  1. I didn't see anything on Facebook either. Probably had to do with their new thing of only show a few people posts that aren't paid for to be promoted.
  2. I saw someone riding one of these in Tucson a week or so ago. He tried waving at me so I flipped him off.
  3. I didn't notice it was down. I use my phone to get on here and just stay logged in most of the time. I wonder if my phone was doing something on its own? How long was the site down and when?
  4. Lynn Strait was great but i'd say he was more punk music. A lot like the old Sugar Ray before they went pop. Are you serious about slipknot not having that much talent? Joey Jordison is one of the best drummers of all time. Jim Root is a great guitarist the problem is with slipknot having soo much going on it blends in.

  6. Fixed the original post. Lol.
  7. No you should remember the weather where I'm at is in the 70's pretty much everyday still so I'm still out riding without bundling up. Also I'm in an area where I can get real enchiladas and chimichangas real easy.
  8. OR put yours on craigslist and buy this one http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=99473
  9. Sorry but I'm too far away. It's going to take a lot more than some fart fuel and flirting to get me there. Just take your battery out. I've never worked on a ninja 250 but I'm guessing its under the seat. Should be 2 bolts under the back edges of your seat to undo (turn counter clockwise). Then lift the back of your seat and pull it towards the rear of the bike. Now there should be a couple of bolts holding the wires to the terminals undo those. There may be a rubber strap holding down the battery hooked on each side, unhook that. Lift battery out. Now obtain a charger. Pokey offered one earlier. Hook battery to charger. Self explaining. After battery is charged re install it. Reverse instructions on how to remove it. Start the bike. If it won't start something is fucked up, tow it to Hoblick. Or buy a new battery you'll need it. If it starts ride it to Hoblicks place and don't stall it. Once at Hoblicks don't bother flirting you can't compete with his wife. Should be all the help you need to take care of this. Now do it to it.
  10. I'll rephrase "My bike is soo broken someone could look at it and totally take advantage of me"
  11. Your starting to sound like the girl that walks around a party after half a mikes hard lemonade saying "I'm soooo drunk right now, someone could really take advantage of me."
  12. If you jump start it using a car or truck or other than a bike make sure its not running. If its running it can cause a few problems with your electrical system.
  13. I've never been to a gp race. Do they have the opportunity to meet some riders and stuff like they do at mid-ohio? I'd like to get my sons pictures with some cool stuff like that. He'll only be 9 months but I took him to a track day and he loved it. But that wasn't crowded.
  14. I live 15hrs from laguna seca and 13 from circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas. I haven't priced tickets to laguna yet. Circuit of the Americas is $133 for all three days for reserved seats and 89 for gen admission. Not too bad. Also my mother lives 1.5 hours from the track so lodging would be covered. I'd like to go to laguna because its laguna and they may also run the AMA races also if I recall right. If there are meet and great opportunities that may be the better bang for the buck. Although on tv I think the smaller gp classes are more entertaining to watch than AMA. This will also be the first race in Texas for GP. It could be a really good race but it could also be a flop (doubtful). I may try both but I think between money and vacation time only one will be do able this year. Given the situation above which would you choose and why?
  15. Just by looking at the pics it doesn't seem like it would be very cost effective to do the change. You'd need new suspension inverted forks and clip ons instead of bars. The thought of buying a new bike to do that with should only seem logical to people who have more money than sense.

    Health costs?

The changes of open enrollment for us take affect the second week of January. I haven't changed plans.

    Health costs?

My wifes birthcontrol went up from $5 to $11 dollars just this month. So it more than doubled and I pay a lot for my so called benefits. Odd that it happened the month of the election.
  18. When I clicked on the link using my phone the last part of the url changed to mobile-touch. Lol. The ladies picked him out of a line up I think that would be entertaining if it was like they do in the movies. "Number 4 step forward, whip it out and began masturbating aggressively then repeat the following statement "oh shit"." Lol.
  19. Build some core muscles and learn how to sit on a bike so your weight isn't on your wrists.
  20. If the VFR is too forward leaning for you and too powerful it sounds like you should just save your money and stick with your current bike. Instead of starting a bunch of threads asking questions you've already got the answers for.

  22. Or use pieces of tape. But the better you get keep moving back or the targets out. Also get ahold of some "snap caps" and throw them randomly in your magazines. You'll notice when your anticipating shots big time when it doesn't go bang. It also helps build muscle memory for clearing malfunctions.
  23. For the slipknot fans, spit it out acoustic Corey Taylor. What about Maynard keenan from tool, perfect circle and puscifer?
  24. The type of bike you get determines the type of ride. Seat and suspension along with body position determine comfort. Engine size, type and gearing determine the acceleration and top speed based on power to weight ratio. You can have a 1200 sportster that is only slightly more comfortable than a vtwin sport bike but much slower. 1. Decide what type of riding you want to do. 2. Decide how much you want to pay for bike + insurance. 3. Pick an engine performance you are comfortable with within the type of bike and budget you decided on.
