  1. Yeah, thats what I was getting at.
  2. Really? Why? On 71 SB today, near Kings Island. Passed a Harley (on the right. If I'm passing on your right, you're in the wrong lane) rider with a cigarette in his mouth. It was humorous as the cigarette was kind of flopping around in the wind. Last week on 75 NB near Tylersville, passed a woman driving her Harley. Watched her work the cig out of the pack, pop it in her mouth, then reach over and pull her cig lighter (automotive pop-in style) out and light it. I'm not a smoker, but don't really get it.
  3. Looking for: -a DL1000 clutch hose (hydraulic) -SV naked throttle cables (naked only. Need longer than the S version cables which I currently have). -DL650, DL1000, or a second-gen SV naked front brake line (just the main, long line from the master cylinder to the caliper Putting MX bars on the GSXR front end, need longer stuff than what is on there. Thx
  4. Exactly what I was thinking. Awesome. Props.
  5. I had "99" on my YSR and on my NSR, but they weren't the same bike...
  6. OP: photos on post #1 and post #28 in this thread. Are they the same bike?
  7. I had an '04 Mazda 3 which I bought in December of '03, when they first came out. I had always been told to avoid a new model car for the first couple of years so they mfr could get the hiccups ironed out. I sold it in 2010 with 169k on the clock. It was a great, trouble-free car, and I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It had a nice ride (not too harsh), but handled like it was on rails. Looooved the twisties. It was the hatchback (oh, sorry, "five door") and all stock. Doesn't fit my needs now, but I wouldn't have any reservations about recommending one. I think Mazda needs to tout their quality more than they do. Seems that my Toyota is in the shop regularly.
  8. Thats what I was basing the 288 on...

  11. WHOAAAA... Wait. What? I don't want my family exposed to any of the OR bastages floating around here. And all three have an affinity for ice cream-type stuff. Hmmm, almost got me. Good play, my friend. You guys gonna have sampling spoons? I'm just gonna keep trying samples over and over. Easily ate a double-cones-worth at UDF last night, and didn't pay a penny. Line behind me got pretty long, but hey. I think your first TV ad should be the Dos Equis guy. "I don't always eat froyo, but when I do, its Twilly's". We're a small market, I'm sure Dos Equis will never even hear about it...
  12. Sounds like you need to have a "talk" with your Sammich Maker.
  13. about a week or so, IIRC. I now source decals elsewhere.
  14. Is youre ebrake still connected? We've got an 06 Wolvie and don't have that problem (even with ebrake connected), but had a Z400 that liked to eat pads. Removed the ebrake assembly from the handebar back, and solved the problem. Common.
  15. Impact gun. Definitely. Also, if I understand it correctly, a 520 chain and a 530 chain are the same pitch and length between pins, but the 520 is a narrower chain than a 530. Ditto for 525, but its width is (of course) larger than 520 and narrower than 530. Standard thread, I believe (rightie tightie, leftie loosie).
  16. Lame. But typical. "No YOU prove that its not fabricated". Like Dan Rather fabricating stories about GW's military service? "Its not the factuality of the story, its the nature of the charges", i.e. throw it at the wall and see if it sticks. If they find out its a lie, make them prove it VS us proving that its true. Liberal tactics: deflect, deflect, and deflect.
