welcome! As others have said... gear, gear, gear. Helmet, gloves, jacket are ABSOLUTE minimum. If you're stubborn and insist on learning on a 600RR, then PLEASE be insanely careful the first few (several; many) times you get on it. You won't have habits formed and reflexes/muscles used to doing what you need them to do to be safe. Go for a few nice long, slow cruises before you try and do ANYTHING. It's a serious bike... Don't kill yourself because you haven't learned to handle it yet. Dropping it will make you feel terrible, btw, so just get used to it.

I have a friend who finds the youtube official video of songs he wants and then DL's the song with a firefox plug-in that'll download flash videos. Then he converts the flash video to mp3 and imports to iTunes. It's a couple extra steps, but it's high quality, official music, and easy to find with no viruses. He just gets individual songs, not whole albums. I use a mac anyway. As does my friend, of course.

Thanks! Sounds like it's all subjective, and everyone has a different opinion... meaning the things they talk about are the really important factors. How easy it is to do, meaning i'll do it more often, is worth far more than a lube that's worth twice as much but sitting on the shelf

My GF and I were up late watching movies, and decided to swing by BestBuy and WalMart... Bestbuy was out of good deals, but almost everyone in WalMart (this was like 1 or 2 AM) had the 32" Emerson TV... We picked one up... I would've bought the Emerson 40" for a few bucks more for 10 more inches, but they were out by the time we got there... No worries, we didn't stand in line at all, and now have a 32" Flat Panel for $188 I'll let you know if it dies on us in 6 months, haha, it'll make you feel better

I think I'm going to buy a new flat screen TV this year... and I'm very seriously considering bein willing to stand out in line all night long to get a good deal. You can look at "what i pay per hour," but I'll stand outside in line for one night, big deal, for a TV I'll have for 5 years. Worth it.

I heard a horror story on my car forum a few years ago about something LIKE this... The guy (seller) ended up getting screwed because that state DID have a lemon-law rider that covered all used party sales... "as-is" didn't mean jack if it was the 3-day time period right after the sale. Others have said Ohio's lemon-law doesn't apply to used vehicles that aren't from a dealer, but that's what you need to double check.
