    Kettlebells.

Okay, I'm now into week 2 with the Skogg System and also have a Art of Strength Volume 1 for off-day stuff. I started out a bit too heavy with the 26 # and went down to a 20 # to work on my form/technique....loving it, so far, and look forward to each workout. That is a real nice change in attitude from the past few years of barely working out.
  2. I love chicken, and watermelon, and sweet iced tea, and turnip greens, and.......well, black people aren't the only one's who enjoy good Southern food. As for Z, he's innocent until proven guilty and the state is doing a wonderful job of proving him innocent.
  3. It was pretty much a given that Putin was going to let him stay but it's not likely he's going to stop leaking classified information....that was his intent and agenda all along. Hopefully, we can nab his ass somewhere and bring him back for justice.
  4. The leg humping must be the Other with 7% but that doesn't seem right....it should definitely be higher.
  5. I don't think Red was agreeing with your price gouging tactic but he clearly agrees that they're great bikes which they still are. And I'm not looking for your approval, personally I think you're being a little shit about the whole thing and hope you get some humble pie handed to you when you sell it for $2k or less.
  6. Some things bear repeating until someone can get over their stubbornness.
  7. I miss mine - a '92 - but you're asking too much.

    Kettlebells.

I'm going to have to try out the kettlebell complex workout and found one about 20 minutes long on Men's Fitness. I'm also still doing my push-ups and pull-ups along with some free weight exercises on my off days. If nothing else, I have a new found interest in working out, again, so I can't complain about the soreness (yet).
  9. String that motherfucker up from his balls until he bleeds out.

    Kettlebells.

Anyone using them regularly as a part of your fitness regimen? I picked up a set off of Amazon along with some workout DVD's. I'm through my first week working on my technique/form with a 12kg (26 #'s). They're definitely effective with respect to cardio and I can feel the workout especially in my legs with specific exercises. I am not, however, sure how they'll affect my upper body but it's still too soon to tell.
  11. Yeah, good call heading back home....you can't fix stupid.
  12. Math is math but leasing is 100% stupid. You're trying to justify paying for a car you cannot afford. Pay cash or if you must, finance a used vehicle with a large down payment and pay it off as quickly as possible.
  13. Just one more reason not live in Ypsi......
  14. Be careful what you wish for....NTTAWWT.
  15. I rack up almost all of the miles on my company truck - about 50k miles a year just for work - and just use mine for food/beer runs. My '09 Ram will be paid off in February - my only debt - and it'll still be worth more than I paid for it. I've always stuck with the saying that leasing is fleecing.....no matter how you do the math, you're still getting fucked.
  16. Their selves? Um, no. And I'm not going to provoke the IRS.....I'd prefer that Congress abolishes it altogether and establish a Fair Tax.....but that is just a pipe dream.
  17. I have nothing to add as far as witty comments.....LBTS GLWS.

    I'll offer up my Duc.....
  19. I've been able to watch the Browns games over the antenna and more than you would if you had cable.
  20. I've been with Geico for years now for my auto/cycle/renters insurance but I should take Tonik's advise and shop around.
  21. I dropped cable last year and I only miss watching Speed for my auto/motorcycle racing fix....it just isn't the same trying to watch it on my laptop. I do get several stations OTA on both of my TV's and can watch some sports - baseball, BB, and football - when I'm in the mood for it. I also have a Roku which I rarely use anymore but it's a nice option along with Netflix, Vudu, and Amazon video services on my PS3/360 - those are my primary sources of entertainment. I also just wait for my current favorite TV show - Longmire - to be released a couple of days later on Vudu and buy the show which is still way cheaper than cable. The other one, Justified, is free on Amazon for the seasons 1-3 with a Prime membership which has already paid for itself.
  22. Damn, my Kawi lasted over 75k before I sold it to a buddy in SF in good condition...and it was ridden hard from day 1. But, then again, I was the original owner so it was cared for religiously - good luck in your search for a new one.
  23. I can't say that I've ever experienced numbness down there.
