  1. This post really hit home with me. If I were riding with you all, Tonik's attitude as expressed here would definitely be the same as mine. Just go out on a ride with friends, find a great place to eat, and have fun. Enjoy the experience for what it is. How formal does a posted ride need to be other than, "Hey, I'm planning on riding today. Here's where we could meet at (time) and maybe stop for lunch at . . . ? When Durk posts rides, this is usually how he couches them. Same as Doc. This is the way I'd love to join you guys (and gals.) Why does it have to get complicated? If/when you've had enough, simply peel off the group and head home . . . Or am I somehow oversimplifying this?
  2. I would imagine your brain is still a bit fried from reading case studies, etc for your MBA 🎓
  3. Money well-spent IMHO Here's an odd story I just read on CNN: https://heavy.com/news/2019/08/alana-cutland-plane-madagascar/
  4. Huh. From average-looking, egotistical slut to a homeless person. Nice transition. Live well, Joyce.

This is a cool idea. There is a luggage rack available for my bike, and I would have to install one in order to use the gas pack.

Yeah, not gonna happen for me, I guess. I've thought about this for a while. I ordered the restomod in fall of 2016--way before joining OR--as a bike to commute to work on. Some parts were scarce, lots of changes/upgrades made along the journey, resulting in a ridiculously long build period.

Hey, Nivin-- The ethnicity of members on this site never concerned me, but I hope to ride with you sometime. My bike has been under construction for a few years, and is slated to be done, according to the mech, "this summer." It's a 1971 Honda Ct70 modified for street riding. It will have 70 mph capability, but the tank is limited to ~half a gallon, so I am somewhat limited vis-a-vis extended rides in the absence of gas stations.

Assuming you meant to type the word "yes" instead of Ues in your previous post. Nivin, then. Good. Hopefully he will weigh in on this so he is no longer insulted by further misspellings. Your historically frequent typing errors on several posts/threads suggest to me that you are often in a frenzied state of mind while contributing your thoughts here. That, coupled with your rail-thin physical appearance and often aggressive responses to posts, leads me to wonder if you are ingesting mind-altering substances.

First of all, after reviewing several threads on this site, it seems to me that his name is properly spelled "Niven." Next: forgive me, but does "brown" refer to his ethnicity?

    The brown reference.

    Clarification?

Niven is a known prevaricator. This whole thing reeks of deception.

Bought the Colt new in 1996 for $1,700. The Nerf® . . . well, let's just say it was a bit more dear.

We built our house 26 years ago. No varmints inna attic, no holes in the soffits--or anywhere else. Rock solid construction. BTW: gunz-- .45 ACP Colt Combat Commander (from the Colt custom shop--1911 style) in stainless Belgian Browning Auto5 12 gauge shotgun with curly maple burl furniture, chambered for 3" mag Nerf® Rival™ Kronos XVIII-500 (by far the most expensive piece in my lineup)

DJIA is up 12.7% for the year as of today. Four more months to go.
  18. Oddly enough, it looks like that thread is gone now.

I own several guns, and my soffits are aluminum. If they wanna try to chew through that to build a nest, se la vie.
  20. That's hilarious! Have to admit, though, that I never knew what the "w" in multigrade oil was for.
  21. Will the next mass shooting be caused by oil rage? Rotella rage?

Now, you know that's a waste of protein. I think I might field dress the tiny corpses, pack 'em in ice, and take 'em down to the City Mission. That's what many hunters do with the venison they shoot or scrape offa the roads. I have wasting kill.

My lowest cholesterol reading was back when I was around 25. It was 160. My dad was a lifelong smoker, but never had any heart problems, although he died of lung cancer at 75. Tonik, you likely do not have "thrifty genes," as you are rail-thin and can seemingly eat whatever you want without physical consequences. I really don't watch what I eat, but do have (managed) elevated blood pressure. Is your pressure within normal limits? If it is, you really are in "position A."
