  1. I'm redoing my ghetto bathroom. I bought my house from the original owner, built in 1968. This bathroom is a sad addition to the house...it is embarassing. I've finally decided to do something about it. So far I've gutted it. Wall sanding/patching, new floor, trim, etc...that's the easy part. It is a SMALL bathroom: 6'7" wide, 5' deep. The toilet, due to the drain, is squeezed into one corner. I want to get a corner sink, and a corner shower. The current shower is the most ghetto $25 setup that I can't even figure out where you would buy such a cheap thing. It sits in a corner; 2 sides next to drywall, 2 sides exposed. I want one of those triangle-ish designs, save some space. Problem is, they are a bit harder to find, and pricey. Lowes/Home Depot don't have much; Andersons had a few, and so far is my best choice. I also want a corner sink (again, the triangle-ish look). Andersons is the only one so far that has one, and it was EXPENSIVE ($400...understand I can get a square sink from them that looks decent for $80). This is a tight budget project; I hope to be out of this house within 2 years, so I'm not sinking a bunch of money into it. Where else can I look? I was pleased that Andersons was far better than Lowes/Home Depot, but I need more options.
  2. The ONLY reason I bought an iPod was because the head unit in my Avalanche can directly control it = never have to touch the iPod. I bought it used...helps to make sure I put no money into Apple's pocket. I couldn't even tell you the battery life on the thing, or if the headphone jack even works, as it stays hidden in the truck.
  3. I like that idea. Mine just sits on the shock tower on the Formula. If I ever get a fiberglass hood for the Avalanche, I'll move it under there too. For now, the antenna sits on the dash; wire comes out of the dash vent. Barely noticable and doesn't look out of place due to the shape of the dash. I put it on the front of my boat, since people walk around so much it is easy to block the signal over it. It stays perfectly with double-sided tape (even after getting wet a lot).
  4. See the post I made a few above yours. You are one of those people.
  5. There sure are a lot of stupid people out there. Some of them just happen to post on this message board. If you thought the plane wouldn't take off, you are stupid. And I didn't watch the show. If being called stupid offends you, well, that sure sucks, huh.
  6. I went big-time nerd on my PC: Three 22" Widescreen LCD's for it. You can do a lot of stuff with three monitors. Main TV is a 57" HD, have a different PC hooked up to that as well. Also have a standard 50" in my front room where my main PC is, but the computer isn't attached to that.
  7. TB SS would be sweet. Avalanche. You can talk to me or Daron about each of ours, we both love them. The ONLY thing that will replace my Avalanche is another Avalanche or an Escalade EXT (Caddy version). That said, they are gas hogs, but well worth every gallon.
  8. I'd look at a used Lexus IS250 manual (those seem to sell for a lot less used than the IS250 auto/250 AWD/350. They started making them in 06, and are VERY nice cars. Far nicer than any Accord you will sit in. A couple year old G35 would be nice too. Since the new CTS came out, the price of the used ones have went down quite a bit. Worth a look.
  9. Sean, what is your price range? That makes a big difference in what is suggested.
  10. Obviously you never read about how Vista differs from XP in memory management. Superfetch, look it up. It's retarded to leave memory open vs. using it to prefetch items until that memory space is needed for other programs.
  11. For those that don't know; if you have a fiberglass hood, you can mount the antenna in the engine compartment. I hate external antennas. That's where it is on my Formula and it works great.
  12. Why waste a bunch of money buying new? Buy 2 years old, use the remaining warranty to fix any issues, and save a bunch of money. Though I've never understood buying a new car to save on gas money; the difference in cost of the car will be more than the difference in gas cost in most cases. And even with the gas costs I pay (which are more than $60 a fillup), I still wouldn't give up my daily to save a few bucks at the pump.
  13. Might want to stop by an English class on the way over there.
  14. Ummm, yeah, you aren't going to find this drive for $50 new. I'll keep it before selling it for $50.
  15. I'm only quoting this because that is inaccurate: I bought a 57" Sony CRT HD, mint condition, a year ago for $550. I didn't feel hard pressed.
  16. I may be PM'ing you about hiring you to lay some easy tile once my tax return arrives. I have all the tile, but have never done it before, and don't feel like screwing with it until I see how it is done first.
  17. Just a FYI, most good condition used ones tend to go for nearly what new ones do. I lucked out on mine, since it needed $100 in parts and a couple hours of work + knew the guy selling it. I suggest getting an 18' one. They are easier to deal with than the shorter trailers. And make sure the electric brakes are in good working order. Wiring is cheap and easy to replace, so I wouldn't worry about that.
  18. TTT, this is a fair deal for a good hard drive. I'm running the same one in 500gb flavor and it works great.
  19. That doesn't seem like THAT much food. No more than say an All American Breakfast at Waffle House. Mmmmm, Awful Waffle, now I'm hungry.
  20. Wow, I REALLY like that. I have the Sporster Replay (I upgraded from the Sporster to it the week it came out), but that's awesome looking. Too bad they changed cradles, or I'd upgrade to it. I have too many car kits to be changing out units.
  21. That line wasn't going too far. We don't need people who rely on sucking off the teet of welfare to be breeding.
  22. Can they even check on this website, since you have to have an active account to read the content here.
  23. Several pieces of software, as some movies won't rip with certain programs: - DVD Shrink - DVD Decryptor - RipIt4Me - FixVTS - DVD Fab DVD Shrink has its own burning software, but I burn faster with Nero.
