Uhhh, the Avalanche is nothing like an El Camino. The Av basically does everything a quad-cab, short bed Silverado can do, and a bunch of stuff it can't. Still a full frame, 4WD, solid rear axle truck.

$900 a month seems a bit low. I heard the people across the street from me pay close to $1000/month in rent, and that's for a smaller house than yours, built in the 60's, and not in tip-top shape. Quiet, crime-free Reynoldsburg neighborhood is the big plus for it.

Funny...I have an ATI card for my older PC on my downstairs TV. Vista works fine, as does the ATI control panel. You must not be doing something right. Besides, if the control panel doesn't work on Vista, how is that Vista's fault? Both NVidia and ATI slacked on their drivers for some time; only recently they have actually getting their shit together.

You should get Sirius and get some Howard and Bubba in your life, and stop wasting your time with that crap.

Next year, Bubba is doing a morning show for Cox Broadcasting on two testicle radio stations in Florida. It will be a totally different show than his Sirius show. And honestly, after listening to him on Sirius, how could that Cox show even compare? I'll look up your account stuff tomorrow if I get time and PM you. That is painful to listen to...as is most content on testicle radio.

Gotta love Bubba. But from the sound of it, he may not be here after the next year. Looks like he took those two channels with Cox for his Morning Show, with his Afternoon show on Sirius (god that Cox show has got to suck in comparison). When the year is up, I heard he is going to go with whomever gives him a better deal. And I bet Cox, who probably has more cash to spend, and is more desperate for talent, will give him the better deal.

Working from home; probably until 4-ish. By working at home, I've also wrapped presents, watched a movie, surfed the net, burned DVD's, took a shower, had lunch, and am about to pack up the Avalanche for the trip to Grandma's after I'm done working. Hard work, I know. Ehh, I have to field a short phone call/text message from some techs in the field, and assign some work out, but that's not a big deal.

I assume you are flying business or first class; that helps. I hate flying. Nothing to do with fear (I love take-off's and landings), but being 6'3", I am packed into that freaking seat. Even even if I can get an isle seat on an exit row, it is still hard on my knees. I'm way to cheap to buy anything but the least expensive ticket!

Those laws should be throughout the US. Wish we had them here.

Here is a funny little thing I noticed when I went to Niagra Falls back in October. We stayed at the Canadian side; mostly white folks and Asians (probably a 60/40 split), with a few other races thrown in there. I never saw a single person of the "Latino" race. Last day, we go see the American side before coming back. Now the American side is considered less desireable to visit. I'd say 25% of the people I saw on that side were "Latino," if not more. Just an observation.............

Why should we tolerate illegals invading this country? I guess the next time someone breaks into your car/home, you should just tolerate it. I've been posting my 3-step idea here for a while. Step 1: First, you have to keep them from getting over here. Build a border wall across the US/Mexican border. This wall needs to be armed by whatever armed forces we choose to use, with a shoot-to-kill policy. Step 2: Heavy Deportation. Once you prevent the majority of border jumpers from getting here (someone will always slip through), then you deport everyone that is found to be an illegal. Instead of these no drivers license people getting away with a ticket for whatever common name the illegal gives them, actually reseach who the person is. No going back to get their stuff, just deport them right when you proove they are illegal. Then find where their illegal family is, and deport them too. Step 3: Now that is is hard to get over here, and you'll be tossed out when found, give them no reason to come. HEAVY fines to anyone renting a home to an illegal or employing an illegal. If someone finds it is not lucrative to rent to one or employ one. Now the next person thinking of border jumping finds that: - Hard as hell (and will most likely die) trying to get over here - Second I get caught I'm getting shipped back. - No where to work or live, so what's the point? And other than a few minor law changes, most are already on the books, and we are just enforcing what is already there.

A fucking men (seems appropriate for quoting the Dr.). Let's not forget that most of them don't have a license, or car insurance. They hit you, then guess who gets screwed on their insurance. Where are the stats from that, because I know several people that have been screwed in that way by these freaking illegals. If you want to be here legally, you are VERY welcome to be here. If you are coming here illegally, you are a criminal. These people are breaking the law, and we are allowing them to do it. I don't give 2 shits about their plights, problems, and how bad it is in Mexico or whatever shithole they came from. The US can't rescue them all, or it will just bring the US down to the level of where they came from. Sorry, that's reality. Same as we can't all win the lottery, we can't all come from a rich family, we can't all be models...life isn't fair. If you want to improve your life, come here legally. Do it the right way.
