Doc as I think about it the way the bars were whipping you around I don't know if you could have throttled.
-
I think I remember reading this in Twist of Wrist or somewhere as the correct response. I saw the whole thing transpire and doubt I would have throttled. He started to slide and I believe the correct response again is to roll on as well, but doubt I would have done it. Doc did exactly what I think I would have done. I believe he rolled off throttle and stood the bike up. The bike then went into the tank slapper after it came out of the slide and he ran out of real estate. If he would have throttled, definitely would have had to lean the bike back over through the left hander. @NinjaDoc I did not realize how much gravel was in that corner until I looked at the pic you posted. That thing was littered with gravel everywhere. I spotted the gravel in the middle as we came around the bend and saw you hit it, but I didn't see that it was throughout the corner. I experienced some head shake a few times at Mid Ohio coming out of the last turn down the front straight. I just kept on the throttle and to be honest I was kind of smiling about it. Might be some stupidity involved in that smile, but I figured it was a result of the front end getting light coming out of the corner. I just have the dampener that comes on the 06 1000rr, no adjustments.

Looks like we won't be riding together on this one again. I can't make the 9th, daughter has a volleyball tournament.

I enjoyed following you Todd. B-D are all reasons I enjoyed riding with you 2 at the epic ride. I would have rode with you 2 yesterday but the whole idea behind this ride was to ride with Jacob. Had it just been me and the couple in front on 78 I would have pursued you 2 around the semi. I did not feel right trying to go Mach retard with 8-9 guys behind me (I know Tonik this is your point, but I had a blast with the way everything was). We had somebody miss the turn onto 555 and waited quite awhile before heading out. All in all, as I said in the other thread it was an awesome day. I'd show up to do it again.

Couldn't catch that thing either. It was great to meet you Todd. I'm assuming your daughter is okay. Yes?

Despite some troubles this morning and on my way home it was a great ride today. Started the day off watching Doc go down. Glad you're okay Nivin. Then I picked up a ticket on 22 just before I turned off onto 285. It was awesome to see all of you that I have previously met and to meet some new folks as well. I had a blast riding with the group I was in. I spent most of my time trying to chase down a white Daytona or break away from it when I led. Never accomplished either task, but boy was it fun trying. Can't wait to do it again, hopefully I won't have to wait for over a year this time. To end the day, about an hour from home on the slab I got drilled by a bee in the neck. Nothing major just annoying. Thanks again for organizing this Jacob.

Home safe. Little over 550 miles. I'll post more later. The Mrs. has things that I need to get done.

Meeting @NinjaDoc around 7 in Canfield. I think he has a route planned for us to get to New Concord. Hopefully he is planning in US time and not Indian time. ? Can't wait to see you as well @jacobhawkins. It will be great to see the rest of you that I know and meet some of you I have not met. Thanx for putting the route together and posting it Jacob.

Make sure if you want follow Biggie you remind to loosen the connection on my brake light so you can get that strobe effect.
-
So @B-Mac who you gonna follow tomorrow? Your glock or Biggie?

I just watched your ride video. So you can say what you wanna say, but I now know your secrets(not sure what they are really). Next time we ride that road it's on. No time trials like Tonik spoke of either it's straight up grudge match on the street. Don't worry I don't plan to be following you. I plan to stuff you in a corner and see you at the end, off my bike taking pics as you were. Totally joking btw, because my guess is it will be the same result as Tuesday. Me tensing up going where the heck does this road go as I crest a hill and head through the next blind corner at a turtle's pace.

I don't necessarily hate 536. It's just a challenge for me. I'm just not comfortable with it. As a school teacher I know what my homework assignment is. Ride that road as much as I can until I've memorized it like 4th grade math facts. Then leave you searching for my taillight next time as I kept looking for yours. ?

There was not much sacrifice here Doc. I still rode 420 miles and I was gone for like 9hrs on the bike.
-
Andy are you saying you're available during weekdays at times?
-
	Sounds good Doc
-
So what you're saying is you're in for sure?

I spoke with @jacobhawkins this morning. I plan to meet him in New Concord around 10:30 and kickstands up by 11. I mentioned to him to maybe cut out the Ostego stop to save himself a stop. I'm not sure if he's going to do that or not. I'm sure he'll post what his final thoughts are. When I met him in Ostego there was no gas station where we met.

Rode it with @NinjaDoc and had a blast even though he left me in his dust on 536.

Tonik if you want a decent road to run off of Rt 6 grab Rt 27 in Meadville and run it to Titusville. It's not SEO twisty but a good time. I know it connects to 6 in Meadville but you will have to look up how to get back to 6 in Titusville. Should not be much of a detour and I think worth the time.

I have ordered a couple of DID kits from Bike Bandit for my CBRs over the years. They have always come with JT sprockets I believe. I have never had a problem with them, even on the 1000rr.

I believe the Bucket is labeled as the miner's memorial as well Andy.

Changed the oil and clutch fluid.

@B-Mac new bike? I ran the same route to Marietta. Followed your route out of Marietta as well minus 536. I originally planned to hit 255 and 536 but after my buddies spill we really struggled to make time. Glad you had a good ride. Hope you can join us on the 5th. It would be great to ride with u again.
