I just double checked the routes and everything looks good. By my calculations with my route for the 1st day, should be a total of just over 2000 miles.
+1 It's good to disconnect every now in then. I'm happy with AT&T. There are times I don't have service and Verizon does and vice versa. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
Well, I am not going to make my goal of 220 by the Gap Trip. I am down to 226 as of this morning. 2 bike trips already this year and each trip I gained a few, which set me back. No worries though, I haven't been focusing much on losing weight lately. I've been doing more weight training, mainly arms, shoulders, and back.
My route as of right now is to take 32 to Cincinnati, then 71 to Louisville and 64 to the hotel. If i get past Cincy and feel good, I may venture off and hit some backroads and avoid Louisville.
OK, I'm bored at work, so I figured why not start a topic. Let's see how this goes. Maybe it will give others ideas when decided what gear to buy on their next purchase. What do you wear when riding, on a 75 degrees and Sunny day?

I find it interesting that there is a higher percentage at hitting a pedestrian than being hit from behind by another vehicle. This study sure doesn't help those lobbying for filtering. I knew intersections were gonna be a big factor, and that seems to be my main area of concern when riding through towns.
What's everyone's plan for Friday June 2nd? I'm still up in the air about my route. I don't know if i wanna go through Cincinnati or Lexington. I'm only 4.5 hours away, so I will probably work a half day and leave SEO at noon.
For sale is my Rev'it Airwave Jacket. I bought it almost exactly 2 years ago. Jacket is size 3XL. At the time, I was 5'10" 280lbs and it fit kinda tight. Now at 228lbs, it is just too loose and I bought another Rev'it in a different size today. The jacket does have some very little wear marks. This thing breathes alot of air, but does okay for cooler weather if you have a heated liner or down jacket. It has always been cleaned with Nikwax Tech Wash. Factory Knox shoulder and elbow protectors have always been installed. Adjustment snaps on arms and velcro adjustment at waist. Velcro wrist closures. OR Price $70
