  1. Ouch, with the forks tweaked that hard how does the gooseneck look on the frame? Did the engine take a hit at all?

    New To Me

Much better. I've now got at least 6" from my knees to the dash and I dont have to lay the seat back to keep my head out of the headliner. Not sure about the insurance difference yet, but we should hear back this week about that.
  3. New site is fighting my image upload....damnit.....joke fail
  4. I'm sorta skeert about this here innuendo, sooooo follow I may not since it smells of dirty backroad "hidden agenda"
  5. Saw the highlight of the SS class start crash, absolute craziness. Guys were piling and swerving, running over other riders down, couple of asspacks, it was nuts. I replayed the incident a few times looking for you and figuring out who all was involved, hoping you weren't part of it all since this is expensive enough without needing to rebuild a thrashed A bike. Glad you came out unscathed ( physically, surely hit your mental game in the mouth for a bit ). Good luck man, do well this season!
  6. Agreed. Let folks stand behind a short, drystacked stone wall to get close to the action and all safety protocol is out the door. The riders knowingly endanger themselves for our entertainment and their braggin' rights, but it's senseless they let the public do the same

    New To Me

This^^^An overpriced, tiny, rwd momentum car.....it would absolutely suck driving it in the winter And I concur with Sam, the TC is the only Scion I could tolerate seeing in our stable. Her little Celica was a chore for my broadness to climb in and out of without a shoe horn and a stick of margarine, not to mention it rode like a brick. It handled great, but not so practical when my daughter is with us - back seat looked like a leather wrapped pine bench. I'd been pushing her to replace it for a while and glad she finally got what she wanted......again
  8. That's quite a list! What gen ZX14 injectors did you intall? I believe Kaw went from an 8 to a 10 port tip on the '08+ but the 3rd gen may be bigger/better than that with the displacement increase
  9. Nice buy Sam. I love big bore 4's for the fun factor and passing pull they have, but play too hard too often and you'll fair well with buying shares in your favorite tire and fuel companies I typically burn through at least 2 rear for every steer and fuel mileage can vary between 20-42mpg. I agree that's some fugly luggage, but wish I had some at times for long hauls instead of overstuffing my backpack. Good to see you went sport tour, that bike can take you anywhere! That machine will love you for all the overdue maintenance it's about to get
  10. Hell I aint even there. Lemme download some, here hold my beer

    Dyno!!!

DTMBrian on here just had a dyno day, not sure what his typical rate is but search him out in the memberlist and shoot him a PM.
  12. The strip is wider now, with cement barracades, and the shutdown is now 100ft longer. Apparently the first weekend they're back open ( should be the next couple weekends or so) they're inviting EVERYONE ( bikes/cars/trucks/whatever ) to come and test/tune the new track and see if the improvements are definitely an improvement. They've spent a ton of cash on it in hopes that it will escalate the facility's attendance and revenue to pay back the huge investment Can't be any worse than the old setup, I'd think.
  13. AWESOME! Bring me about 40 gallons and I'll pay ya back -- it's about $4/gallon up here
  14. I should clarify that he works on the roundy round, NOT the dragstrip. So his schedule/knowledge of the goings on vary from the workers on the straight track
  15. He hasn't heard for sure but suspects that's most likely what they'll go with. Good turnouts Friday nights last year so they were happy with the response they got
  16. and nice scoot! Hope to see you out and about this season
  17. Hahafzr is a track official there at Kilkare and he was out at the dragstrip last night and said they should be done in the next week or so. Going to be quite a different, but much better, surface to run/race on -- can't wait for Friday night T&T visits
  18. I'm excited to see your drag/mile performances. Hit me up when you plan to do either/or. Btw, Ohio Mile is running this weekend!
  19. What a crock, if the father wanted to risk his own life for his child then so be it. I can't understand why the police should be allowed to stop him when others that do this very thing are deemed heroic even if they die trying
  20. I agree, claim it as a loss and replace it all. You can keep it for spares just in case, or gift it to someone that has no gear and pay it forward
  21. Killer scenery. Wife and i definitely have the west on our bucket list. Nice shots!
  22. Glad you went with a full set oldschool, Gap ride is surely NOT the place to leave your tire confidence in question. Went to the Pony back in March and was treated nicely as well. Awesome work Derek and Hoblick
