  1. His little bastards are grown. We are still working on ours. Soon my friend, soon.
  2. True story. I was headed south out of Norfolk on the bike. Ahead of me a storm was brewing, i mean black as sin clouds. I was debating if I should stop or just power through it. At that moment I seen a sign for Jesus chicken(chic-fil-a)and a bright lighting strike went across the sky at the same time. I thought "okay, I can eat" so I took the exit. Just as I walked through the door and smelt that wonderful aroma. All hell let loose outside, I mean biblical rains. I took a hour and savored that moist delisious sammich(2 of them actually) and hit the road. Weather has now blown through. About 3 miles down the freeway you can tell where water was flowing across the road pretty deep due to the heavy down pour. There were four bikes on the berm just past that, two of them on thier side. A sheriff was already on the scene so no need for me to stop. Another couple miles up a ambulance was headed in the opposite direction with lights and sirens. I'm assuming towards the accident. Hope the riders were okay. But yeah that could have been me if I had not gotten "a sign" (literally) for Jesus chicken. Thank You Jesus Chicken!
  3. Lot of these plates looks the food in the main dining room on the cruises we go on. One of the things we like about cruises is the quality of the MDR.
  4. I love me some Jesus chicken.
  5. We have boxes of those at my work they are corded though
  6. Nice to see you put a picture of @Tonik on the frame.
  7. BRP would make a top 10 for me. You can stick to 10-15 over the limit and not draw too much attention and have a great time on some pretty decent tarmac with a view. Traffic varies up there just like anywhere else avoid on a weekend. Ive chewed up more tires on BRP than any other single road i'm willing to bet.
  8. Depends on what kind of list we are talking about. You have scenery, road quality and or twisty quality and amount of traffic. If I had to list a #1 in all categories it would be the Cherohala. A complete list would take me some time to complete. Just know the dragon, 555 and tunnel of trees would not be in my top ten. Skyline drive isn't even on my list.
  9. Been on a little over half of the roads on that list and yeah no way I'd list them in that order. Not even sure 555 would be a top 25.
  10. 2 crushed vertebrae, 1 slipped disk, 2 bulging. Only time it doesn't hurt is when I'm on the bike. That seating position just makes it go away.
  11. Did 134 miles in a couple hours. Couple detours for washed out bidges but was great getting her out. Obligatory Mohawk Dam pic.
  12. I'm looking to do the same up around Millersburg after work, but I'll probably be back home before your even getting off work. I'm rolling here in about 25 min. Just going to cruise and not ride agressive because I don't have all my gear with me.
  13. Nah. A* run small I'm usally a XL or 2 XL in them.
  14. I've actually seen this twice in my travels. Pretty clever little gag.
  15. I thought so just wasn't 100% sure.

    No upshifts

My wife's Vstardid some thing similar after I did an oil change and switched it to synthetic for the first time. Did not shift right, did not want to go into neutral. Only thing I changed was the oil type. About 100 miles later i put dino oil back in it and all was well once it got time to work itself back in the clutch. That bike's clutch just didn't like the synthetic.
  17. I would think it's the same as just a Ninja 650. But I don't know for a fact.
  18. Sure those gloves are only L? That seems pretty small for a A* glove. If so you have really small hands for a guy your size.
  19. How are those non "A spec" tires holding up?
  20. The tan leather was absolute selling point on this bike for her. Almost as equal as the fact that it fits her perfectly. If it didn't have the tan leather she didn't want it.
  21. Being leather I figure it's going to be one of those replace every year or two things. And she had black leather wraps on the vstar and loved them, even in the wet.
