  1. What's the price range going to be??
  2. Talk about irony.......almost as if your grandaddy's deceased friend was playing a little trick on the new co-pilot -- good story!
  3. www.motosport.com for all my little aftermarket parts and upgrades Unless it's OEM parts, then I tend to use dealers online or try and find good used goods from members
  4. That's great news!! At the very least, the meds will give you more time to share......I lost my dog to a speeding car when he was only 5 years old - so I've never had a pet put down, but I can empathize through friends of mine that have done so. If I were you, I'd take some extra time off work just to enjoy every minute you can with her while she is here......but when the time comes, it will be the right decision - and you're pain will fade - especially once you get a new pup!!
  5. I'm assuming it's due to his post count?? He's quite the little post ho either way:lol:
  6. Nah, but this wkend looks good for riding weather.....just watch out for those drunks fella's!!
  7. Probably because its "sense" you're needing.....he meant ( in a more tactful way ) that you were too busy checkin out her butt to realize what she was riding!!
  8. Glad to hear you're back on 2 wheels!! Wow, hiding a bike from your folks huh? Thats tenacious AND dedicated to riding right there!! But ya know you would have gotten caught eventually anyway right? I'll be at MidOhio July 8th - 10th for the race weekend but not before that Friday - look me up if you got tix to go....otherwise, keep your eyes peeled for the trackday schedule here
  9. Thats a deal on the Volusia - especially with all the add-ons - Somebody buy it!!!
  10. Damn that bikes CLEAN for a grand - I'd mark that price up if I were you! Typo...
  11. Next will be arguments about WHERE the ducs are ALLOWED to station the added ballast......jap mfg's are a bunch of whiny tearbags......freakin suck it up and find more speed, or develop your own v2's already!!
  12. Sounds like Beemer, offsetting the trail - why though? Other than just to be different, that is. It cant really improve handling or Honda would be doing it;) Oh, and I would ALWAYS align the chain to the sprockets - thats where it would need alignment most. I used the string just for another reference point. Along with using the axle block markings, eyeballing line-of-sight down the chain with slow rear tire spin, and checking sprockets for sideplate contact - yeah, I'm one of those anal fella's too:D
  13. Trackday! Trackday! Trackday! Dacktray! Uhhh, trackday?
  14. I was over 225lbs when I had my old bike setup - did make quite a difference for my rookie ass.......noticed it did turn in better, less mushy in hard-braking dives, and a little less skating under exit power too - well worth it for anyone with a track weapon
  15. What a tragedy.......Rest in peace rider, a speedy recovery to the daughter, and deepest condolences to all
  16. String technique I've used to double check alignment is take 3 or 4 foot length string and hold to centerline of the swingarm pivot and then stretch taught to centerline of the rear axle - then either mark the string or dont let go to check other side same way. Basically a cheap, easy measuring tool to ensure the axle is close to perfect parallel with the swingarm pivot as possible
  17. Honda's got good OE suspension, but I would assume most guys upgrade suspension components simply to get MORE adjustability and better working system to get more power to the ground. Most likely, its up to you and your seriousness to be competitive at the track - you would understand the difference moreso if you did a few laps on your stock 6, and then a few laps equipped with Ohlins:D When properly setup for YOU, Ohlins is like another world in comparison to OEM
