I have ran half a dozen sets of Angel GTs and I thought they are one of the best performance Sport Touring tires, but the mileage on heavier bikes wasn't the best. Until now. For the same amount of money, I got the Roadsmart 3s plus a rebate. So far i got a couple hundred miles on them, and I would say they turn in better than any other sport touring tire (I've tried Angel GTs, BT023s, T30s, & PR4s). If i get mileage remotely close to what the reviews are saying, I will be buying more of them in the future.

Got both saddlebags and top case packed. Adjusted suspension for loaded. Took the bike for a ride and it was very stable loaded down. Saddlebags left to right were within a 2 pound difference. I am ready to go. Now if Friday could hurry up and get here.

No worries, I just took it out for a little 100 mile ride and got it covered in bugs again.

Bike serviced, tires changed, a quick wash, and now it's time to start packing.

I just double checked the routes and everything looks good. By my calculations with my route for the 1st day, should be a total of just over 2000 miles.

+1 It's good to disconnect every now in then. I'm happy with AT&T. There are times I don't have service and Verizon does and vice versa. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

If you're looking for people to ride with, post a ride and see who shows. I was at the Gap the 14th for a little 3 day trip.

Well, I am not going to make my goal of 220 by the Gap Trip. I am down to 226 as of this morning. 2 bike trips already this year and each trip I gained a few, which set me back. No worries though, I haven't been focusing much on losing weight lately. I've been doing more weight training, mainly arms, shoulders, and back.

OK, this has me interested now. Only gonna add 20 miles to my route.

My route as of right now is to take 32 to Cincinnati, then 71 to Louisville and 64 to the hotel. If i get past Cincy and feel good, I may venture off and hit some backroads and avoid Louisville.
