  1. Glad you're healthy enough to enjoy this weather on your new bike. Glad you bought a new bike. Glad you like your new bike. Good for you. I agree with your opinion on the cylinder head. The left head on the Goldwing took all the punch from the van that struck us. If I had been on the Voyager I believe my leg would have been crushed on impact, possibly shoving my femur straight out my asshole. That's never a good look.
  2. I think you should use the new washers and apply the specific torque value listed in the OEM service manual, unless it has also been superseded.
  3. 100 miles from home. Stopped in Caldwell for fuel and a stretch. Front tire gave up the ghost on 58 yesterday heading toward Marion/16. One too many front end slides for my comfort level. I had to bail on twisties and slabbed to Princeton for the evening. Left the hotel around 8am and have been rolling 77N since then. The RS does not disappoint in the mountains or on sporty tours. Left the house on Sunday at 8am. Will be home by 2pm today, with almost 2500 miles of mountain fun in my wake. I look forward to another mountain weekend before the season ends.
  4. 405 miles of beautiful riding into the mountains. Currently in Princeton, WV and heading southwest in the morning.
  5. You tell Karp that he needs to post up here because I dont do Facebook. Or tell him to text me so we can go on a ride.
  6. No need to cancel. Just throw the baton in the air and one of these eager moto junkies will happily grab it and run. Amirite?
  7. Paint the wall first. Once that dries, place painters tape. Then cover painters tape with another round of the wall paint. Once that dries... trim over as haphazardly as you wish, staying away from the far edge. Once THAT dries... remove the painters tape and marvel at your perfectly trimmed barn. THEN... go back inside your house, take a look around, and motherfuck the shit out of whomever painted it last.
  8. Installed a new bracket to mount the gps where I don't have to stare at my feet to read it. I also ditched the OEM saddle for a new Sargent. Original would become uncomfortable after 300+ miles. My buddy's RT has a Sargent. I did a 700 mile day in that saddle and never got sore. Hopeful for similar results on my bike.
  9. You will never wear those out if you install and adjust them properly. Anodized billet is tougher than what came OEM on your bike. They've spiked my "Blingometer" into the red. I see zero reasons to not buy them for your street bike.
  10. Don't be jealous, guys. I promise to buy each of you a salted caramel soy latte with extra foam the next time we get together. My treat, since I am soooo rich.
  11. I don't paint. I'm not an alcoholic.
  12. That their "you deal with the EPA regulations" price.
  13. Do you know how long a mouse has to burrow to find an Goldwing airbox?
  14. I am not able to ride that weekend, but I hope you all have great weather and a zoomy good time.

    Beaver Tail run!

I mean, that's cool and all... but I didn't need one.

I dont think the ArriveCAN app is required for land travel anymore. I have been to Toronto since the COVID regs have laxed and it wasn't necessary.
