  1. If it is just rear O2 sensors, just buy O2 simulators, or have someone program them out.
  2. I'll take 3, please. Carbon Fiber roof; but is it a targa top or fixed roof? Almost looks like it might be a targa top!
  3. Funny, I read that thread and saw several different people giving advice on things you could check, and asking what you found from those checks. What; people are supposed to go over to some random asshole's place and fix his car for him??!!
  4. Auto Zone type places. I think I paid either $40 or $45 for my last one; I know it wasn't more than that. Haven't bought one in a couple of years.
  5. 07 > 08 - Spiderman 3 - Live Free or Die Hard - Transformers - Superbad - 300 - Simpsons Movie (ehhh, was alright) - Shrek 3 (alright, that kind of sucked) - Beowulf - I Am Legend Haven't watched yet (but have on DVD), and were big-release deals: - Pirates: At World's end - Bourne Ultimatium - Resident Evil: Extinction - Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer That 2008 list is pretty pathetic in comparison.
  6. Superbad = awesome. Knocked Up = pretty lame, with a couple of funny parts. That movie was all about "where is the funny?"
  7. I owned a 94 GT as well; loaded but with a 5-speed. I thought it was pathetic that this Mustang was supposed to be direct competition with my Formula (stock for stock). The Mustang was pretty reliable, but way underpowered in comparison, stronger rear but weaker tranny, I didn't find its engine bay all that inviting either. Many prefer the Mustangs rear suspension, but its front suspension is worse, so again a trade-off. I wasn't a fan of it.
  8. Will I still have to wait in line for half an hour to buy it, while watching the various kinds of trashy people doing whatever stereotype you could assign to them?
  9. Yeah, they work. I hate them, but they work. Many times they are a PITA to get working. If your TV doesn't have some way to d/l guide info, you won't have any. They tune SLOWLY. They all do, regardless of what brand of equipment you have. They aren't bi-directional either, so you can't order any PPV or use VOD with them. Luckily, in about 2 years all the M-card stuff will be popular, which should resolve all these stupid issues regular cable cards deal with.
  10. If parting out, how much for 2 of the burners?
  11. What makes someone a bad fan? Yelling at people who like rival teams, and giving them shit? Or being fairweather?
  12. Update; just need a single stick of PC3200 @ 1GB now. Aquired everything else I need already.
  13. Have made some profit on Black Friday goodies I bought.
  14. - Rotary...god that is just about the worst sound you can get. - Viper - Inline 6 Ford truck w/ a catback...wow, it's bad. WRX's sound better than a lot of 4 bangers, but that doesn't mean they sound "good." I'm not a big fan of the Porsche 6's either.
  15. Wow, I built the 135 I would "want" and I was @ $47,000. Ummm, no.
  16. Very fair price. O2 sensors are an easy swap, as is the tranny mount (stock ones are junk; go either 1LE or Energy Suspension...some people thing the ES is too stiff, but I like it). Ehhh, I wouldn't expect 25MPG out of an auto. Manual, you may if you are easy on the right pedal. Common problems are leaking intake manifold (cheap fix), if waterpump leaks it takes out the Opti, so make sure it is good. Power window motors suck, but again and cheap ($40) and easy (hour or less). Some people (I never have) see issues with the gears in the headlights; make sure they go up/down okay, otherwise you may need to flip the gears or go brass. Make sure the rear isn't too noisy, and all the normal stuff you'd look at on any car. For an auto car, 96-97 is the year to own for the LT1 cars.
  17. My g/f has a brand new in the package H300 Motorola I'm sure she would like to sell. Click here for info That said, it is a 1.2 device, so you won't get the 2.0 distance. Also, she is out of the country, and won't get back until the 29th. She does live in the Hillard area, so if you decided you wanted it, it would be close to pick up.
  18. It is for a gift to someone. Just a simple point-and-shoot digital, but has to be in great condition.

    slingbox

I have the Slingbox AV. I got it when Comp USA went out of business at Easton = got it cheaper than I could have anywhere else (including any used I found and on E-bay). I would have gotten the Pro...but they were out. Slingbox: My complaint for the AV is that you can really hook two systems up (say, DVD player and a cable box), but can only use one channel of audio. It has composite audio (red/white), composite vide (yellow), and S-video. And either or both sound channels can be assigned to either video input. It has to IR transmitters, so it can easily run both units that way. They should have simply added two more composite sound inputs. Slingplayer: Pretty easy to setup. I find some of their remote selections questionable. I mainly use it for my Sony 400 disc DVD changer, yet I have to use a remote setup that's not really for my changer, and is a bit clunky to use. Yet they have 30 different remote setups for single disc Sony units that is doubtful anyone would ever hook it up to. Slingplayer is a CPU hog; any setting that's going to look decent at full screen will require at least 1.8GHz, and you better not multitask much more than a little web browsing. With a P4 2.8GHz I've been running it on, no issues. Unless you don't mind overly compressed video, make sure you have a minimum of 512k up on your internet side. In your home network, that obviously doesn't matter, and I have mine setup to pull ~5000kbps/second. Overall, it is a nifty gadget. If you travel a lot, it is a must have. I also have the SlingPlayer on my Palm Centro, which works pretty decently too. I never really use it, other than the WOW factor of watching your home TV on your cell phone. If you have the money, buy the Pro. But understand that though the Pro has HD inputs, it downconverts everything...sad, because you could crank the bandwidth in your LAN and get HD to your PC. Still, it is a better hookup setup for multiple devices.
  20. Nothing too special. I'm not really a gamer (may play something every now and again). Mostly a websurfing, DVD ripping/burning, and multi-tasking setup. Pretty much something I can encode DVD's, have my Slingbox playing, and surf the web at the same time decently. Setup (all brand new): Ultra Aluminus Case Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Board 939 Socket Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Evercool Silver Knight CPU self contained Water/Air cooler Just E-bayed: Seagate Berracuda 320GB SATA HD w/ cooler (cooler is probably worthless, but came with it) About to Win: Hiper Modular Type-R 580W SLI PSU I don't really need the SLI feature (nice to have); I need the two PCI-e slots. I could go pretty cheap on a card, except that I need something with Dual DVI, as I'm running 3 22" monitors, and want to run them all DVI. Cost is a concern; I'm not trying to spend much out of pocket, and I'll be selling my current setup once this one is up and running.
  21. I'm surprised Greg Schiano didn't take the offer; I'd guess that Michigan didn't offer him as much money. I mean, leaving LSU or WV would be much harder than leaving Rutgers, though he has done a lot with that program. But this Rodriguez guy gets a really good upset look when his team is losing; something we OSU fans will really appreciate.
  22. 1st video is the best. I liked when the truck hits the row of cars, and the first car basically just crushed into nothing.
  23. Wow...some of you must be deaf. In no order: - Most things Ferrari and Lamborghini...hell, most V12's for that matter - 5.0 / 4.6 Mustangs, Ford GT, some older Ford V8 stuff. - BBC (big time, especially on alcohol); a lot of SBC and GEN-II SBC stuff. LSx based stuff if it has the right exhaust setup on it...it can go either way on those motors. That's pretty general; there are a few other specific examples. But come on...Viper V10's??!! They sound like a pissed off UPS truck...YUCK! Rotaries; that's pretty much the worst sounding motor ever created. I think I'd rather hear a Honda with an open exhaust manifold than a rotary.
