  1. So who is going other than I? Weather looks to be perfect!
  2. What year & model bikes do they fit? Maybe I'll buy a bike to fit them.
  3. If I was to ever wreck. That is the way I want to do it.
  4. the vids I have seen show tire walls way too close to the race line. I hope those are movable during a motorcycle event. Either way, I'm excited for another racetrack within a 3 hr drive from home.
  5. I like Crown Royal. But prefer Scotch. Nothing too special. just a simple Macallan 12 yr is fine.
  6. I went over 180 on a zx-11 back in the day. Was a little surprised when I realized I may not have enough room to slow down before rear ending cars doing 75 in the same direction. Ahhh. to be young and stupid again. Now I just play at the track. Not sure how fast now, but good guess would be 160 on some long straights. Depending on what I'm riding at the time.
  7. Lighter is almost always better. But Downforce is also a big factor. If it is too light and there isn't something increasing the down-force, then there becomes a time when too light de-creases friction. But this will not be a factor on anything we can afford.
  8. Tony wouldn't have been able to see him until it was too late because he was behind the blue & white car. The kid was stupid to run into the middle of a hot track. Should have stayed to the side of the track and thrown his helmet at Tony like everyone else. I feel sorry for everyone involved! RIP
  9. I should call in sick and go play at the track!
  10. I would like to thank Nick, Casper, and anyone else involved in this program. Freaking awesome! I plan to choose a track I haven't been to. Once I make a choice, I'll post up to see if anyone want's to go. if you don't mind riding in a packed car, squeezing your bike next to mine in an open trailer, and sleeping between the bikes under an ezup, it will be an epic day/weekend.
  11. Ahhh Noooo!!! It will not be the same without you!.
  12. We don't normally know what group we are coaching until that morning. I registered late, so I'm pretty sure I will coach Novice at least one of the days. I will be riding a black and silver Honda CBR 600 RR with yellow plates #4. Please stop over and say hi! I'm usually in one of the garages around # 12.
  13. Just buy something and ride it like you stole it.
  14. Currently I plan to coach both days and support some friends racing that weekend.
  15. Get your ass off the seat farther, use the ball of your foot on the peg, and stick your leg way out. The more you do this, the less lean angle your bike will require to negotiate the turn.
  16. I'll be there Sunday. Blue Pontiac pulling an open trailer. Black & Silver CBR with yellow plates #4
