I had a Violator back in the day. Good suit (list at that time was about $1k, my local shop gave it to me for cost, which was still above this $500/ $599 deal (back in 1995). The ambulance crew at Grattan got the pleasure of cutting it off of me, and Barnacle Bill rec'd the honor of putting it back together. Good suit, held up well to pavement excursions, but no match for EMT scissors...

Mental note: Make sure that nobody with a camera ever follows me on a ride.

My first thought was "what is their relationship with AFJ, friend or foe?". Then I pictured 50 bikes on 275 at midnight acting out Road Rash. Then I got scared and went to my quiet place.

I agree with buying stuff as you need it. Get a few basics. A lot of times, Harbor Freight tools are fine if its something you're seldom going to use. For the basics (mentioned above) get good stuff, but you don't necessarily need Craftsman. Lots of tools now offer lifetime guarantees. Gearwrench (or similar) ratcheting wrenches. $299 lift table from Harbor Freight.

Your group home sure takes a lot of day-trips. Gen must be at work, so she's not responding as we'd all expect her to. Who else would refer to body parts as "dinner"? Onlyyyy herrrrrrrr.

Not really close to you, but a buddy runs to Richmond, IN to get Fat Tire. Little liquor/ beer store there.

If you like it, buy it. I've gotta say, they looked better in person (at Indy) than the photos, IMHO. My preference list seeing them live was totally different than my earlier response in this post. On another (but similar) note, folks were crowded around the new Goldwing bagger thing.
