  1. Our first night's hotel is within walking distance of a gas station and a walmart. Shouldn't have any trouble finding something.
  2. If it's a shirt with a R1200GSA, shouldn't it come with a Starbucks gift card?
  3. 441 on the weekend is joke IMO. If you're gonna ride it, try going during the week. The road up to Clingman's Dome is nice as well if you got time for a short detour.
  4. Revzilla did a video with a fuel bottle on a XSR900.
  5. I scroll through there every now and then and just cringe.
  6. Extended warranty FTW! I hope I never have to use mine, but I got 4 years worth.
  7. For those with Garmins, below are the .GPX files. Let me know if you see any issues. Day2Route.gpx Day3RoutePt1.gpx Day3RoutePt2.gpx Day3RoutePt3.gpx Day3RoutePt4.gpx Day4Route.gpx Day5Route.gpx Day6Route.gpx
  8. Deals Gap "The Dragon" Facebook page does mid-day updates of the road, and everything looks good. https://www.facebook.com/DealsGap/
  9. I've been very happy with my Honda Accord V6 Coupe. It's fun to drive. Got 34.5 MPG on a trip to Cincinnati. You can find them in Manual transmission. I also liked my 2011 Chevy Cruze. Great gas mileage, leather seats were great.
  10. Nice, I rode through Marietta about 2pm or so for lunch. Perfect riding weather yesterday.
  11. This one says $1900 or best offer. Might have some negotiating room. https://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/6140122297.html
  12. I have ran half a dozen sets of Angel GTs and I thought they are one of the best performance Sport Touring tires, but the mileage on heavier bikes wasn't the best. Until now. For the same amount of money, I got the Roadsmart 3s plus a rebate. So far i got a couple hundred miles on them, and I would say they turn in better than any other sport touring tire (I've tried Angel GTs, BT023s, T30s, & PR4s). If i get mileage remotely close to what the reviews are saying, I will be buying more of them in the future.
  13. Got both saddlebags and top case packed. Adjusted suspension for loaded. Took the bike for a ride and it was very stable loaded down. Saddlebags left to right were within a 2 pound difference. I am ready to go. Now if Friday could hurry up and get here.
  14. Can we still blame you for the rain? Where's the doom of hate when we need it? @Tonik
  15. No worries, I just took it out for a little 100 mile ride and got it covered in bugs again.
  16. Bike serviced, tires changed, a quick wash, and now it's time to start packing.
  17. Welcome, from another FJR owner!
  18. OK, good example. Was he on an old KZ1000?
  19. Who the hell willingly rides 270?
  20. Rode to work this morning with the top case installed. First time I've rode with it this year. Takes some getting used to with cross winds.
