  1. I'm sure people will bitch about that Danny guy using his knees; but IMO if Kimbo wouldn't have kept trying to wrestle the guy OVER AND OVER AND OVER it wouldn't have happened to begin with. Any of those retards ever hear of a ref??? Jesus, do you really need a bunch of idiots rolling out onto the floor every time they see something they don't like?
  2. But let's face it, K-mart is, and has been for as long as I remember, just one step up from Big Lots. IMO this strengthens K-mart, and weakens Sears. I live literally 2 minutes from a K-mart, but drive further to NOT shop there. I think their stores suck, as does their general selection of what I want to buy. I just consider the place trashy, and is just bringing Sears down.
  3. That's reminds me. My first cell phone was an Aerial. I was pleased with the service (very good at the time), and the rates were REALLY good. Then they moved over to Voicestream. I stayed with Voicestream for a bit, but could see how the service was going downhill and jumped ship to Verizon. I've been a Verizon customer for 4 years now.
  4. Been there, done that, and resulted in my being towed home from the track. This was a couple years ago. It was a combo of things that caused it: - ET Streets I had already made a pass or 2 on, so they were sticky - Not much water in the box, and the NTR guy having me pull to far forward - 2nd gear burnout (only 3.73's out back, at the time it was internally stock and had stock manifolds/y-pipe). - Biggest thing was the POS Clutchnet kevlar/bronze disc. When I tried doing the burnout, the damn clutch pucks shattered apart, and it FELT like I was doing a burnout. But after a couple of seconds, something didn't seem right, and I let out of it. Didn't make a pass down the strip.....good thing as it wouldn't have made it. That clutch pissed me off to no end. The way it drove on the street (it was basically an on/off switch; very harsh clutch) I figured it would hold anything. Guess not. That disc kindly trashed itself, my flywheel, and LT4 pressure plate. Not that I'm pleased w/ my SPEC Stage III Carbon, but it never did this crap to me!
  5. Haha....HAHAHAHA....cough cough...AHHH HAHAHAHA!! Sorry, I deal with my f'ing POS Sprint phone at work DAILY. That thing drops calls like it is its business. Places I can't even make calls with it, my Verizon phone has several bars. Normally the Sprint phone likes to drop calls at the least opportune time (like me being on hold with dispatch for 10 minutes, 15 seconds later I get the good ol' Signal Faded). This has happened on multiple brand new Sprint phones, and EVERYONE I work with (that's a lot of people) bitch about the same thing. Sprints mobile web service sucks too. I can't really say anything positive about them, except they have a decent phone selection.
  6. Have custom rims made with whatever offset you want (of course that is by far the most expensive option too). I personally wouldn't feel all that safe with a welded on spacer.
  7. 1984 RangerT, 1989 Spirit t1, 1987 shelby csx t2,1978 Ford bronco 4x4 Nothing else needs to be said.
  8. That right there is the problem. Those two Americans should have been arrested and had the book thrown at them. It's the big picture. If we aren't paying to prosecute and curb illegal immigration, then we will be paying when it comes to other costs of allowing them in (health care, welfare, crime, etc.). Perhaps shooting people crossing the border illegally on site would help curb this problem??
  9. I'm not even going to comment on that. The C6 is freaking awesome, and the Z06 is only going to be better looking. Jesus, I tell you that you need to do a little more research, and you act like I ran over your dog....geesh.
  10. If you don't have your own car, then why in the hell would you list an Intrepid and Blazer in your vehicle list???
  11. You need to do a little more research. The LS1 and LS6 block are nearly identical, but do have a few small differences. Intake wise, later LS1's got the LS6 intake. The LS6 heads are different, the compression is slightly higher, and it has a more agressive cam over the LS1. The LS2 uses heads that are pretty much LS6 castings, but with a milder cam. They gain the power back by running a higher compression (using flat-top pistons) and larger displacement. The LS6/LS2 heads aren't even the top LS series head GM has....that is saved for the C5R head. I'd guestimate if you just took an LS2, bumped up the displacement to 7L, and tossed in an LS6ish style cam, that alone would be good enough for 440-450HP. My guess is that GM will go with a cam even more agressive than the LS6 cam, and get an even better flowing head setup. I'd guess a different intake too, along with some other goodies that won't make much of a difference.
  12. The 04 GTO is a regular LS1. The 05 GTO will be a regular LS2. I would definately rather have a GTO over a Bonneville, but I wouldn't say they are really going after the same market of people.
  13. More info for you: - You can easily run a distributor on a stock PCM'd LT1. You simply machine the intake for a distributor (or run a single plane intake that already has the hole). Run the coil wire to the distributor, and there ya go. It will still use the Opti for the low/high res pulses the PCM needs, but eliminates the cap/rotor, which are the big weak points on the Opti. - MSD doesn't sell an Optispark, just an expensive cap and rotor. Whether that is really worth upgrading to remains to be seen - Even if you aren't using the old Opti, you don't have to remove it; it doesn't take up any valuable engine realestate, and isn't very big....cheaper than a block off plate, unless you can find a buyer for the used Opti.
  14. You can buy one at any autoparts store for a couple of bucks.
  15. But a CTS-V or Z06 (the two cars that qualify for what you described) cost a LOT more than 38k new.
  16. It's the freaking truth. I think it is partly because society is making things too soft for kids; they just can't learn the hard way. I remember my elementary school's playground. It was all built on concrete. Merry-go-round was right on concrete; if you fall of, it's gonna get bloody. Tall-ass swings set - you jump, you just might break something. The big metal slide that's 200 degrees in the summer; bare legs = melted skin. Monkey bars that kill the monkey if it falls! Today, it is 3' of soft woodchips, plastic everything, specially treated/sanded wood to prevent blisters, warning signs everywhere, short swings w/ plastic covered chains, etc. If a kid can't learn the consequences of his/her actions on the playground, are they going to learn them anywhere else??
  17. I was thinking the same freaking thing. Probably some Arab guy thinking "wow, The Matrix was a cool movie; if I splice something about that into this, it will be a cool video too right....I'll be hip and current, and get lot's of virgins." I mean seriously, I've been with a virgin, who want to bang a bunch of broads that are clueless in the sack??
  18. It can only void the warranty if they can prove that is the cause of another problem (aka if your speakers are blown, they are going to blame it on the head unit).
  19. I totally agree that every child NEEDS an education....and it should be even more strictly enforced than it is now for them to get that education. But simply FORCE the parents to pay for that education, regardless if they want to or not, with no option of just pulling them out of school. It's the whole point of why should we have to pay for someone else's children? I'll go a step further with home schooling.......it should only be done by someone who is a licensed educator.
  20. I've had friends be on probation before, and one spend a VERY short time in prison. But being in trouble w/ the law was an exception, not the rule, and they cleaned up their acts. I try not to associate myself with hard criminals, past friends or not. Notice this guy STOLE from people and ASSULTED people. Instead of looking at it as "he was in trouble with the law" look at it as "he was/is a CRIMINAL who has directly hurt people both physically and financially."
  21. Yes. Why a twin setup?? Seriously, a 346ci motor can spin a pretty decent size turbo without any lag. IMO, in "most" street car cases, twins on a V8 are more for show than anything else....a single will get the job done just fine.
  22. My point was forcing the parents to pay thru direct payroll deductions/direct property tax, or whatever. But making it to where pulling the kid out of school isn't an option. It's all about people's consequences for their actions. If some broad wants to keep her legs spread and pop out 8 kids, then it should be the rest of us having to suffer through taxes because she can't figure out what birth control is.
  23. Why in the hell would you WANT to try to renew a friendship with someone doing SERIOUS time for some pretty SERIOUS crimes??
  24. The first ones....wow, just wow. You could never park your vehicle ANYWHERE. Imagine if some thug-life theif decided to steal your rims! Even if I was Bill Gates rich, and wanted to ghetto up my ride, I don't think I'd buy something like that. The seconds ones.....we'll be seeing those around here next.
  25. Wow, the buildup of the guy being a tool in the Sti, then that. What a let down.
