  1. And what about the "guy in camo running away, into the woods" then stories of them escorting a camo-dressed male out of the woods and him telling people along the way that he "didn't do it"? Helicopter footage of the man being chased. Yeah, I wondered about the photos and hurriedness of the whole thing. Splash of on-site news coverage that day, then weeks and weeks of talk about it with no more photos, video, etc. Something just doesn't seem right about the whole thing. The anti-gun folks were sooooo fast to get their message out there and amplified. Anyone seen the Batman movie map issue, along with Aurora on the skyline building, in regards to the Colorado shooting?
  2. That carries as much weight as Dayton being the "Happiest City for Workers in America". Is this the same Dayton that doesn't have enough jobs? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/14/happiest-cities-for-workers-2013_n_2472079.html?utm_hp_ref=business
  3. Says the guy selling the fryer. You should be touting how delicious they are...
  4. I generally agree with this. A little while back I posted a Living Social deal for BW&R in Centerville, and bought a few. I hadn't been there before (though I had been to the Lebanon location a couple of years ago and thought it was mediocre) but took a chance, and now its our go-to wing place. Used to go to BW3 in Lebanon, but they went to bigger wings that are always really wet inside and don't seem fully cooked. BW&R wings and chunks have alllll been good, and the chunks are huge. Wings are kind of crispy, and the sauces are good. No complaints at all. FWIW, Krogers sells what seems to be the BW3 sauces under their own name (Kroger brand) in their stores. Hot, Medium, and Spicy Garlic are identical to BW3. A huge bag of chicken chunks from Sams Club, bottle of sauce, and I'm set for awhile. I don't eat Frickers anymore. They're grease quotient is a little high for me, and upsets my tummy something fierce. I love hot, but not greasy. Haven't QS&L in awhile. Like any wing joint, take advantage of their discount days (usualy Tues/ Wed/ or Thurs).

    Beer Pics

Had one awhile back. I liked it, but didn't like the price (about $5/ bottle, IIRC, at Kroger).
  6. " I'd say that the fact that stoner took the Ducati to a championship in motogp, might mean something..." >>Two, you're exactly right and what I was pointing out - you cannot take the motogp bike and instantly think the WSBK is the same. Similar technology, but totally different. << So which is it? Those are both your statements. "Similar technology" in that some of the MotoGP stuff bleeds down to production bikes eventually, which WSB is based-upon. I didn't say he is/ was a racer. I've never met him. I was trying to make the point that he doesn't seem to be coming completely out of left field on this. He's not a 16 yr old Noob riding a 1976 JC Penney's moped. He's seems to have some grasp of what he's talking about.
  7. Overreaction. Revel wasn't hostile in his post. His stable list shows that he owns a Ducati, so its probably safe to say that he keeps an eye on what they're doing. An avatar of a bike on a track, maybe even the Ducati, might add some more relevance. It doesn't seem that he's a totally uninformed commentator. How does "Stoner (taking) the Ducati to a championship in MotoGP" translate to production-based WSB? I don't think anyone is disputing the Ducati knows how to race. People are just voicing their opinions about the way that Ducati is going about things. Its not a personal attack on you, and we don't all have to be Ducati fanboys.
  8. <<So, price weighed in as the motors are all the same with exception to the R model which is just too far out of reach in terms of cost>> I just blew beer out of my nose. I never thought I'd hear/ see those words from you, Mr. Jackupachurchvan.
  9. Coming from her, this is so much funnier than "with all DUE respect". Think about it...
  10. SPOILER: It turns into another sappy Mila Kunis "why don't you love me" movie.
  11. Ohhhh mannnn. Missed it in the theaters, and have been waiting anxiously for it to come out on PPV/ DVD. Watched it last night, and was sorely disappointed. Like most movies, all five really good scenes were part of the trailers and commercials. I was in Kroger for some other stuff, and almost bought the DVD, thinking that I'd surely love the movie. Decided to save the cash and go PPV instead. Glad I did. It wasn't a bad movie, just much less than I expected, though I'll keep the Thunder Song with me forever. FWIW, I'm a huge McFarlane and Wahlberg fan.
  12. My 14 yr old daughter has replaced her Gen3 touch screen twice, and just replaced her gen4 touch screen for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Granted, these are Touches and not iPhones, but its the same principle. Order a kit from ebay, watch Youtube videos while you wait for it to show up, have a go at it. The 4th gen was more involved than the 3g, but it works fine and was less than $20, I believe. If you can work on your own bike, I would think you can do this.
  13. www.levis.com Dunno. Link won't work for me. I "don't have permission to access...". I'll think twice before posting up a deal next time, though. Really wasn't worth searching and researching to see if someone had already posted it. Trying to save folks some money, and instead of "thanks for the lead" I get something like this.
  14. Everyone thinks that... until they meet us all. Then its allllll about regret. Welcome to OR.
  15. Rebirth of a long dead thread. Now that TWD is on hiatus until Feb, I was looking for other time wasters. I'm using Amazons free month of Prime, and found American Horror Story. My wife didn't like TWD, but she's digging this. Started at the beginning, and we've watched 4 episodes. Interesting stuff. ( Oh crap, shouldn't have read JCarlson's post above...).
  16. Yup, Feb 10. Marathon from the beginnnig on New Years Eve/ New Years Day.
  17. Ahhhh, I remember now. Thanks much.
  18. My mistake. Lennie is the actors name who plays Morgan.
