or say you HAVE to believe it, but I believe it's the truth. Some would call me an extremist, but I think we need to differentiate between core beliefs and unacceptable behavior, both for Muslims and for Christians. It's ok to disagree... not ok to harm others using your religion as a justification.

Have you ever read the Bible? It's pretty exclusive in saying who is the ONE God, and by who you must be saved, and I'll give you a hint... it isn't allah or muhammed. It is also very exclusive as to it's claims of being the absolute word of God, not just a collection of stories. It leaves no room for anyone else's religion, as far as absolute truth is concerned. Believe whatever you want, but your statement is incredibly naive.

I have to agree.

I scored a 110, so I'm nearly as off the cliff as you are.

You and I are on the same page, but as someone else correctly said, I'd rather vote for a fence post than Obama.

She can take that breathalzyer for free- no beer needed.

Family guy, lol. I can say these insulting and derogatory comments about the brown people because of my fine breeding... 100% inbred West Virginian, born in the capital of WV, Akron Ohio. I'm sure that explains a lot of things for some of you.

Mexican, Italian... just another shade of brown. One just talks with his hands more than the other.

That about says it all. I couldn't have enough beers to vote for her.
