  1. You looking to trade up (add cash)?
  2. If you had two of those on the right that would be awesome, the one on the left may or may not work, either way I would need two that match. Thanks for the pic though.
  3. Do they happen to have a flat top? In need of something like this: NOT this (found at every Walmart and auto parts store):

    FS/FT: Glock 23

EDIT: Sorry, upon further consideration I rescind my generous offer.
  5. Thanks for the invite man but I want to ride Briarcliff on Saturday while it's all gussied up for the big race on Sunday (I'm not racing).
  6. Better replace that chain too or your new sprocket will look like that in no time.
  7. How come grandpa doesn't have to do up front paperwork to carry a concealed handgun? Think that woman in the black shirt will sue for hearing loss?

    Sag session

Now I'm confused - with you do we get b or d?
  9. Got any pics? Did this used to be something else? Will there be any prep at all? Would normally go to Briarcliff but am intrigued by something different. I'm not much of a rider though and would probably NOT hit a 60ft "supercross-style" double.
  10. I'm no pro but at some point in my education some instructor taught a concept of a "power cross" or something, which is basically pushing with your outside leg while pushing on the inside bar, giving you something to load against. You can debate the physics of it but mental or not, it works. I'm bowing out of this conversation right now before some fast idiot comes in and says you need to weight the inside peg to make the bike lean.
  11. 1. Looks easy to fix. 2. I wouldn't knock anything off the price unless it's dripping on the floor. It's almost 20 years old. 3. Does the leak taste like hot, mild or fire?
  12. Haha. It's like middle-eastern Fast and Furious. "Cops cops cops!"
  13. I'd use an impact in neutral. The inertia of the countershaft should provide enough resistance, an impact works like that.
  14. Lucky. When I was in college a kid on my floor ordered some cheap computer shit and ended up with a laptop like that.
  15. It's a standard waiver. Everybody is just trying to cover their ass. Too many tools suing over injuries from obviously dangerous activities. You'd love the waiver from when I went skydiving. I had to read and initial like 14 pages and watch a video of their lawyer explaining it before I signed. There was "intentional or unintentional" verbage in there that basically said if they killed me on purpose no one could sue. The biggest problem with this country is everybody expects their safety to be guaranteed. Playing devils advocate: if you're worried about retaining your ability to sue, you already made the mistake of reading the thing and posting for the record that you actually have an understanding of what it means. I just sign whatever they hand me and continue on my way.
  16. Now I know why their rifles are dinged all to phuck. Everything else is so perfect. Build some goddam racks.
  17. Lo-res teaser descent video. Can't see much from this angle other than the fact that it worked unbelievably well. http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/videogallery/index.html?media_id=149974611
  18. I stayed up to watch. Absolutely amazing. Takes a special group of people to come up with that crazy EDL method, hammer out the math and have faith that it might actually work. Kinda pissed they cut away from that post-EDL poll... I heard landing velocity ~0.6m/s, final attitude relative to gravity ~4deg, then distance from target ~200... I assume meters? Anybody finds any of that info post it up - the internet news is nothing but a bunch of media robots copy-pasting the same lame press-release bullshit. On a side note I joked about a GoPro in the other thread - I read on some chinese website (yeah, I was trying to go outside the US for intelligent reporting) that there was a video camera activated as soon as the heat shield was shed to capture the landing event. Hope we get to see that.
  19. I don't suppose anyone stuck a GoPro on this bitch. To see this actually work would blow my mind.
  20. As has been stating, freeway riding is easiest - the bike is more stable at higher speeds, everyone is going the same direction with no intersections, and speed differentials are relatively low. My advice would be don't dwell next to anyone, yet alone in their blind spot. No cruise control races, just get by them.
  21. Tourism guides http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysmLA5TqbIY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM I don't care if it's a repost, it's applicable.
  22. Damn dude is there a price on that? So much want.
