  1. Stuck in the Hilton Anatole working 12-16 hour days every day
  2. I can call next week when I'm back from Dallas and find out, unless you'd like to.
  3. See you goobers there, maybe. The Southern Ohio Forrest Rally is the same weekend and a buddy of mine is ranked #1 in the country in 2WD division and asked me to go down so I may be coming from there.
  4. I should note that I am on the same tentative schedule as Tim. I won't be committing to any track days at Mid-O until around 2-3 days out since the weather is so unpredictable in this state.
  5. Why do you hate children and America, Jim?
  6. I was hoping I'd be able to take the day off but the client for next week's show decided to throw a bunch of last-minute crap onto everybody's plate. Enjoy the day for me! I will live vicariously through you and your FJR.

    RENT for a week

Hope you enjoy your time in Columbus. If you're a fan of Barbecue, head to Ray Ray's Hog Pit. If I were to recommend 1 fairly priced food stop in town, that would be it. Since you mentioned Kendo, if you're looking for good Japanese food, Akai Hana is where you want to go. They have a pretty nice little market there now too with Japanese goods.
  8. I'll have everything one would need short of a No-mar stand to take a wheel off the bike, a tire off the wheel, a tire on the wheel, balance the wheel and put said wheel back on the bike. I may not have some socket sizes for front/rear axle nut. Currently I have a 22mm, 25mm and 27mm and that motion-pro multi size allen socket tool. I don't have a chain break tool either. I'll even bring lube.
  9. Sure thing. I'll be bringing all my tools along including the tire changing variety (weights too), so we could potentially just do the tire change at Fontana.
  10. he stepped on a crack and forgot how the rhyme went so he went ahead and broke his own back. :|

    RENT for a week

Yeah it's doubtful you'll find anyone willing to rent out a bike to someone as that opens them up to all kinds of liability if something were to happen. Say you get hit by someone - you could sue the owner of the bike, the person who hit you could sue the owner of the bike and you, etc. Most people are very hesitant to lend their bikes out even to good friends or family. That said, I want to visit Prague some day and hit up Prague Power and the Alphonse Mucha museum. Good luck finding a bike, and if you do, head down south east of Columbus towards Mcconnelsville for all the good roads.
  12. They run the weekend before, so hopefully it won't be 1'st day crowded. The biggest thing is it's one of the only weekend days available this summer at Mid-O.
  13. Hey, lets not try to place blame on a single party. Both of them were up to no good.
  14. Thanks for the offer man. I may head down a day or 2 early if I can swing it so I'll probably drive myself. Currently I do have a spot for a smaller bike on my trailer, nothing larger than a Daytona though, probably.
  15. Boy, someone could draw all kinds of fun things on that brace.
  16. You've got some time to come up with an excuse, still a couple weeks out.
  17. @TimTheAzn and I plan to be at Mid-O on the 14th and have some room in our garage. I'll be running Novice and Tim will be in Intermediate. Any other interest?
  18. Laaaame. Ok well @TimTheAzn and I seem to have room for 3 more bikes in our super exclusive garage.
  19. Who all's planning on the 14th? @jacobhawkins, @TimTheAzn and I will be there (weather dependent as always), may or may not have room in the garage, up to Tim's buddy who is playing hard to get.
  20. I'm trailering down and currently have nobody riding with me. You're welcome to the passenger seat. Not sure I could fit Connie on the trailer with the Trumpet though, Tim(azn)'s Daytona barely fit last year.

    CR, real response?

if you're worried about security just make a junk email account with no personal information in it; and don't meet at your house or give out your address if that worries you. there are lots of guides out there on how to best approach selling/buying things from craigslist, maybe check google for one of those. /shrug
  22. someone bring the man a pizza also, good choice on Riverside. They 100% comped my aunt's heart attack care a couple years back since she's a hippie that lives off the grid in WV with no health insurance. I do a lot of work for OhioHealth and they run some quality establishments.
