You stop wherever you like......lol......not into that myself.
  3. I've seen bikes on the road that look worse than that. LOL Quite a find.
  4. Out of curiosity, how does the KZ900 compare, speedwise, to the fast bikes of today's world?
  5. I am working on making a sissybar backrest for my ol Kaw. Right now trying to locate some 1/2"-3/4" square rod about 6' long....hehehe not much around me here, but was thinking about having it powdercoated after bending it all up. Does pc'ing hold up good? Or maybe have it chromed? Saw this thread and figured I'd ask....but first have to locate some steel....lol any suggestions?[
  6. Interesting indeed.....and when money in the $$trillions$$ is concerned, nothing, no action, is off the table imho. I have had thoughts of the possibility of these mass shootings all being connected to the govt's bid to control arms. I wouldn't put anything past our own govt sponsoring something as heinous as that to accomplish their own agenda.
  7. Just laid out our vacation for '13........riding out to Sturgis the week before the Rally. A week there to ride, then the ride back.........can't wait!
  8. Grounding is very important, but you can probably get away without one in your application. Heck I have done work on farms where its scary with all the stray voltages everywhere because they do not have good grounded systems. Most of the old homes were without grounds. Knob and tube wiring was groundless. Its better and safer overall with a ground, but in your case I wouldn't worry too much about it.
  9. Nope, just sick and tired of this kind of behavior followed by them killing themselves. Don't like it? Pound sand.
  10. There is nothing, -NOTHING- on God's green earth to justify this massacre. Words just cannot come close to relating how I feel, but I would give anything to have had 5 minutes alone with this pos... 5 minutes.
  11. Buy a Honda Rebel when you get there. Leave your good bike here, safe from theft and vandalism and camel shit.

Come spring we should throw a cruiser ride together.
  13. Typically it takes a business 3 yrs to get off the ground and start making a profit. Balancing your time between that new business and keeping a regular job while having a family has to be a real tough undertaking. Deciding and prioritizing has to be tough too, but you know whats best for you and your family. Best 'o luck in your future endeavors!
  14. Yeh I was going to buy it but its too big for a doorstop.
  15. For the money, a Mossburg 500 12 ga cannot be beat. But is a pretty basic pump, gets the job done and keeps on keeping on...............for years. I've had my 500 AB since the early 70's with zero issues. Shoots dead on........takes a beating, keeps on repeating........lol In that time I have used it to kill freezers full of rabbits, ruffed grouse, pheasant, ducks, geese and deer. So if that's what you are intending it for, for the money it simply gets the job done and is a great investment. If you are looking for more in a shotgun like 'name', weight, ejection direction, pretty engraving/etching/checkering then you are going to have to pay more. But when it comes down to the basic needs of a shotgun, you will not get anymore bang for your buck, imho.
  16. Too bad, had the wife convinced and was ready to do some negotiating.
