  1. Anyone have a TI-84+ by chance? Or TI-84+ Silver Edition?
  2. Anyone actually go check this out? If not I might
  3. Yeah.. its not that slow.. good grief... he is a bit more mellow of a rider that is for sure, but I am not sure if he would be quick enough on the "going to a bike night officer", if they pull him over somewhere... maybe its best to leave it alone and go with regular plates. just a thought..
  4. Hello, my brother bought my 85 nighthawk off of me and since he needs to get new plates and all that, I was wondering if anyone has any experience using historical plates, which might save him some $ in the long run. The law states: To qualify, motor vehicles must be at least 25 years old. They are solely collector's items and are used for participation in club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades, etc. They are NOT for general transportation. This bike will not be a daily commuter, he might ride it to school/work a few times are week when its nice out. Just curious if anyone has used them and had any issues with the LEOs or anything else? any feedback would be great. thanks
  5. sounds like the spot to be then... and its way closer for me than heading out to Polaris.
  6. could be pinlock? http://www.amazon.com/HJC-Pinlock-Anti-Fog-Lens-Yellow/dp/B001PN62VC
  7. the Bimbo bread isn't too shabby... too bad the price went up though
  8. I'll try to make it up there by 7, I have not been to a QSL night since I moved out of cleveland, so its been a while.
  9. ahhh... but its near the upper Sandusky river
  10. i have taken the nighthawk up to the UP and it was gorgeous, most people thought me and my buddy were nuts though. here is the route.. we took the coast all the way up and hit the slab on the way back due to time...
  11. I was thinking Gatlinburg as well, anyone have any experience with some cabin rentals and can suggest a place, i know there are tons.
  12. Looking for a decent 3 day trip with the gf, something away from throngs of people if possible. I would say anywhere within a 6 hour drive from Cbus, can be a bike trip or car, will probably end up in the car. Could be a city, something like hocking hills with a cabin and hiking, anything really. Just something relaxing. If anyone has any thoughts, please do share.
  13. i do admit, i have taken the "road" waaay less traveled with the vstrom... its fun and relaxing.
  14. just sayin.... it just dosent look like the design aged well, buells are a riot though.. so if you like and can find parts go for it
  15. yeah.. i must concur... it does look a bit dated.. my 85 has the square light
  16. I second not dumping the clutch, i stood my nighthawk up on a 45 degree angle at the starting line by doing that.... I can't imagine what you might do with real power... But its all good, everyone was thrilled that an 85 honda could do that!
  17. well maybe it wasn't that bad..... but you certainly had to take it a little easier, plowing into a water filled monster pothole at like 45 slows that down real quick! i'm one of those shiney vstromers who every once and a while thinks it a full out dirtbike lol
  18. Got a corbin on the NH and one on the way for the strom, corbin is decent on long rides, albeit a little slippery
  19. Velvet is pretty cool in Utica, can grab something to eat there as well, sometimes they have live bands and a hayride!
  20. i like the pseudo Acura front end beak hole thingy
