I honestly don't think it will be high 60's either. Sorry Paul, not trying to be an ass or pick at you but I just don't think it will go that high. I think lower 60's would be max. Just my opinion. Where do you get 5 MPH off? I have seen some be anywhere from 1 MPH off to 10 MPH off. Think of your sea doo, how many time have you seen over 71 MPH? RXP is a little different situation but you see accurate those can be. Better get a lot of parts! :fuckyeah: (Thats me being an ass and picking lol)

oh oh... I can, pick me! Good numbers man. Hopefully my ski will hit the water again this year with some similiar speeds, but with the new addition to my household I dont know if that will happen or not. -
I still personally like lt1s. I love the ls1 platform the best, but I think its great seeing someone doing something different every once in a while.

Any decent places north side to rebuild an alternator?
XChris1632X replied to Nitrousbird's topic in Passing Lane
I actually have a spare, brand new Indmar alt. What kind of hook up is yours? I have to find mine. I know it is right beside this damn impeller I have been trying to find for the past 3 months. I can look hard when I get home from the hospital(wife delivered baby this week). -
On parts or as an undercoating? I used it in a small section under my truck when I had the trans out to see how it would turn out. It has held up great and I didnt prep all that well. I dont see how it would be shitty with good, solid prep. I was looking forward to finishing the bottom of the truck in it.

I use Buds Marine at Indian Lake for all my dealership parts but I do all of my own work. My wife just had our baby last night so I cant do anything right away but maybe in a week or two I can take a look at it for you.

With the way shit goes now days, if he gets enough followers defending his death, an innocent man would end up in prison for killing this piece of shit.

why do you sayy to avoid it?

I have seen much worse that's for sure. I would have used glass as well but it might not be a big deal if that area doesn't see much flex or stress.

Great idea except for the fact that efi live is not, and never will be offered for my truck. Efi live is out for cummins and even on its way to my house but it is only for the 06-07 model years right now, with the 03-05 to follow in a year or so . I am going to tune an 06 I am getting ready to build. The vp-44 injection pump is most of the limiting factor in efi live not being useable.

I won my first paycheck racing/competing last night at the Union County truck pulls. The truck is still not running great but it drove better. It is going to continue suffer out of the hole until the converter comes back out and gets loosened up. I didn't get the turbo to light until 100 feet out and out there the track was very loose so I spun like crazy. Until I get my turbo to light sooner, I am not going to he able to build enough momentum to carry the sled on the big end of the track. My Edge box is still holding me back. By the time the turbo lit and regained traction, my Edge box was already starting to defuel. It seemed like as soon as I saw 55 psi the gauge started falling back down and I was losing power. I still have a lot more work to go but its slowly coming around. I might try and post a video from last night.

I'll look when I get back to the shop. Double check for a capacitor. Almost sounds like a capacitor problem. If you find one, look to see if it is swelled up.

i can prob get you what you need. We use rheem exclusively and might have it in stock. Give me some part numbers and I can check today.

Well ever since June's CR track day my truck has been tucked away and not doing much. It didn't run very well for track day and I couldn't get it to build any boost at the line. Since it has warmed up I have been down on power. I have went through many things only to come to the conclusion that the convertor is just slightly too tight. If I roll the truck out a car length after I start to build it will take off. It feels like it just needs to flash 100-200 rpms higher to get it to go. I had a few boost leaks that sure didn't help but I am going to have to either wait for cool air to come back around or pull the trans again. Needless to say, the tranny isnt coming back out until winter. I have half ass set the truck up for sledpulling for the summer and can easily get it to build boost for that by rolling it out. I pulled for the first time last week and more or less had a shakedown run. I spinned like hell out of the hole and let out way early becuase I started to bounce. I am going to pull this Friday at Union county fair and I have already decided that my foot is going to stay in it until it either stops at the end of the track, or breaks on its way. Some of the nasty leaks I had after track day. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0148.jpg I got those all fixed and finally got some pics of my traction bars installed. I wanted to put longer bars on for pulling but I also wanted them to not be that noticeable at the same time. These are what I have for now and if (when) I bend them, I will go longer. Thats why the brackets aren't welded yet. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0212.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0211.jpg I also installed my torque convertor manual lock up switch. For those who don't know what this is, this switch allows me to manually lock my convertor through all of the shifts. This will usually shave off .5 sec in the 1/4 mile. I tapped into the PCM at the firewall http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0207.jpg And then installed a jumper wire between the trans relay http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0209.jpg And then installed a switch from the PCM wire to ground http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0210.jpg These are all the pics I have for now. I am going to take some of more recent work as time allows. Hopefully I will still make it in the 12s before the year is over.

It wasn't me. It was a little as prostar ski boat that these guys were trying to surf on with a 10' long ocean board.

It definatly was.

At one time the wave raiders used to he the cats ass and I remember even having to sign a waiver to rent them because they were so much more powerful than the others. This however, was true 15 years ago. Better things could he had for a good depending what price is. If you can get it for 800 I would say go for it.

How are your skis running? -
Went to O'Shaughnessy yesterday and it was great except for some dumb ass DD Mastercraft. It was a tiny ass prostar or something and the retards were "surfing" behind it. It was powerturn after powerturn. I was seconds from saying something to them since they were coming 20' from my boat but I bit my tongue.

Good looking boat. Cave Run is an amazing lake isn't it? I have been going there yearly since I was 4 months old. It is the only lake that I enjoy more than Cumberland. Mostly because the camping is unbeatable. Headed there in a few weeks. -

What kind of speed did you see with the new charger? -
Unfortunately, most people here do not understand the importance of this to a certain group of enthusiasts. I'm willing to bet that even more don't care.

The new Line Up of 2012 Sea Doo Personal Watercraft

I might actually look to upgrade to one of these but its going to be a couple years. I'll wait until they hit 8k. -
You shouldn't have any problems with this, I don't think even spiders would ever want to ride in a Pacifica.

I agree that you have to assume there are more. I would not hesitate to call a professional.
