  1. I'll be gentle. Hoblick, anything you want us to bring? Trying to avoid meats since it may not keep on the ride. Chips or anything?
  2. OK. See you guys there. I'll be on a black R1
  3. Cool. I'm flexible so just let me know where and when and I'll be there. Thx
  4. Hey SkullCrusher, you mind if I met up with you guys and tag a long? I'm coming from North Canton.
  5. Assuming no work was done to your clutch plates and you put in fresh oil. No issues with the plates slipping the cable moving freely I'd say you just weren't used to it. When I put in a new cable I had the same issue but either I got used to it or it broke in. For conditioning exercises, I'd recommend you switch hands when you fap it.
  6. Is your free play within spec?

    Grips

Spider grips are my preference for the street and track bikes
  8. Heartbreaking! Prayers to you and his family.
  9. What are the odds that I looked up from my computer at the exact time you guys rode by. Wish I was with you guys. Looked like a nice day.
  10. Were you guys on Main St near SR8 around 2ish? I looked out my office window and saw a black standard followed by a black sportbike who was 2up with a chick with pink and white jacket and a teal Sportbike following up the rear.
  11. Wow. Very exciting indeed. Haven't been that glued to a race in a while.
  12. My stomach and ass was killing me after my recent workout. My routine: 1 large Chicago deep dish 1 lb of hot wings. I swear my stomach was going to explode and my ass definitely did. Don't worry though. It was gluten free.
  13. My deepest sympathy man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
  14. I've never seen a dual exhaust set up like that. Very GP-esque. GLWS
  15. They are SP not SC. SP's are OEM on the Panigale. So I assumed they are DOT. Also assumed it would therefore be less impacted by heat cycles. Forgot where I read it but thought SuperCorsa SP didn't need tire warmers. I know...whole lot of assuming...
  16. One of the days at Grattan was counter clockwise. I'm a slow intermediate rider so I thought I'd get more days. I may just put them on the street bike now. The street bike is definitely bald now. Kids don't mow, but do shovel. Just in time for another round of snow.
  17. How do I know when tires are done for track use. I've got a set of Supercorsa SP's on my R1. The use on the tires were strictly track duty. Specifically I ran 2 weekends (4 days) at Grattan last year on them. I don't have tire warmers so it went through the typical heat up and cool down. I've got plenty of meat on the centers but I fear the edges may be done. It's pretty close to the wear bars. I wasn't very good about keeping tabs on the tire pressure so it looks pretty rough. These are the softest/stickiest tires I've ever spooned on. Also I felt like I made some significant progression in my track riding so I know I've been harder on my tires. But I was still surprised by it's wear. Obviously I need to monitor the tire pressure more. So a few questions for the experts here: Is 4 track days typical for a set of SuperCorsa level tires? Based on the crappy pics, should I get new track tires or do I have a couple more track weekends left on them Anyone see any problems running these on my street bike? I do 75% highway commuting and 25% weekend twisties.I'm planning a long distance trip this summer so I'll be getting a higher mileage tires for the street bike. Otherwise, I'd move these track tires to the street bike and only have to buy one new set of tires at the beginning of this year. If I have to get 2 sets, then I need to make arrangements on selling one of my two kids.
  18. Ran across this in my daily M/C news readings. A Kickstarter project for a film about M/C racing. http://<iframe width="480" height="360" src="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1415102938/its-something-inside-motorcycle-road-racing-doc/widget/video.html" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"> </iframe>
  19. Oh man! That is just ripe! So what's your plan.
  20. That's fair. An updated review keeps the warning out there but shows mgmt willing to make it right. That's good customer svc. Now the real question is will he make changes to operations or keep having to "make it right". Some times you just want them to do it right the first time.
  21. Call STG or whoever you bought it from and they'll send you a replacement. Same thing happened to me and I called them and got a new one in the mail in a few days. No problems ever since.
  22. I'd say go back to the carbon facility. Although you'd rather see the boss spontaneously combust, it is a guaranteed job at your current salary. It doesn't mean you have to stay there. You could in the meantime wait for other opportunities in another division as they come up or you could look outside of meggit. Either way an employed person is always more desirable than an unemployed one.
