  1. Honestly, what makes people do such stupid shit to their cars?? It has to be more than a lack of good taste.
  2. I saw a Maroon one just like that (minus the rear window picture) on 315 a few weeks ago. Sad.

    Rachel's

As has been stated, Pure Platinum is 18+. But the place sucks ass; pushy/annoying women that look like the chicks that couldn't get hired on at at Cols. Gold next door. The lighting sucks, the stage side dances tend to suck (there are a few dancers that gave a good show, but most half wiggled their ass 3' from you and took your dollar). Backroom "full nude" dance was stupid. I've been there twice; I won't go for a 3rd. I thought Cols Gold was 21+ only. I haven't been there in a couple years, so maybe that changed. I know Dockside is 21+. Kahoots is another great place, but again it's 21+.
  4. I always have the Napa machine shop off of 33 do mine, but that's not close to you at all. They've always done good work for me. Not open on Sunday either. If you have a bench vise, you can do it yourself. Not the funnest job (which is why I normally just pay the $6 to have NAPA do it and avoid the hassle).
  5. On all fours with a big grin on your face??
  6. +2....chasing wiring gremlins sucks!!!
  7. I've been violated a few times when I lived on campus (well, as the very edge of campus in a house my roomate owned). My "favorite" was when we were on vacation for a few days. They break my driver's side window out. Low and behold, they steal my $900 Eclipse HU. Of course, anyone who knows about Eclipse HU's knows if you cut power, you HAVE to put the key CD back in within 5 tries or the head unit shuts down. And let's just say the key CD I setup wasn't one most people would have, or EVER guess. But the best part, they cut the external power pack to the head unit, and left it in the car. So it wouldn't power up regardless. They stole a $900 paper weight. Then they try to get to the back of the car to steal my amp (this is before I had a second amp/sub); pulled the carpet up but never got to it. Dumbasses. Of course, Allstate insurance dicked me around....imagine that. I'd love to meet face to face with some of the assholes that have broken into my vehicles........
  8. My roomate and I went to see them. Freaking AWESOME concert. Atomship = graemlins/gay.gif Apartment 26 = British graemlins/gay.gif Cold = graemlins/thumb.gif Sevendust = graemlins/thumb.gif This was my first time seeing Cold and Sevendust in concert, though I've been meaning to see them for quite some time (I've been fans of both since their first CD's came out). Cold definately is able to make their songs heavier in concert. Sadly, some of the vocals got drowned out. Sevendust was freaking awesome. Folks were getting a bit wild in there. We had one drunk guy that about got ganged up on by my roomate and I; a few other people he pissed off kinda calmed the guy down and sent him on his way away from us. Sevendust put on an awesome performance. You could tell all of the band members really enjoyed being up on stage doing their thing. Promowest does need to fix their damn AC units; everyone was getting wet by them dripping constantly. Great show, even saw a good friend of mine from back home. Anyone else see this awesome show, or was hanging out in a parking lot the extent of tonight's activities???

ok guys,...this is Trevor Posting.....Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I am interested in the neons that you are offering up for free. My ph num is 330-819-7201. I have them working but i would like to use more so that i get the look right. NO BULBS CAN BE SEEN ....I repeat NO bulbs can be seen! I like them actually but i would like to add a couple more shorter ones. Thanks for the loving comments really. I feel so touched. Trevor
  10. That Mustang didn't have a chance in hell of outrunning those cruisers. Those 94-98 V6 cars are total dogs, so it's not surprising to see those crusiers run that guy down in a hurry. The guy did a good job recovering from those spins though. I just never understood why someone would keep running once the choppers show up; you KNOW you aren't getting away then. Especially in broad daylight.
  11. Sam, ya shoulda fixed the GTA. Then get the Z back on the road!!!
  12. $3850 for a dress he only paid $1200 for. I doubt the bidder will actually pay up, but the bidder does have a good chunk of positive feedback, so you'd think they wouldn't want to injure their rating.
  13. I talked to him on AIM that night you gave me his screen name. He said he would get ahold of me by the end of the week (gave him my e-mail and phone number), but he never did.
  14. Yes, I did get mine free (it's good to be a moderator on a very large message board from time to time), but I was going to purchase one regardless. But when the guy offers me a free one, I sure as hell wasn't going to say no!

    No....please no!!!
  16. From what I've heard of headers on most 4 bangers, it is a lot of cash for VERY little gains. Perhaps save your money for something more worthwhile.
  17. Tie the frame together even more. smile.gif When you say front to back, is that just basically a boxed piece of steel running from the front to the back?? Perhaps make a copy of something like this. Those are what I have on my car; obviously you can't use them, but could give you some ideas at least. Mine are VVEERYYY sturdy; biggest/strongest set of subframe connectors made for the 4th Gens....and sadly, easily the heaviest. Could try fabbing up your own shock tower brace as well.

  19. The rims are the same offset as a 3rd Gen F-body, I know that much. Will fit all 2WD 1st and 2nd Gen S-trucks (Blazer, Jimmy, Sonoma, S-10, S-15, Bravada); I know they won't fit the 4WD 2nd Gen S-trucks, I'm not sure about the 4WD 1st Gens. As for a Caprice, I dunno what offset they use.
  20. Totally depends on where you put the cutout as to whether you need to jack the car up or not. On my old setup, I could reach under the car and get it. W/ my new setup (cutouts off of the headers) it will be even easier. I also have really long arms, which helps some. That said, I have an electric cutout, and it's a great toy. Really nice when driving w/ the cutout open on the street and you have to drive near a cop. I had several DMH cutouts. Dave at DMH was a great guy, and always fixed them, but they were just really unreliable for me. I'm not saying they are for everyone, but I had some terriable luck with mine. I sold that and got a QTP. I've had one motor burn up on it, but has been fine since. Already my current QTP has lasted longer than any of my DMH units, so I'm already having better luck. Trevor has dual QTP electric cutouts on his 69, and they have worked very well for him. His success w/ those is the reason I got mine.

    - Same Trevor at the COFBA party - Doesn't play for OSU, did for a VERY short time (past injury didn't allow him to continue playing) - Yes, I came out for a while. Got to see a GTO up close, so that was cool. Got a chuckle out of all the people laughing at the 2 RX7's that left at the same time, fart comments all around.
  22. It sucks to see them finally go, but they haven't really offered anything interesting in a long, long time. The Aurora was alright, but known to be problematic.
  23. Well, no one bought it as a salvage, so now I'm parting it out. I'm parting it down to a rolling chassis, so I won't sell suspension/rear-end off of it unless you want to buy the rest of the vehicle. Pictures Aftermarket parts: - 16x7 American Eagle Rims w/ Tires. Still have the Discount Tire warranties on them. I paid a little over $800 for them 3 years ago (and would have paid $900 had it not been for Discount Tire having to price match them to a cheaper rim because they screwed up). Price: $350, 300 if you have a junk set of rims/tires that can be put in their place. - Lowering kit. Belltech 3" drop front springs, 3" drop rear blocks. Springs drop evenly, and seem to be a true 3". This is a good drop, no so much as it looks like a ghetto Mexicali ride, yet gets rid of a lot of wheel well gap. I only installed them last summer, and probably have 5k miles on them. Price: $100. - Edelbrock TES Headers/Y-pipe. Direct bolt-in, CARB exempt headers/y-pipe. I'll include the slip-fit extension I purchased to allow it to actually bolt-in, something Edelbrock kindly forgot. Price: $175 - Dynomax Cat-Back. Dynomax doesn't sell a cat-back for the 2-door trucks, so this is a 4-door unit I modded to fit a 2-door. Works well, sounds pretty decent. Will no longer fit a 4-door. Price: $40. - Class II U-haul hitch w/ ball mount and 2" ball, plus wiring harness. Price: $75 Anything else you want, just ask about it. The truck is a base model w/ the CPI 4.3L. Tranny started leaking after the accident, so I'm not sure about its condition. I won't part out the motor; will only sell it as a complete unit. Everything else is fair game. Either post here or PM me.

It's not for his 69. It is for his other new toy; anyone who was out at Jegs last Saturday knows what his new toy is. Sadly, the previous owner of his new toy put blue neons on it, and though they do go w/ the color scheme, neons = the gayness. As I've alreay told Trevor time and again, the only thing I'll help him w/ on those is pulling the damn things off his new toy. Of course, I could always just cut the wires to the neons every time he gets them working............. And Trevor can be physically defeated; a single peace of spicey beef jerkey turns him into a whiney pansy. tongue.gif
