  1. Great Tonik! Thanks for the info! I'll give it go. I like the idea of it being offline. I took a trip to WV and was out of service for an hour and was drivingblind.
  2. As title states, anyone use the app CoPilot? It says you can create routes by drag and drop... Sounds similar to Google maps. Free trial but thenn have to pay $10 for the US maps. Also says you don't need cell service... Just GPS connection. I like the native navigation app that android has, but there is no way I have found to load routes. This sounds like a good alternative but looking to see if anyone has personal experience.
  3. Welcome. I've got a friend at work who lives in Kirtland.

    Old dog

Scruit; I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 4 dogs in my life put down and one had congestive heart failure at 17 years. I still cant imagine what you are going through as everyone has a unique relationship with their dog. You made the right decision, but I know it's still hard. Prayers and thoughts goes out to you and your family.
  11. a well running sump pump is cheap insurance. Consider having a spare/back up in case your motor quits. They are not meant to run constantly forever. I'd suggest you upgrade and keep the old one as an emergency back up. Also consider a pump that runs on batteries. When the power fails, it'll be a good investment. otherwise it acts as a second pump in the case the water levels rise too much on the AC powered on. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Basement-Watchdog-Emergency-Battery-Backup-Sump-Pump-BWE/100055241#.Ud2WpzvVC_k

  15. subscribed...although Gingerman is the weekend before. If I don't go to Gingerman then I'll join this ride. two weekends of motorcycling in a row would cause me unwanted comments from the Mrs.
  16. Nice find. I called them and they have my size. $125 for the radials mounted on rims. Just need to get out there before I run out of time. Thanks to all for the input!
  17. I've done both. Did a sandals all-inclusive to Jamaica. This is ideal if you want to lounge and do some sun worshipping. Also good of you don't want to stress about where to go to eat and what to do. It's literally being a beach bum, drinking, eating, and sleeping. Probably the only vacation I ever took where I didn't need some unwind time before going back to work. I've been to Rome as well. What an absolutely beautiful place. The history of the buildings and towns and ruins are just amazing! Rome is probably the most touristy place in Italy. Which is good as they are very tolerant of Americans. Things to keep in mind. Most of Europe goes on vacation for weeks at a time in August. So expect services to be slower. Also Europeans just take their time with everything. A 3hour dinner is common. The best thing I remember was one evening sitting at an outdoor patio. We had dinner over the course of 2.5 hours. Anti pasta. Some wine. Some cheese. Some wine. A salad. Some wine. A huge dinner. Some wine. Dessert. Espresso. Wonderful. So things to know is that it's warm in summer time and their definition of air conditioning is to take the humidity out of the room... Not cool it. Also ice is a luxury. So the difference is between being drunk lazy and a solar vegetable with no stress or seeing a wonderful history-rich country with some of the best food and people you'll meet. Either way you can't go wrong.
  18. BRILLIANT! many thanks sir! I think I've got all the info I need now!!
  19. Thanks Brian! I'll give them a call.
  20. Good info! I'm looking for a local vendor as I'm headed to Grattan this weekend. (procrastination...I know) Regarding the plys, do I just get the most plys and can I mix with whatever I have. I.e. IF stock is 6 ply I can use 10plys... Or is "ply" for "bias" tires and therefore not applicable The part I'm worried about is the bolt pattern. For example in the above link from Jerry "The 14" diameter x 5-1/2" wide steel trailer wheel features a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and a corrosion-resistant powder coat finish." Where do I find out about the "5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern"? I assume "5" is the number of lugs and "4.5" is something to do with the circumference or radius of the pattern. I'm not sure what I have or how to figure it out. To Ron505's post, "most" should be the same. I'd hate to find out in the middle of nowhere that the one I get is not the same.
  21. So I was thinking I should get a spare tire for my trailer. If it matters, I have a Haulmark 5x10 enclosed trailer. Specs say tire size is ST205/75R14 I figured I'd go to check out Tractor Supply. At TSC they have premounted tires on rims. But how do I know what to look for? Are they all universal if I find the right size? I'm just thinking that for cars I need to make sure the bolt pattern and offsets are the same. Is it the same for trailers? Any advice out there?
