  1. I believe there were a couple places right beside Townsend gateway. Just north of it
  2. Been working on my first attempt at vinyl wrap. Lots of work left to go.
  3. I’m screwed then. I bought this one to rack up a bunch of miles and get banged around a bit.
  4. Not quite there yet but spring is not here yet. After seeing the difference suspension work made on my last couple bikes I couldn’t resist.
  5. Got a few cosmetic things done on the Connie A little vinyl wrap. Then I finally gave in and called traxion dynamics and ordered up a Penske shock and ak20’s for the forks
  6. Don’t remember how many but it’s all that came with it.
  7. Thanks man. Hands down the most enjoyable project I’ve ever done.
  8. Took the winter to clean it and 7 miles to cover it in road grime. Great to get out though. Only 7 miles to work but 60 to get Home. It was worth it
  9. Yep. Linked &ABS. Thinking yours is a 5 line kit. 2012 model is a combination of hard lines and soft. Masters to ABS pump then ABS pump back out to the calipers. 5 of my lines are under the fuel tank. Clutch line is part of the kits as well. Definitely gonna know my way around this thing before winters over. Trying to talk myself into traxxion dynamics suspension. But $$$$$
  10. Got new lines bolted on the Connie. Still gotta fill and bleed. That’s a lot of lines. 11 total.
  11. Valve adjustment complete and throttle bodies synced. Also cleaned out the cooling system and topped it off with fresh coolant. Got my new radiator guard installed, drained the oil and called it a day. The whole valve adjustment wasn’t nearly as difficult as some make it out to be just take time. Lots of it.
  12. I picked up a Connie last fall and I’m very happy with the bike. Handles great and still very comfortable. Tons of power. The bag system is awesome and nothing looks out of place when there removed. I have zero experience with the others listed but it’s my understanding it comes down to small preferences. I’ve always been a Kawi guy so I didn’t look very hard at the other options.
  13. I’m lucky to live right in the middle of the area a lot of you fellas ride hours to get to. For me it’s a Saturday or Sunday departure south at daylight. Almost always 0 traffic. Home for lunch.
  14. I was shocked. Expected to be on the tight side of spec after doing other Kawi 4’s but some were way out. Even all the ones in spec were on the tight side but one. It was perfect. Thought that motor was awfully quiet.
  15. 12 of 16 valves out of spec. Cams out and everything measured. Had to order a couple shims. Somehow even with about a hundred shims I was a couple short. Glad I decided to dig into it.
  16. Started tearing into the Connie today and finally found the valve cover. With all the shit I pulled off the bike it’s no wonder why it weighs 700 lbs.
  17. Never been on the track. Plan to do the OR day this year.
  18. I go with the hornady for 380. I’ve carried a lot of different guns but..... After I bought a lcp for my wife I ended up with one myself. I’ve carried a shield, glock, lc9, sig, kahr and always end up back with the lcp. It’s so easy to conceal and I have no concerns with it getting beat up from use. Defiantly not a range toy but more than accurate enough to hit man size targets at a defensive distance. Lots of folks run on the small caliber for an edc but I’m more likely to carry it than anything else because it’s convenient and easy to carry. My 1911 wouldn’t be much help if I needed it and it was in the safe.
  19. I’m still using a set of venom stands I bought when I didn’t have the coin for pit bulls. The front lifts the bike by the lower clamp instead of the forks. Really like that feature
