  1. Just picked up a new riding jacket. Finally a Craigslist deal that worked without a hitch.
  2. Doc, I'm sure you'll make a great ride video for us.
  3. Left the ignition key on and drained my battery. Hopefully I can charge it back up on the trickle charger and it will be alright...
  4. Just made it home. Roughly 230 miles. It was great to meet new people and recognize some familiar faces. For those going to the Gap Trip, see you soon.
  5. The link in OP is working for me. Tonik posted GPX and ITN files on page 13.
  6. Tri-coats, pearls, and candies can be a real pain sometimes. Looks like it turned out great.
  7. Yes, i figured why not, its cheap and meets Yamaha's requirements.
  8. I was gonna wash it but figured what's the point, it's gonna get dirty tomorrow. Checked the tires, tightened highway pegs, changed oil, and cleaned the windshield.
  9. Same here, it will depend how it looks in the morning for me.
  10. The T30s felt kinda slick for the first 30 miles of curves for me. Then they got real nice and stuck like glue.
  11. I had one silver and two blacks. Silver is stuck in my saddlebag and the blacks are on my Neotec and my Qwest.
  12. For those worried about melting, maybe I suggest something like this...
  13. Glad you had a good trip. I can't wait to go back again.
  14. Yeah he has a way of doing that. I'm surprised he didn't try to get you to buy the Sena unit made for the GT Air as well...
  15. Now my excitement for the trip is starting to kick in. I'm already starting to get a packing list put together.
  16. I'd be happy to sweep the Hate Parade, plus I don't think I can get lost...
  17. You see alot of textile/mesh because it is more affordable than leather most of the time, and it can vent better. Yes, you sacrifice protection with a mesh jacket, but you must balance the comfort to protection ratio. Some sacrifice their protection some, so they are not sweating their ass off all day. Most textile jackets will have some sort of armor and optional back protector available. IMO, the FZ-07 is a great bike, and a bargain really. It's got enough power to be more than just a beginner bike, while still being a good choice for beginners. If you decide to order gear online, send a message to @RidersDiscount, they can get you some awesome deals.
  18. I did this loop 2 weeks ago, it's definitely a fun one. Plenty of gas stations along the way.
  19. Wunderground has progressively went from Chance of rain to Overcast to Partly Cloudy 87 Saturday. It has gotten better as it approaches.
  20. Instead of FarmersOnly.com they have ShinersOnly.com
